The worst part is the check out registers. Now, there is usually only one register open (instead of two or three), and a line of 6 or more customers waiting in line to pay for their merchandise. Most of the employees have been there for a long time, and all but one exibit the "I hate my job" vibe. The one that doesn't (yet) is the one that is the newest member of their staff. I used to shop there at least once a week, or at least every other week. Now I go a month or two between visits, and absolutely dread it when I have to check out.

I have come here many times in the past to browse their massive selection of food and snacks. Often times they will have the quirkiest stuff and the prices will be great! I wouldn't say you could get your full list of groceries here, but your gonna find some great items nonetheless. Beyond the food selection, they have a huge assortment of home decor. This is a great place to go anytime you need holiday decor! They always have great Halloween or Christmas stuff at a huge discount. They also have all kinds of other house hold items such as: bathroom items, kitchen gear, and home repair. On top of that, they have a massive selection of great discounted furniture in the back that is pretty top of the line. Make sure to get a membership because they also give discounts via email. My favorite time to shop is pre holidays, and Halloween/Fall will hit the shelves late June or early July! Don't wait when you find a treasure you want to take home, chances are it won't be there if you leave it behind. Especially Holiday items! I'm still pondering the Martha Stewart Rose stool, telling myself I don't need it! Most items are reasonably priced or comparably lower. Lines can be long but there check out system moves along quickly! Very pleasant and helpful employees at checkout! There's always a wide variety of clothing and all is in good shape. I have found a good number of pieces I like at this store, from a whimsical Halloween sweater to staple dresses. Thrifty Shopper is one of the few thrift shops where they actually organize their books too. Being able to spot cookbooks vs fiction vs children's books at a glance is really great. It encourages me to genuinely sit and browse them to see if they have books I am seeking. Also at this time, if anyone wants Rachel Ray cookbooks there is half a shelf worth of them for grabs right now. I will say, if you like it grab it. Outside of special occasion dresses, they sell under garments like spandex, shoes, headbands, sashes (ex: birthday sash), trendy women's clothes for the 20s age range and much more. Their dresses range from $50-$150. They have a lot of the slinky tight-fitting gowns that are appropriate for prom, a red carpet event or as a bridesmaid dress. The worker I encountered today wasn't super enthused and the cash register as well as fitting room didn't have an attendant there until I flagged one down. I ended up getting a dress here that was cute but had so much glitter on it that got everywhere. The glitter was all over my hair and on the floor. I noticed the worker even folded the dress away from her body to avoid getting glitter all over herself. The dresses are of cheaper quality but they do have many that look very nice.

They have a variety of things including car and phone accessories, clothes for mostly teen girls, books, gift bags, toys, dorm decor, cards, candy, seasonal items like beach buckets and water shoes, pet supplies, Syracuse University gear and much more. I got some books here that made for great gifts. I also got my cat's bed from here and she loves it. I don't think you could find a cheaper cat bed anywhere else! They have a huge variety of candies. This place is targeted toward young teens but you could find neat stuff here for any age. The quality of the stuff is what you'd expect for the price. I got a phone case here for my iPhone XR and it was pretty durable.
