This Target is convenient for me to get to. It's clean, and I like the layout style compared to others. In 2017, it's gotten self-checkout and a newly remodeled Starbucks that now serves warm sandwiches, etc. I can buy most of the things I usually get from Targets at this one, but sometimes it won't carry something that a bigger Target, such as Clay, would have. They call for backup cashiers when lines get long. Even supervisors and managers will ring. Never have seen that kind of service with their competitor. I love my RedCard. Why not save 5% on basically everything? They have a debit card (comes right out of your checking with all the same cc benefits) or a credit card.

Clean, well stocked, and staff are always friendly and helpful. It's a target, it's exactly what you'd expect.

Another typical Target. I liked their clearance and that they have a Starbucks. Ava & Viv clothing was a super skimpy selection.

Management does not support the business philosophy of making shoppers satisfied. Does not handle complaints in a positive manner.

I was very happy with the table and chairs I had purchased. The couch was one of the cheapest they sold, not surprisingly, the cushioning became a little flattened over the year. Overall I am happy with the quality considering the price. Recently I was here at this Dewitt location looking to purchase a bed, table and chairs for the next apartment I will be moving to. I initially thought I wanted to purchase a Tempurpedic bed since one of my close friends has been so happy with hers for the past 5 years. The sale associate Michael C. was very helpful and knowledgeable about the different options and I ended up selecting an iComfort by Serta insead. The Serta mattress I selected was about $2000 for a queen which was within my budget for a mattress. The day I returned to the store to purchase the mattress Michael was not there but I was helped by Henre. I purchased the mattress, a table and chairs. Henre gave me a discount on the table and chairs. However, these were the same table and chairs I had previously bought for my current apartment in Syracuse so I knew that the price he gave me was the usual "sale" price that I paid one year ago at a nearby Raymour and Flanigans. The apartment I am moving into in Manhattan is a co-op that requires all companies making deliveries to submit insurance documents and schedule the delivery with the management company. I gave the Dewitt store sample documents so that they knew what I needed. When I called the store the day after I purchased the furniture to find out if the delivery had been scheduled it was explained to me that it is the corporate office that schedules these things. When I called the corporate office they said they usually only schedule deliveries the day prior. This made me nervous since I wanted a confirmed delivery time further in advance, but luckily I received a call a few ours later telling me the delivery time would be between 1-4pm. Then on the day of delivery I got a call at noon saying they were 30 minutes away. They showed up 45 minutes later and set up the furniture without a problem. So it all worked out well!!!

It was in the time of COVID and we had to wait for 9 months for the delivery of our new sofa and loveseat. It arrived and...I hated it. The color was blah, my feet didn't touch the floor, the seats seemed lopsided with the stuffing. Then, the tears in the seams started. We purchased the furniture from Adirondack Furniture Company so I sent them pictures of the issues. They sent out a repairman. He did a great job, but the next year there were more rips in the fabric and pilling and fabric pulling apart, which we spent extra for the uber durable upholstery. This past spring, bless their hearts, I sent another email about rips in the head rests. Well, the furniture company, Adirondack Furniture Company, reached out to me and offered 100% store credit to get all new furniture 4 years after our purchase date. People...I think this is unheard of in today's world. Today I ordered a new custom recliner (for Buddy) and a new sofa, and I still have a store credit to apply to a chair for me...all expenses, including delivery and removal of the old furniture, is being covered by Adirondack Furniture Company. These folks stand behind their products! I am incredulous.

If you are unable to use the stairs to enter and exit the store, then you are going to have to either pass up the chance to visit the showroom or see if they will allow you to enter via another means. The loading dock is not wheelchair accessible. This is a huge problem for persons with ambulatory concerns. The store has a location in (north) Utica, New York that is a ground floor showroom. If you like the Adirondack style, then I want to mention and encourage you to visit ADK Home in Old Forge, New York. They have a Facebook page but they don't display much in inventory there. Since that time, I have noticed a tremendous decline in their workmanship. We purchased a reclining sofa and a chair on 8/24/2012. The couch did show wear rather quickly, and eventually the screws kept coming out of the footrest. The chair remained in remarkable shape. Our most recent purchases were on 09/07/2023 (a reclining sofa, lamps, and various ornamental items) and on 05/09/2024 (the matching loveseat). I would love to attach the photos of the sagging sofa, the gaps between the cushions on the back of the sofa, the gouges in the wall made by the loveseat, and the torn leather and ripped metal on the back of the loveseat. I called the store and customer service because of the deteriorating condition of the furniture in such a short amount of time, given there are only two seniors that live in the house. Apparently, the replacement parts are free under the warranty; labor is not because it costs $160.00 an hour! It boils down to this: I will never set foot in another La-Z-Boy store, and I will never recommend La-Z-Boy to another person, but I will recommend people going to hometown-based stores, as they appear to care more about customer loyalty, customer satisfaction, and customer service. In my eyes, the fairy tale of thinking La-Z-Boy has exceptional products is over.

All that I have four months later is a chair with a defect in the leather. Two couches came in defective and Comfort Care which I paid $500 for furniture protection and repair has not contacted me even though Tom said he called them three times. Tom has told me that he would call on specific days and he never did. He never offered me anything for all of the inconvenience of not having furniture for three months. My last communication with him was two months ago. I asked for his manager's name and number to help resolve the situation. He said "no" and hung up on me. This is by far the worst merchant I have worked with. I am sad that the La-Z-Boy name is not one to be trusted. I have worked in customer service for 35 years and if anyone that works with me acted this way, they would be fired!
