I'm no longer a customer of this Target due to such slow drive up service and getting rotten food every other purchase. I have waited 15 minutes for a drive up, even when I press the "on my way" button. The employee pushing the carts is usually super nice, but the manager should be offering people something for how long they wait. They also bring out one order at a time, it's a huge waste of employee time and energy. We once went and one of us went in to grab something while the other waited in pickup and he was able to buy 3 things from grocery and the drive up order wasn't out by the time he got back! Another 10 minutes -- we went in to get the order ourselves. Last night I went to returns, and 6 employees walked by and around me, the manager came up to two other employees and not one of them helped me until someone brought keys to the customer in front of me. read more

The drive up service is slow here as they fill orders at a dreadful pace. I went in and spent 5x more. Alas, the cashier saves this place as the service is worth it from the floor. Limited selection of items/choices on the floor. Grocery section isn't limited. Location made other stores build nearby. I always forget there's a hyvee grocery next door. read more

I want to say this is the only Super Target in the area. I could be wrong. So yes, it gets super busy on the weekends. I've noticed it's kind of busy in the evenings during the week too. It can be overwhelming, and the layout of the store is slightly different from the ones at Hilldale, Junction Rd, and Lien Rd. Produce is on the right. They have a deli section, which is not something I would imagine at a Target. Then they have pharmacy in the middle of the store. Other than that, everything else is pretty navigable. Sometimes they don't have the items that have Cartwheel deals, but I think that can be said of the other Target locations too. It works out better for me anyway, so I'm not spending too much at Target. read more

The Target on Junction just got remodeled. The new Target is a train wreck. Starbucks has sandwiches but absolutely no where to sit. The carts cant even get in tiny aisles to see clothes. Originally evaluated this store on 08/05/2019. As of 10/01/2020 my review is the same. In summary, they continue to do an excellent job. This Target (6321 McKee Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53719-5017) is a store where you can but almost anything from furniture to groceries, including live flowers (roses, etc.). The store was recently remodeled, and they did a wonderful job. With the new layout of the store it is easy to find what you are looking for and is super spacious. It is nice to just walk around and shop. The store is very clean and organized. The shelves are always stocked, and item are always available. They have an excellent grocery that rivals large supermarkets. Prices are reasonable. Excellent location near intersection of just highway PD and Verona Road. Easy to get to. The bathrooms are very clean and maintained. Above all, the employees are exceptional. They are helpful, friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeably...they are great! Great job Target and staff!!! With the current Covid-19 Pandemic I felt it appropriate to add the following: All the non-self-checkouts have plexiglass between the employees and the customers. The self-checkout, which I always use, are cleaned/wiped/disinfected after every 1-2 customers go through each checkout. Employees in the stores are all wearing masks and wearing them correctly which means covering their nose and mouth. Thank you, Target and Target Team Members, for looking out for all of us!!! I've never rated a big box store before - but this Target, I had to! I have been raving about their new remodeling to pretty much anyone who lets me... Their set up makes exploring the whole store an enjoyable experience and I can get easily lose track of time in the store. They also have a nursing room for nursing moms - so when I was on maternity leave I always felt confident heading to this Target to get my shopping done with out worrying about a sad baby mid trip! read more

I have no problem using the app to find where things are in the store. I needed a particular item and found what aisle it was in online. I looked all over the store and couldn't find the item. Their aisles did not make sense (went from R-M-I) so I asked for help. The first two workers didn't know and I said no problem thank you and found another. This worker was quite rude, saying "how would I know where that aisle is" and kept mumbling under her breath about it. I have never had such rude customer service, none of them offered to help me find the aisle, instead quickly hurrying away and I had to give up without finding what I needed. Customer service should be a top priority with the willingness to help a customer find what they need. read more

The only Super Target in the area and I wonder when Target is going to change their strategy and deploy more of them. They built a fairly new one in Sun Prairie and it wasn't a Super Target so I spend all my grocery money elsewhere. This Super Target is great! A lot more variety, groceries, just everything. Well worth a shop if you're debating between this Super Target and another Target..or that other Super W..retailer....thats a last resort for me. I stopped shopping here a while back but recently, I've discovered a nice selection of soy candles sold here. I came here three days in a row for the holiday season! Remember where you park or else you'll find yourself walking around like me, pressing the panic button to hear where the car is. There is a new layout that makes you walk around in figure-8 loops with appealing and brightly lit displays throughout the store. Staff are great to work with. Price adjustments to match online pricing or adjusting for sales requires a manager/lead override. There were no issues and no questioning when I found on the Cartwheel app something that I bought the day before was 1/2 off. I got the adjustment, $18 back in my pocket! Of course that quickly got spent on other items. My only issue was finding grocery and home items out of stock or not finding them even though the inventory database showed availability. The Cartwheel app gives you the specific aisle to find items but at times, even aisle markers were confusing. For one item, I spoke to three store associates, all mostly helpful, before having it suggested that I contact another Target to have an item placed on hold for pickup. read more

