Having had a conversation prior, about possible colors and styles I was looking for, he had a number of options with him, which happened to have exactly what I was looking for, although he offered to view other selections at the store. I chose a mid-grade carpet with extra thick padding for insulating factor. Bill was friendly and informative, not at all pushy. Three bedrooms, all above the garage, had cold floors due to old pad and carpeting in this home I purchased 3 years ago. My other floors are beautiful hardwoods, but that would not be practical for warmth and comfort. Bill's brother and a worker did the installation, and I could not be happier. Bill called partway through installation to tell me the two smaller bedrooms were done and master was next. His brother called to tell me they were done and leaving, and I arrived home right after. What a beautiful job, and there were cut-ins in closets and one room, you would never know existed. No seams, one piece, and brother called a little while after I was home to see how I liked it and said to call should I have any questions or issues. Amazing customer service, excellent work, and reasonably priced! Keep it local and give Bill a call.

I decided that I really didn't want to do this so I decided to return the two bags of concrete product unopened and damaged free. Now all you professional contractors probably know that Barnes &Cone in Syracuse, NY does not accept returns on bagged products. I did not. Nothing was said to me verbally at the time of purchase and nothing was written on the receipt. The woman telling me their policy practically was smiling. I called up after I left and asked for a exchange. The answer was no. I think it was obvious that this is not a profession of mine. The salesman had to explain the process to me meticulously. You would think someone would warn me that these products are non-returnable. So now I'm out $70 and I walked away from an establishment that I thought was professional and fair. Buyer beware! I'm not impressed!

OMG! What a surprisingly wonderful experience I had with this company. I had a small bathroom…read moretiling job that I needed done, with quality workmanship and without getting gauged. Of course, I started with the big box stores to nail down what would be a ridiculous price. Coming up short on so many other potential contractors, I mistakenly searched the web using this company's name--thinking it was another that I had been in contact with. I was impressed by CNY Flooring's online customer photos and testimonials, and afterward the willingness of the owner to arrange a free estimate, then finally and most of all the excellent pricing. I purchased my own tile elsewhere, and used CNY Flooring for the installation only. The owner Sid and his assistant did such awesome work and clean-up after that I'm now considering having more flooring work where I hadn't even thought of it before. I will provide an update and photos when the last piece is installed. But, I can tell you already that if you're looking for quality, timeliness, professionalism, and reasonable pricing, look no further. CNY Flooring is one of the best that I've encountered in 20 years here in Syracuse, and more than a half dozen tile flooring contractors in my home over the years.
