I purchased a comforter set from Target and it was delivered by Instacart. I attempted to return a comforter set that was purchased, it arrived as a comforter cover set. I attempted to return it, in New Jersey, because it was convenient. The Target stores Downtown Brooklyn are super busy and the merchandise return lines are long. The Target in Deptford insisted that I have the receipt where it was purchased, because it was delivered by Instacart. The rep was not at all courteous. She acted as if she was in a rush. It doesn't matter which state I shop, I always find Target and the customer service questionable. One star because the k-pod coffee is lit. Other, I am not impressed. read more

Guest services is horrible. Zero customer service skills offered by the rep. She did not greet me, just scanned my barcode for in store pickup then proceeded to help a customer who walked up after me for a return. Then walked away without a word. Waited a ridiculous amount of time for my small order and when she did come l back, she handed me the items with no word and no thank you. Also witnessed her acting nasty to her coworkers, ignoring them, and making faces at them behind their back. Conveniently she was the only one out of the seven other workers I happened to see in my time there that wore no name tag. What a joke this store has become. The front of the store constantly has overflowing trash in the bin, and the parking. The customer service associates are young kids laughing and goofing off. The shelves are a mess and barely stocked. The prices have gone up so much that it makes it not worth coming in here anymore. Today at the check out, the cashier, a young kid, did NOT greet me, nor tell me my total until I asked him and he just handed me my receipt without saying a word to me. He wore a mask on his chin and was extremely rude. I'm so done with this Target, it's not the first time I've had an issue here. Definitely not the best target I've been to. The store is OK, somewhat kept, multiple shelves are disheveled. The service was the worst part of this target. Employees are not eager to help, but rather seem disturbed or annoyed by any questions that you may have. The lady at the checkout counter would probably benefit from retraining. I had approximately 15 to 20 items both grocery and non-grocery, she proceeded to check everything out and placed it in a large pile at the end of the counter. She did not ask if I wanted a bag (and I do not mind if I had to purchase one for $.99) and just left them there and looked at me. I had to asked to purchase a bag, and bag the items as she just stood there looking as if that was novel to her to bag the items. We bagged our own items while she watched. The next customer was waiting for our transaction to completely end so that, the counter space could be used for the next transaction. Can't tell it it was laziness or ignorance. But either way, it's just a poor reflection of how people are trained at this location and how this particular target is managed. read more

Target alone was fine had everything I need however after I wanted to enjoy a nice refreshing drink from the Starbucks. May I add there communication skills with each other are worst then Biden and Trumps. I ordered a large black ice tea with 37 pumps of liquid sugar, the male coworker gave me it but after I received it the female coworker tried to give me another, he never told her that I had already received my tea nor did she ask him. Next I ordered a large strawberry refresher with no berries and lemonade and never received it and when I told them they argued that I never ordered it even though it was on the receipt and I showed them the receipt. What is not to love / lust here ?!!!! Target has prices equivalent to Walmart but of course is cleaner and classier. Mens, women's, children and baby clothing, accessories, etc plus toys, electronics, stationery, housewares, jewelry, makeup, toiletries etc! I think all have the grocery and pharmacy sections now. The only thing I dislike is that their small animal section is just that - small. No bird seed for my babies here! My kids love their cafe and it reminds me of old school Clover and fun memories with my darling deceased grandparents ... Lastly, the decor is red - my favorite color :) read more

I find it incredibly displeasing to have a shopping experience interrupted by two "employees" trying to sell me a phone plan. One employee greeted me very kindly asking if I found everything okay. After returning their greeting, I am then asked about how much I pay for my cell service. To which, I replied politely that "I am not willing to share that information with anyone, sorry". I am then told that I must not like to save money and stalked through aisle afterward ‍ just seems incredibly unprofessional. I think I'll shop elsewhere from now on or order online. read more

Employees are so lazy in the store you ask a question and if they don't know off the top of their head the response such as where is the canned cat food they just look at one time and I don't know there might be one or two employees that might actually take out their store scanner and look for those items but your unlikely to find someone read more

If you are buying visa gift cards for people you better check the receipt. They charge $5 activation fee each card. What a rip off. Never even thought to look. Needed $75 worth so bought a $25 and a $50. So $10 in fees. Shady as hell. read more