It's a crowded store as far as this chain goes, pallets of LaCroix stored in the main aisles making it difficult to quickly nabigate your way through the store. The shelves are well stocked and organized. Parking is easy to get into and out of. read more

I got a Nintendo Switch at this Target right at release and was very satisfied. It was the first day they were in stock, so people were prepared to line up to get them. This store did an excellent job informing us when they would be stocked - on Sat 3/4 I came by, they said they'd arrive on that night's truck, and when I arrived Sunday AM they were available! They handed out tickets and you then show up right when the store opened at 0800. Painless, and I got the new system with little muss and fuss. In general, this is a fine store. Not much different than any other Target, but they nailed it on the big Nintendo release. read more

A super Super Target. It's big. They've got full grocery in addition to all the regular Target-y goodness. It rarely seems busy, which in my book is a plus. I've always gotten out quickly in the express checkout lane, and there are several self-check lanes as well. Due to having a full grocery, this Target is set up a bit differently than most, but everything has good signage so you'll be able to point yourself in the right direction without trouble. The location is easily accessed from Verona Road and a quick stop if you're in the area for the movie theater up the street. The parking lot is big and well-lit at night, and in the winter I've had good luck with it being kept plowed and walkways cleared. For me, this location has always been a little out of the way, but if I lived nearby I'd be here way, way too often. read more

I love this Target store and it is easily the best one in Madison, offering the widest variety of products and being my "Go-To" Target. They have a huge selection of fresh produce and prepared foods in the front of the store, along with a Starbucks. I also seem to find the best sale/clearance selection at this store, likely due to its size. I think they could improve the parking lots/crowds at this location, as it always seems to be chaotic and stressful to shop in. read more

I really dislike this Target location. There is never an employee around when you need them. Then when you find one, they tell you one of the following things: 1. I have never heard of that. 2. Oh, we sell that? 3. This is not my department. 4. Try calling customer service. 5. Hmm, yeah, not sure. I don't mind it happening once in awhile but this place is consistently disappointing. They were running a toothpaste sale and the sign said anything shown here. Where is "here?" I asked and no one could figure it out. Another day, I asked where I could find in drawer organizers for my dresser. I was taken to the bathroom organizers. It is definitely small things but they continue to happen over and over. Do you want coffee? Be prepared to wait like 15 minutes even when they are not busy. There are only 2-3 solid barristas while the rest will just suck your life away while you wait. read more

i love this place so much!! i don't even know where to start. the staff here are always very helpful and always make sure you are satisfied and found everything you were looking for. their selection of clothes, food, electronics, craft supplies, and home goods are all absolutely fantastic. i always come here with my friends to shop whenever i don't have anything to do. they very conveniently have a starbucks, a cafe, and an optical center there. i actually got the glasses i'm wearing right while writing this from there!! it's amazing because if i am there shopping with someone i can just get my glasses tightened/adjusted in a couple minutes. their juniors section is honestly my favorite place to look for clothes in pretty much any store out there. (my only complaint is they never have my size but that's not on them ahaha) this is hands down the best target you can go to in this area. i've gotten probably around 1/3 of the stuff i own from here lol read more

Of all the Target stores in the area, this one has the largest selection of gluten-free and allergen-friendly options. Between the great selection here and picking up a few extras at the HyVee across the street, I'm set! This store also tends to have one of the larger selections of women's clothing, especially clearance items. I've been able to pick things up here for a song, and being able to stack store coupons and cartwheel with them makes the savings even better! The store is generally well-staffed and employees are pleasant and helpful (a nice balance of "can I help you find anything?" Without hovering if you'd rather just shop independently.) read more

Always kept clean and i have never ever gotten less than "great" customer service. The cashiers are friendly (but not awkwardly over friendly). I have had associates work with me for 10+ minutes trying to find something or figure something out (we had barbeque grill issues earlier this summer). I also love that they have a really great brand- thousand hills grass fed meats. This location also keeps their clearance shelves stocked full of discounted products! I do not like how small their meat/seafood section is (the seafood is practically nonexistent) but then again it is a Target...not a grocery store. Just keeping things in perspective :) There is a Starbucks and some other fast food chains (can't remember which ones) right inside as well. read more

This target is always kept super clean, the staff is friendly, and I actually prefer to do some of my grocery shopping here. Only thing is at times the shelves aren't as stocked since I tend to like doing my shopping at night. One of my favorite things about targetis the healthier options for groceries. I am generally happy with the target in-store brand - "Up & Up". If they would've paired with Caribou or a local coffee shop, rather than bucks, I would give them 5 stars. read more

