K, I wasn't gonna review this Target because I was giving them the benefit of the doubt...it's the Sunday before Christmas...that's why they're out of stock on a lot of items and everything in every aisle is tossed all over the place. But since we went to another Target 24 hours later and everything was pretty tidy considering it was Christmas Eve, I was very unimpressed with this Target. Come on people, get it together! I love you Target but your Fullerton store made me have to think twice. I'm still giving you 3 stars because I can't fairly judge you based on the hoildays. Worst Target ever. My daughter who is special needs wanted to get her nephew my grandson a gift. She wanted to get him a 5 pack of hot wheels. I sent her the picture off the Target website that showed they were available at this target and sent it to her. She wanted to go there by herself to get this for him. She walked into this Target and asked the first employee she saw if he can show her where to find these hot wheels (I was on FaceTime with her while she was doing this), without even checking or pointing her in any kind of direction the first thing out of his mouth was "we are sold out". Then he walks away. I told her ask to show you where the toy department is. But this jackass was long gone. So she asked another employee and they pointed her in the right direction. She gets to the toy department and I tell her look for Hot wheels and see if they have individual cars and she says "Mom here re the 5 pack for $4.99". Then she says they need to fire that guy, he lied to me. So needless to say all the business I used to give this Target will now be going to Walmart. Unfortunately she didn't get the Jackass worker's name otherwise I would put him in blast on here. Customer service training needed for this Target desperately. What is going on at this Target????? They just remodeled it and it looks like hell!!!!! The store is empty !!!!!!!!!!! The stores is a mess!!!!!!I don't think anybody working in there is over 21. How can corporate let this happen????? There's five kids back in the electronic section standing around talking to each other there's two girls in the make up section standing around talking to the girlfriend about a party and fake eyelashes meanwhile the whole store looks like a tornado just went through it where is the supervisor where is the manager where is the corporate office ????????? And to top it all off they're selling groceries out of that store everything must be out of code and not rotated properly!!!! # 1 the worst target I have ever been in ever!!! For now I'm lowering my review. Recently it seems like a lack of care is going into this location. The carts are almost empty all the time, the ones that are still available are cracked, full of trash or just downright dirty. We mentioned this to an employee and he just shrugged it off said he was on break and so is the cart guy so nothing he could do. Nice, great service. Also though there stock on food has been spotty and lots of dented cans, broken product once you get it. Just seems like management is letting this place go. read more

This is one of the worst targets I've been to. It was recently remodeled so the overall layout is quite modern, but the maintenance here is awful. There's always tons of carts and boxes of things that need to be stocked and it's difficult to see/reach any item you want or to get your cart through the aisles. It's like a maze! Typically, the employees are pretty nice and will offer to move things out of the way for you, but shouldn't all this restocking and organizing be done already?! If it isn't, it should be done after closing hours so that shoppers can actually shop comfortably and easily. The women's bathroom has also been remodeled and it looks nice...besides the huge cracks between the doors where you can see everyone doing their business behind it. It's always so filthy in there though, toilet paper on the ground, brown stuff on the walls and toilet paper dispensers which I can only assume is poop and it generally has a stank smell in there. I thought employees were regularly supposed to clean it...boo. Even with all the remodeling, this place needs to be improved with better training, cleaning, and scheduling for product inventory! I love target, and this one is walking distance from my house. Since the remodel it does look a lot better but I will say the women's clothing section still seems to be a mess every single time I'm there and the shoe section. The main thing that bothers me is just about every time I've gone I use self check out. Love self check out for quick things but the tallest security guard there and the same girl every time seem to be making fun of customers under their breath. They have done it to me when I'm walking by to leave. "Does she really need that much?" "I doubt she'll fit in that" or saying mom needs to shut up their kids. I don't know if this is flirting to the max that just ends up rude but either way it's wrong. Same two every time. It's rude and unnecessary. Horrible customer service in that sense. Despite a recent remodel, this location still lacks selection, as it's one of the smaller Target stores I've ever been to. Plus, the area is still shady and somewhat questionable, especially at night. I am writing this review on pure principle that this Target does not following it's company "Mission Statement". On 3/22/18 I made a purchase at the Fullerton store for numerous items including purchasing a promo offer of (5) Axe Deodorant which I received a $5.00 gift card for future purchases. On 4/17/18, I returned to the Fullerton store to return an Axe Styling Hair Putty I purchase on the same transaction (that I paid regular price for at $6.99). When I returned the item, I only received $6.30 for the item that I purchase at $6.99. The associate was rude and advised me that there was nothing she could do because I "used a coupon" on my purchase. I did not use any coupon on the purchase and only promo was the $5.00 gift card I received for the purchase of the 5 deodorants. I can understand if I were to return the deodorant, I would receive less value because that item was the only promo item that I purchased. The associate was unwilling to listen to the situation and was rude. This policy that Target has is unreasonable and makes the shopping experience difficult. If I were to make two separate purchases transaction, one with the Deodorant for the "promo gift card" and a second transaction for all the regular priced item on it, I would receive full price credit on my return. This return policy is basically "nickle and diming" the customer and does not follow the company's mission statement. read more

