I always frequent this target for both work & personal shopping. The place isn't the cleanest but it wasn't much of an inconvenience until today. 12/21/2022 I came in with a client to shop. Can't complain when it comes to using Shipt through Target. I can usually always get a time for same day delivery and the service is always up to par. Even if I've had a so-so delivery experience Shipt and Target are super helpful with the order. I love how I don't have to necessarily go to Target in order to get what I need because physically going tends to lead me to spend more! Ha! read more

This review is for the women at the customer service/return/pick-up. The women there are amazing, especially one in particular that's always there when I'm there. She's super friendly and provides great customer service. I will add her name once I get it again. I shop online a lot and I sometimes think the employees say under their breath "oh, here she comes with another return" but they don't! They get the pros and cons of shopping online. This target is tucked away and barely seen. For a major corporation you would think that they would do something to stand out. Even from the freeway you barely notice they are located where they are. Every other target location I have came across they display to difficulties in being seen by the naked eye. And I know this target has been there for years. Surprised that branch has been there for this long. When inside I was not impressed. Definitely not one of the best interior looking targets I have been to. It was pretty much one of those targets you just wanted to get in, get what you needed, and check out asap. Luckily I was just passing through and didn't need to pick up much. The bright side was the check out, the cashier was polite and greeted me accordingly. At least the conclusion to my visit was better then my first impression of the establishment. My complaint is geared toward Target Stores and their return policy. But also the fact that the "guest services" person that handled my return treated me like a criminal. Target has been amazing with their curbside pickup! They really have their stuff together and I wish I could say the same for other businesses. Their app is so easy to use and they are so quick with filling the orders. I have found that the only time an order takes longer than usual is when an item in no longer in stock. It's also super easy to change or cancel the order if needed. The last few times I've gone to pick up my order, they were already outside waiting for me. I might as well update this review because it's been years since I last wrote an update for Target and many things have changed since then. So, omg. Target is my 2nd home. I cannot live without Target. I literally come to Target when I'm bored. I can probably browse for hours without buying anything. Or, when I have to buy a particular item, I end up buying more things (things I need eventually but not necessarily at that moment; I need some self control). They have so many amazing products! It's super convenient! I really love their clothes. I think 80% of my closet is Target apparel. Their clothing is cute and inexpensive! And, they have a great selection of foodstuffs. I actually buy a lot of food from here. I absolutely love that they have PB2 peanut butter! I buy that stuff all the time! I also go crazy for their dishware. They have an excellent selection, and it often changes by the season. Just recently, I bought a few mugs, including one with donuts and another one that said #muglife (which totally describes a third of my kitchen cabinet space). I simply have the time of my life here at Target. Albeit, they are not perfect. They seriously need to figure out the lipstick situation in the makeup section. People need to stop opening the lipsticks. I don't buy open lipstick product because you don't know who may have handled it. Just like with medicine or food. And, they should probably expand their tea selection, but this is Target. Not Whole Foods or Nugget. Not quite a supermarket. The employees are pretty nice. No complaints in that department. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM TARGET! We bought Target gift cards as a birthday gift for our grandson whose birthday is on January 24th. When our daughter went to purchase a basketball for him, she was told the card had a zero balance! Took the card and receipt to the manager and he said we had to call the number on the receipt. We then had to call that number, file a case number, while they do an investigation. The operator on the phone said that the card had been used on the 17th! We hadn't even given it to our grandson yet! The operator said the investigion can take 1-3 days. We needed to take a pic of the receipt and front and back of the card and attach to their email. When I walked in the door the nice girl showed me exactly where to find it and she was very nice. When i told them I need a computer mouse they all 3 pointed in the direct of the computer mice but not one made an effort to show me. Compared to Vacaville's target, Fairfield is disappointing to say the least. I was in line today to buy a sports bra and matching tank top, but the tank had a security device on it. The cashier told me that she did not have the ability to remove the tag, but she would ring me through and then I could go over to customer service and have it removed. Just went here last week to get some things for my baby. The selections are awesome. Got lost in the Christmas section! I was literally diverted to my initial plan of just getting some milk and snacks. The employees were great and very helpful. But the downside are the number of homeless people loitering outside at the parking areas. They were seriously scary. Especially this holidays season. We saw someone even holding a long branch waving it around. And some looking through trash cans and bushes. And someone talking crazy by himself. I hope they do something about the situation. Worst online customer service ever!!! This doesn't pertain to this store, but an online experience and since no one wants to give me corporate information, here goes. I placed several orders over the weekend and the website kept defaulting my address to an old residence that I no longer live at. I corrected it but when I received the shipping notification, my old address is listed. I spent almost an hour on the phone with UPS only to be told to call target. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Target only to be told that even though my orders are still being picked, they can't do anything. That I have to wait for them to be delivered, HOPE that they person admits they aren't theirs THEN request a refund. That is the worst customer service I have ever heard of!!! I came here on my lunch to get a cooler for my son. The store is always clean and majority of the time organized. Staff is very friendly asking if needing any help. Appalling treatment by the "customer service" desk. I called with a question and was put on hold while they transferred me to the bakeware department. I was on hold for over 6 minutes---at two minute intervals, their desk phone would ring and I would be put back on hold again. I called back four times and was never greeted, just put back on hold. This Target is not that good compared to other Targets. I prefer the one in Vacaville. This Target does not have Starbucks or Pizza Hut inside :( it only has the Target concession. Also, their dollar spot here is super small it's not even an aisle, it's just a couple of shelves. read more

She was perfectly friendly, made me a perfect drink, and went above and beyond to make my experience pleasant and at the end of the exchange I find I cannot even give her what I give to anyone who is working a job in any service position who offers great service. Preface: I love, love, looooove Target. It's a one stop shop for me, from clothing and groceries to beauty supplies and house essentials. With that being said, this Target location is by far the dirtiest out of the other surrounding Targets (Vallejo, Napa, Vacaville). Their shoe department has more shoes on the floor (and missing its pair) than on the shelf, and their clothing department haphazardly stuffs as many clothes on a hanger on the rod that it's difficult to look for sizes or pull the size you want off the rod. There's garbage on shelves and on the floor throughout the store from cups to dirty napkins, and carts with products block the aisles which make it very difficult to maneuver around. The employees are hit or miss, some are really great at helping you find what you need or will move their carts so customers can squeeze through. The other half, well, they just ignore you and keep talking to each other or have an attitude for bothering them. If you can, drive an extra few minutes and go to the Vacaville or Napa locations for a much cleaner store, more variety in product, and happier customer service read more