Still a good place to find deals but a few things have changed. Their meats have increased in price. All the hamburger has been over and way over $4 per pound when I have been there. The steaks are no better than most local grocer's meat. But their prices are higher and aren't on sale as much as they used to be. As a result we no longer buy meat here. Their salads have increased in price and are therefore no longer the steal that they used to be but they are still very good and competitively priced. The Archer Farms Pizza is just so so. It isn't bad but and has ok flavor and some nice spice but the crust is rather doughy and tough. Opt for something else. We tried the AF desserts and haven't cared for any of them. So this is about customer service and Targets online presence and how it's been deprecated over time. Used to be right in the online store there would be an easily visible notification as to whether a product is available in local stores or not, and the ability to check your local stores. So I called the store and got into an endless wait loop to find out if a product was in stock or not, also tried to navigate Target's contact us link and that really is all about leading the customer to sign in and or join something and we all know what kind of a hairball that can be, not just Target online but anywhere online nowadays. Point is as we may all have noticed/detected if you're not just another lost sheep also ran customer, what Target and I'm sure others, really aren't in the business of answering customer question or sensible online store web design with the CUSTOMER in mind. No, it's signing up prospects and we will direct you to what we think you should be doing online in our online store. Again, the Target web page could have simply indicated if stores in our area had that item stocked, but NO, even though there are at least 5 Target stores in our area, I could have been notified easily online regarding in-store availability. So what did I do(?), waited the two calendar days and immediately bought the item for the same price on my Amazon Prime account. Duh, simple, done, else if available I would have picked it up today on my out and about stuff. See, people wonder why everyone is behind Amazon, they shouldn't cause its simple stuff like marketing departments that make decisions on their online stores to not serve customers but some other short-term store club idea, nope never going to pick up sales in the long run just annoy shoppers. Now I'd I would easily give the Target brick and mortar stores 4 stars but the future in many locales is going to be various online/old style retail and various delivery options, we all know it's coming if not here already for many. I really like this Target location. Of course I get lost in it because it's Target and it is so large but the service is great. I also like that I can grab some socks and some fruit in one location without having to visit two stores. I do however wish that there were more people walking around asking if any help is needed because it is certainly easy to get lost in this store. With that said however when I am able to grab someone's attention for assistance they are beyond helpful! This location is also very clean which makes it that much easier to shop. read more

I am a big fan of Target. I usually go to the one in Fitchburg. I love that I can almost always find what I want and usually at a good price. Sometimes the lines at the registers can get long so I try to go at off times. I would say about 75% of the time I can get help easily if I need it. Do not order from Target online! I did not check out consumer affairs complaints before I decided to order 4 sets of 4 canape plates. I was trying to get them in time for Thanksgiving, but that was impossible! First, I received 1 set of four plates. I immediately went to their chat room to explain that I received a partial order. I chatted with Edward. He asked me wait while he checked my order. When I stepped away from my tablet for a minute, he came back and acknowledged the mistake and asked if I wanted a refund or a "replacement order" When I did not answer immediately, he ended the chat, but left an 800 number for me to call. I called that number and no matter which option I chose, it was an invalid choice. So.. I went back to the chat room. This time I got Joey. He gave me Edwards long speech verbatim. You know, the speech about how much they value my business?I asked for a replacement. He asked me to wait. He came back and said he would order a replacement. I asked if he could request for shipment today, since I need it for Thanksgiving. He said, "Sorry, 5 business days." I don't have my plates yet. From reading complaints on the Consumer Affairs site, I don't have high expectations. This was my first and last order from Target! read more

Let me start off with the fact that I like Target the store. The management is a wholly different matter. My son went into the store and bought a couple of games. One of the games was not working so he contacted the maker of the game and they said if he sent a copy of his receipt they could send out a replacement. My son informed me that he never got a receipt. I told him I would call Target and all would be well. Oh boy was I wrong. The "manager" I talked to told me it was impossible that he didn't get a receipt, I'm glad the customer is always right. Then with a condescending tone, asked when he was in, what was he wearing, what did he look like, and on and on. Then she said she would check their tapes. Well three weeks later and still nothing. I've called their corporate number and am still waiting to hear back from them too. Both promised me a 24 to 48 hour turn around time. I talked to the game company and explained the problem and they sent out a new copy. Target could learn something from them about customer service. Target, the store, I like. Excellent costumer service in this store. Went a couple of weeks ago to buy a toaster for my new apartment. There was supposed to be a few on sale, but no one could find them. A manger showed up and resolved the issue fast and perfect. Love it! I will buy there again. read more

The Target store as a whole may be OK, I am writing about the Mobile department of the store (where I got my cellphone). The clerk was nice enough when I bought the phone and even when I stopped by with a question, but I left 2 messages for him with no response regarding a rebate. Then I called the main Mobile Dept (and not just this particular employee) and I spoke to someone who promised he'd have the manager or this particular employee call me back, but again it didn't happen. I had to call the store again THREE DAYS LATER and at that point basically the person I talked to directed me to the Verizon store across the street for my question.
