Cabinets to Go promises "more wow for less" but what you actually get is more delays, more frustration and no such thing as customer service. The cabinets are of very poor quality, even though they are sold as high end cabinets. But even worse is the Company's lack of customer service, I've experienced long delays with no clear timeline for resolution. Calling the Syracuse location is a total waste of time, messages are not returned. When you finally reach your contact her response is "there's no update". The standard line is their hands are tied and all they can do is send yet another email to the powers that be. These emails go unanswered. Cabinets to Go = constant delays, zero accountability and no customer service. Save yourself the stress, time and money, go with a company that values it's customer and delivers on it's promises. I'm unfortunately back again with another update on my ongoing experience with Cabinets To Go--and nothing has improved. What was sold to me as "high-end" cabinetry at a premium price has turned out to be anything but. The quality is extremely disappointing. In fact, the cabinets I replaced were over 20 years old and were far superior in both durability and craftsmanship compared to these new cabinets. The most pressing issue is a cabinet door that has come off its track. I am unable to fix it myself, so I reached out for support. I contacted the same contractor who installed the cabinets and is associated with Cabinets To Go. He informed me that he needs authorization from the company before he can perform the repair. That was seven weeks ago--and Cabinets To Go has still not provided that authorization. Since then, the only communication I've received is an automated email stating that a case had been opened. There has been no follow-up, no repair, and no resolution. My cabinet door remains broken. At this point, it's clear that the only time this company responds is when a negative review is posted. That is incredibly frustrating, especially after spending a significant amount of money on what was supposed to be a quality product. Take this as a warning: do not waste your money on Cabinets To Go products. The quality does not match the price, and the customer service is effectively nonexistent.

After spending almost 2 hours with the kitchen designer , and not really satisfied with the layout…read more, she said that's the only possible way to lay out my cabinets and appliances. Then she calculated the cost , almost $20,000 before tax ! I said I thought there was a big sale going on , she said not for those cabinets, only the custom cabinets. She then also told me the beautiful cabinets I loved were RTA cabinets . I couldn't justify spending over $20,000 on cabinets I have to assemble!

We decided to replace our wood burning stove fireplace insert with a gas burning fireplace insert…read more We went to three different retailers and ended up buying from Heath & Home because they seemed the most knowledgeable and because a good friend purchased two gas burning inserts from H&H a few years ago and was very happy with the results. When we ordered the insert on September 13, the owner (Brian) told us that he had just purchased the store (he previously was a rep for Regency Stoves and had operated a smaller retail fireplace store in another location, where he had good reviews). Brian was very knowledge about all brands of inserts (not just the ones he currently sells) and was able to answer all of our questions. Installation was scheduled October 9. On October 8 H&H called us to say that they had received the wrong surround and trim (i.e. not the one we ordered) and offered the option of rescheduling the install (several weeks out) or installing the insert and then coming back to install the correct surround when they received it from the manufacturer. Since they said we could use the stove without the surround (it just isn't pretty). we decided to keep the original install date. The installers arrived on time and did a good job with the installation. Less than a week later H&H called and said they had the correct surround and would install it two days later. Again, they arrived when expected, installed the surround and trim piece and were on their way. The new H&H owner seems a little overwhelmed with taking over a larger business but he is very knowledgeable about the products and they followed through on all of the commitments they made to us. The gas fireplace insert is working well and is a delight!
