Seems like out of spite I was charged a strep throat test I never agreed to. My son had a cough for almost a month. It was mild but yet wouldn't go away. Something told me to go somewhere else when I saw that the kiosk wasn't functioning. I did not want to drive out to Oak Park so I decided to stay but that was a bad idea. The idiot who performed the strep throat test was way too rough that ended up hurting my sons throat. He said the pain got worse because he described the pain as a lump in his throat. We walked out with a service that we did not need and in a worse condition. I tried to dispute it with minute clinic but it seems like I'm stuck with the bill because I've been waiting for them to remove it but nothing seems to be done.

She claimed she spoke to the manager, who supposedly advised her to just reschedule me. When I asked why no one called to notify me that they wouldn't honor the appointment, she actually had the nerve to say that "notifying patients has to be done in person." Why do appointments even exist if you're going to drag a sick baby out in freezing temperatures just to turn them away? As I got understandably frustrated, I told them they weren't doing their effn job. The staff member then looked at me and said she was "thinking" of seeing him, but because I was upset, she now wouldn't. My son ended up having the flu and two ear infections. They were more worried about being out the door by 8:00 PM than the health of a suffering infant. When I asked for their names, they both acted like mutes and refused to answer. If you have a child, PLEASE do not come here. They are unprofessional, heartless, and clearly hate their jobs. Go to Midwest Express Clinic Urgent Care (5700 W Fullerton) instead. Even though they also close at 8:00 PM, I called them and they told me as long as I walked in by 7:59 PM, they would help. The three ladies there were helpful, treated my son, and even checked me as well. Avoid this place at all costs--they don't care about your family's safety.

It was 9 p.m. on a Sunday, and DuPage Immediate Care was the only place open. I was initially concerned after reading some negative reviews, but due to the severity of my symptoms, I decided to go anyway. I was seen by Dr. Cynthia, who was extremely attentive and thorough. She did her initial observations including listening to my breathing and checking my nose and throat. She then ordered a chest X-ray (without me even asking), which showed she was doing her due diligence. She showed me the images, explained the results clearly, told me what was going on, and prescribed the appropriate medications. I followed her treatment plan and began feeling much better. A few days ago, I developed a worsening and unrelated sinus infection. Because of my positive experience the first time, I returned to DuPage Immediate Care. Once again, Dr. Cynthia was attentive, listened carefully to my symptoms, diagnosed the issue, and prescribed the appropriate medications. She is kind, professional, and genuinely listens to her patients instead of brushing them off like some doctors I've experienced in the past. After expecting a strep test, they told us that they don't do a rapid test because the ownership somehow doesn't want to purchase rapid tests, but based on their assessment they think it is strep. Long story short, we went to EndeavorHealth Immediate care in Hinsdale the next day and everything we were told and prescribed the night before was incorrect. No strep and no pink eye and the medication she was put on should not have been prescribed. Midwest Express Clinic in Elmhurst is equally as bad. Don't go to these non-hospital affiliated immediate cares...they are always a disaster and misdiagnose.