This was hands-down the worst Target I have ever been in. I didn't need to even bother getting the baby registry list because the infant department was so poorly stocked and so badly organized that all I could find were breast pads and lanolin cream of the things that were on the list. The aisles are very poorly marked and that entire department was a disaster. Another customer was there and I asked if this was typical for that Target or were they remodeling. I ordered groceries yesterday, 11/12/22, and picked up in the Drive up that same night. My order included 1% milk. Got up this morning to find that the milk was not only spoiled but also 3 DAYS EXPIRED, expiration date being 11/9/22. In the past, while shopping in store, the milk refrigerator has smelled a little off but I chalked it up to being an isolated spill. Took the milk back to the store today and, while they cashiers were kind about it, they also admitted that they have this happen A LOT. They also said the spoiled milk is the result of miscommunication? If you buy milk products from this store, please check the dates before approving your order or eating. Especially if you have young kids who wouldn't be able to tell you if it is spoiled. read more

So this is my first time going to this target since they're remodel. This is the closest Target to my home but we tend to avoid it because in the past it was not the nicest kept store. Today when I entered the place looks a lot different, very nice and clean, and the front has been reconfigured and I think flows a lot better. I walked around looking for an American flag without success and then I went to the returns and exchange desk and there was a young man named Richard who went all the way to the back to look for a flag for me and brought back just what I was looking for. So today I found the store to be very nice inside, very functional, and I had great service! I will definitely to share my experience with my wife and we will be back. read more

I really like this target even more now because they have self checkout! Typically they are really good about having all the registers open anyways, but this is helpful when you just need to run in and get 1 item. It's typically pretty clean, they have a decent sized makeup section, jewelry section, the usual. They have a lot of food and even a small frozen food area. All and all this target is good for a lot of your needs, but probably more expensive than a grocery store, unless there is a sale. And who doesn't love the dollar bins at Target!? read more

I was in Target earlier waiting in line for quite a while. There was only one cashier, an older man and one person watching the self checkout,a younger girl. Myself and multiple guest noticed she kept on calling for back up...unfortunately no one answered and she looked frustrated. I felt bad she was handling guest and putting out small fires everywhere. As she kept on calling for more cashiers she started calling for mangers to help her out. What irritated me was that no manger answered her. She was calling for them for quite a while. I'm not sure who called for the mangers after her(probably someone with higher power than her) but after they called for them multiple mangers came out and started helping out guest and going on lanes. I am extremely disappointed in these Target workers who call themselves "managers." The girl watching self checkout definitely deserves a raise or some form of recognition. She herself has the potential of a TRUE manager. It is truly disappointing that Target advertises themselves as a "team" yet no one was able to help her out, until someone with a higher power (I'm assuming) called out the managers. read more

I'm really just leaving this review for Karen - she was wandering the isles when I flagged her down one day looking for a certain Black Ice air freshener for the vents. I was looking for a very specific one and they didn't have it this time. She literally stopped what she was doing to get on her little handheld gun-thingy and find it, and when the store didn't have one anywhere on premise, she ordered it for me to my house. All of that was was above and beyond the call of her duty but she did it with the the kindest of spirits even though she was very busy. People like her are why I don't mind driving a little further to hit Target rather than my other options. Plus she's beautiful:) read more