Legal disclaimer: I have taken a lifelong oath to never purchase anything from a Target for personal reasons. Today was only my second time ever in one of their stores, and I did not feel like I was missing anything based on this location and visit. But what I did notice is that the cleanliness and red color scheme can psychologically affect a person. The glossiness of the surfaces, and crisp right angles on displays and aisles, give an impression of consumerism. A feeling creeps into you that whispers, "buy me, I'm a great price here". However, on closer inspection and in the light of logic, many of these prices are not great. I noticed 2 very popular home appliances that were markedly more expensive that at other stores. Health and beauty products as well are higher. Then I noticed something that I like to buy as small gifts for family members, the price was pretty good though I was unable to remember past purchase prices. And these items featured a promotion, buy 2 get a T gift card for $5. Hmmm, good deal I think? Must....not...give...in. It was close, but my vow was not broken today. read more

I really am liking this Target again since they added a food section. I can pick up food stuff while saving money on other essentials, which is a big plus. Their prices aren't that much higher than the mega-competition down the street, and the experience here is way better. Like, can't even compare the two & worth paying a few cents more. Plus, Target just has a nicer selection of children's clothes. All in all, I am a fan. And it's much easier to access this shopping center than the one around the corner. read more

I was at the Deptford target on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, to pick up a present for my granddaughter. The website indicated that the product we were looking for was there, but when I arrived at the target store the product had already been sold. As I contemplated how I was going to get this present young lady by the name of Tiffany asked if I needed any help. Clearly I did. I commend her professionalism. Tiffany took the tim to locate the same toy at another Target, and also made a call to that store to have the store hold the product for me to pick up. Target's always good in my book. Good selection, competitive prices. The Cartwheel app makes a game out of otherwise boring grocery shopping. We also have the Target card for an additional 5% off. It adds up over time. Price matching also comes in handy here and there. Pretty standard location otherwise. Nothing extraordinary, but good nonetheless. read more

A problem with someone last year and that was fine that was resolved. But yet again I just encountered another person at the same target. His name was DANTE he was a cashier and I was trying to do the spend 50 get 15 back. I handed him my paper coupons and instead of scanning my coupons he literally took the money off the item so I wouldn't qualify for the spend deal. I recently purchased a bike and had it assembled by Target. 2 months after the purchase, the handle bars came apart and fell off... WHILE I WAS RIDING THE BIKE! I tried to contact the store to determine what my next step is, but regardless of what department I try, NO ONE ANWERS THE PHONE! I am a new Target shopper and expected better service. read more

Hi my names ronald, and ive been unemployed now for about 6 weeks. Supplies are getting low. One of my kids called me a fucking loser so here i am at my favorite neighborhood supply store. Target. My winnebago took a shit about a mile back down the road so here i am walking to target. I get there and lm kinda hungry. So i head to their restaurant and i sit down. About an hour later i come to the conclusion that i wont be served. I get in line and the bitch gives me a stern talking to. I don't really know why. I cant atop staring at her buzzcut shape up and neck tat. Anyway, i order an all beef dog and some cola. She tells me to wait a minute. I might as well work here myself because im doing more than this bitch is. I mean the audacity she had to make me do it all myself. This has nerver happened to me and i couldnt be more disappointed. I scarf down my cola and dog and head to the isles to pick up some things. A tooth brush, a frying pan, and a stack of paper towls for starters. The employees were also about as useless as a pair of sunglasses for a blind dude. Anyway, i get all my supplies in hopes to sustain life for another 2 weeks. Target is usually a really good place to shop for me. But unfortunately i had a bad episode today. I arrived back at my RV to see that it was just out of gas. This Target store is one of the worst stores I have ever been to. The store director is rude and unprofessional. I will continue to shop at Wal-Mart where they treat customers and employees like human beings. I k ow of someone who worked there and from the 1st day they started this store director did nothing but harass them for things that were not even correct. I used to love this target but they have recently become unprofessional !! I ordered a big kitchen set for my daughter on December 9th and was notified that it was ready on today the 21st. When I went in the store to pick it up , they were looking all around the store for my order , then after approximately 5 minutes , they said "your order is lost, all we can do is cancel it" when I asked well where is it ? It's a little bit of an inconvenience but I still want my order. The manager then looked at me like I had 10 heads and they were no help at all . After being so patient , I asked for the number to their corporate office, because something I ordered on the 9th shouldn't be missing from the store if it was never picked up ! Instead of giving me the corporate the number .. the manager insisted on giving me a fake Number ! Yes , a fake number ! I didn't realize Until after I left the store. So I got on google and found the real corporate phone number . It's so unprofessional and unorganized to lose an online order. DO BETTER !! read more