I was looking for a Ninja Foodie. Because it was black friday weekend every store was sold out. I went to this Target and was helped by their associate Jazmin. She apologized and said they only had 1 in stock, but it was nowhere to be found. Jazmin said a customer could have it and did not check out yet. We continued through the store doing miscellaneous shopping. At the check out Jazmin appeared out of breath and said she had been looking all over for us. She found the ninja foodie! Here we go!! This target has been an abomination since it opened, but tonight was the last time I'll actually set foot in this store. I'm not stopping at yelp either, I'll be taking this all the way to the top. Today I looked up a product I needed on the app, a wood correcting pen in black. The app said it was available and in aisle D38. So I drove there, against my better judgement because let's face it, this target is below par from the rest. I arrived at Aisle d38 to find that there were no wood pens in black on the shelf. There were two other colors and because the app said it was in stock, I knew it was in stock but probably in the back. I used the red service phone to ring an employee. Someone comes, and said there should be 6 in stock and she'd send someone to the back to get it. She was not friendly at all and oddly she gave me this feeling like I was bothering her. After 15 minutes of waiting the lady slowly shuffled her way back over to me and asked if anyone had come out as she walked by me. I said nope, I'm still waiting. She said okay I'll go check it out. 10 minutes later someone comes out with a cardboard box. I said is that for aisle d38? And she said yes. When she opened it, it was a completely different product. She told me she was new and it was her first time in the back and that they have some at the Brea location according to the app, which actually they did not. And either way, how can I trust the app since I showed up to this store only to be let down. I said can you call someone because it says you have 6 in stock. She called someone who basically blew her off like "oh well, if that was the box in the back than there's nothing we can do." OBVIOUSLY she didn't know how to grab the right product yet because it was her first time. I told this girl no worries, I'll just go to customer service. I make my way to customer service, I have now been in the store for 40/45 minutes (for a freaking $6 pen). Natalie at customer service was helping a lady in front of me who said she wanted the deluxe Keurig for $99.99 because "that's what the sign said". They went back and forth with her and ended up giving this scammer of a lady the $189 keurig for $99! ‍ I cant. When it was my turn Natalie asked me what I needed and I explained the situation to her by asking for a manager right away. She claimed she was the person in charge of the front. I said "great! I have been here for a really long time now trying to get this wood correcting pen in black, I'm told you have 6. Do you have someone with experience to go in the back to get it, since the first person that was sent didn't know where to search?" Natalie said yes just wait until the guy comes back with a keurig. The guy returns and I showed him that it was available on the app and he was like actually it shows we have 12. I'll go check. He comes back and said "I checked aisle d38 and it's not there. Might not have been unloaded yet." DUH ITS NOT THERE ITS IN THE BACK. At this point I'm pissed and said I would go check out with the dark brown pen. Natalie says wait we can give you a discount. Instead of my pen being $5.89 it rang up to $5.38! I saved a whopping 50 cents when they are giving scammers keurigs for practically half off. I could have just died. Disappointed. This staff is not trained, not motivated and super green. I will not being going back to that mess of a place ever again. Get it together people! read more

I had thee most unpleasant experience with Ana. Unfriendly, attitude, not helpful. Really blew my mind with her attitude. If she doesn't like her job, she should not continue working at Target. Everyone wants a pleasant shopping experience, and my check out with her was not the best. I've never really considered on reviewing on Yelp, but the minute I searched for the Target to rate my experience with Ana; I wasn't surprised at the overall rating of 3/5. This target was extremely messy! We were stepping over things in the aisle and shelves were so disheveled and unorganized in the shoe department it was impossible to find what we had come for. We were wondering if maybe the store is closing? The shelves in the beauty section were no better than in the shoe department. We left empty handed. Too stressful! read more

I'm giving this Target a 2/5 (should be 1/5) but only because they are currently under renovation. But there's clearly more dysfunction going on than just a few boarded up sections. This place is a war zone. The makeup and beauty aisle is in complete disarray with products piled up in the racks and thrown on the floor. Oh, and the floor... just disgusting. Black streaks of god-only-knows-what up and down the aisles... and some rough brown patches??? The groceries are so poorly organized and sporadically stocked that I felt it necessary to check the expiration dates. When I made it to checkout, I tried to purchase an item with a coupon that made the total $0.00. I was told by the clerk that I cannot make a purchase if the total comes to nothing. I would have been inclined to believe her if it wasn't for the fact that I've used this particular coupon in the same way at my home Target with no problem! I just scan the product, scan the coupon, total is $0.00, and say sayonara! It's completely asinine that I would be forced to spend money with a valid coupon. Does this policy vary by location? Although I was frustrated, I didn't want to be the "crazy coupon lady" so I just left. Maybe I'll visit this location again once they finish renovating. But probably not. Even Walmart is better. read more

A worker here (women, short, short brown hair with yellow highlighted bangs and glasses) was rushing around the store with her cart and nearly ran me over. If I hadn't dodged it she would have hit me. When I confronted her she said she didn't see me. My and I boyfriend were both walking slow and there is no way she could have missed us. I don't appreciate this at all and whoever is the employee manager needs to have a conversation with her. read more

Pretty decent Target now that it's been remodeled. We still prefer the one in Brea, but this one has gotten much nicer on the inside now. We used to avoid this one like the plague, but we don't mind stopping here now if we are nearby. It still could use better overall maintenance. It is usually messy and dirty, and the layout is a little weird. But at least it looks a lot nicer now and has better inventory. Still limited inventory, but better than it used to be. The area still isn't the greatest, so again, only stopping here out of convenience. read more

The 2 stars is purely for the fact that this target does not have Pizza Hut in their cafeteria. Any full-blooded American knows that the best thing about target is being able to go in and grab a order of Pizza Hut breadsticks and dipping those Jesus-like sticks of yeast and garlic into an orgasmic mix of tomatoes and Italian seasoning, mixed and blended into a warm tasty mixture that would be an excellent addition to any food item. It would make the trip even better if it had a Starbucks, but I can get around that. The store has a grocery section, which can eliminate a chore stop on your weekend if you don't need anything special. read more

This Target has some of the nicest, most helpful employees I've come across. I had to do a return, an exchange and needed some help finding a couple particular items today and all of the employees were so helpful and kind. One guy even gave my daughter a couple leftover items from their Frozen II event this past weekend. She was tired and over being in Target, so this made her really happy. I will say that this store struggles with stock and I often can't find things I need, but the employees and cleanliness make up for that! read more

Great convenient location but you really have to watch the prices as they ring up your stuff. Especially the sale items. I've had to question them and show pictures of the sale tags on the shelf many times. Definitely for beer too because as we all know it's not cheap and there's 1 brand in particular that rings up $5 more than the tag price. It does no good to tell customer service. It's a Target, so no matter where you find them (I'm pretty sure they're located pretty much everywhere from coast to coast) you know what to expect. They carry clothing for men, women, and children. They have a pharmacy and carry most over the counter medications and vitamins that you could possibly want. Their cosmetics and beauty departments put your average drug stores to shame. And now many of them are carrying grocery items, too. They have really come to represent a one-stop shop-for-everything store, particularly in outlying areas with limited retail. My trip to this particular Target store was to pick up some over the counter allergy medications and use the restroom after a long drive from Bakersfield. The restrooms were clean, I had no problem finding exactly the medications I needed, and the cashier wished me a pleasant evening so I'd say they did a-okay! read more

Here's what I don't get. And this applies to so many Targets not just this one. How come we are only days away from Christmas and you have people with carts stocking the shelves at around 9:30am? Many parents are coming in to look for items for their kids and the morning is the best time to go. Meanwhile you are stocking shelves while most of the isles are empty. I don't have time to sit and wait if they stock the item I need. Why not bring these people in earlier and have all the merchandise on the the floor and ready for the customer when you open? I haven't been to this Target in about 2 years as it isn't my friendly neighborhood Target but I stopped in on Sunday on the way to my parent's to get laundry detergent. The store is FILTHY, disorganized and unsafe. I had to wander around to find the shelf in the back that had 2 brands of laundry detergent on them. Lines were 6 or 7 people deep. Picked up a pack of boxers priced on the shelf at $4.98 and they rang up for $19.99. Bought a sparkling flavored water on the way out and after a few sips noticed it had expired on January 24, 2011. If you can't properly manager inventory of perishable products, maybe you shouldn't carry them. I honestly used to love this store but now I'll drive out of my way to avoid it. read more

So I'm shopping around for Christmas gifts and waited on average 20 minutes for someone to help me at jewelry after someone called for assistance for me. But that's not the part that got me upset. I was looking for socks (I'm not familiar with this target, I was just in the.area and had to get errands done). two workers were talking to each other and I waited politely until they were done to ask where the socks were. One worker was busy with shoes so I thought I wouldn't bother her and ask the one who was walking. She replied with, "Ask her. I'm off the clock." So I turn around ask the other and she points just several yards away down the same isle that Miss Rude - Pants was walking down. That other lady could have showed it to me. It was just so rude. I mean the socks were just down the same isle she was walking. She could have just pointed and said a few words like the other lady. So unprofessional and rude. I'm sincerely upset. read more
