I have come here many times in the past to browse their massive selection of food and snacks. Often times they will have the quirkiest stuff and the prices will be great! I wouldn't say you could get your full list of groceries here, but your gonna find some great items nonetheless. Beyond the food selection, they have a huge assortment of home decor. This is a great place to go anytime you need holiday decor! They always have great Halloween or Christmas stuff at a huge discount. They also have all kinds of other house hold items such as: bathroom items, kitchen gear, and home repair. On top of that, they have a massive selection of great discounted furniture in the back that is pretty top of the line. Make sure to get a membership because they also give discounts via email. I especially like the food section with so many items from brands I never see in the regular grocery stores. I was concentrating today on their super large section of Bob's Red Mill grains, flours and mixes. This store must carry over 100 of their items while most places have barely a handful. I picked up Chia seeds, several different kinds of flour( all gluten free) almond and chickpea flour, flaxseed and pancake and waffle mix. It is hard sometimes to actually find things because the shelves are just loaded, but the employees are pretty nice about helping. There is a consistency to some brands and items but they don't always get in the same items.

Don't know if I just happen to get here right after they just did a major clean up or something because everything was organized, clean, and ON SALE!! TJ Maxx is a place to get brand names, but cheaper. Selection comes and goes, and if you don't pick it up when you see it, most likely it'll be gone next time you stop by. The sales are even better when it's end of the season. Ibex t-shirts were on clearance for $20. IBEX!!!! Merino wool!! Ooohh I'm all a-tingling still thinking about it. Then there is the ultimate find: Ibex Nomad 1/2 Snap for $30! Yes, I know it's technically Men's but I fit the Small. I don't want to elaborate more than to NOT touch the wall. With that being said though, use the restroom before you arrive or go to a shop nearby before hand. Susan the pharmacist worked on getting me an enhancer covered by my plan when albuterol was not covered by my insurance. Nancy was exceptional at getting me rung up and asking Susan to work her magic. Both helped me get a cough suppressant as I have woken up coughing the last 2 weeks, not sleeping and not having the skip in my step as usual. They were efficient, caring and concerned and they are helping me on the road to more sleep and energy. Working in a middle school, the energy is needed!

I had not been to a Kohl's since high school, and WOW, they have really upped their game! At first…read moreglance, it looked like any of the standard Kohl's stores I've driven past. But once I got inside, I was really impressed. To start, there were large hand sanitizer jugs in full view and conveniently placed next to the shopping carts right inside the doors for customers to use. There was a very kind lady physically wiping down each cart which looked a lot like baby strollers. Because I seem to have lost all social skills during this pandemic, my inner monologue was apparently more of an outer monologue. When the lady heard me say, "baby stroller," she took the time to point out and explain the difference between the two shopping cart styles offered. It turns out one of them really was a baby stroller. As I navigated the interior of the store I was in awe of the mini Sephora-like skincare and beauty section. The Kohl's of yore that I'm used to didn't have this and I felt that it really added to a more luxurious Kohl's shopping experience, which I'm pretty sure is sort of an oxymoron. The men's department had a huge selection of Levi's which was neat and well-displayed. Due to COVID protocols, all of the dressing rooms are closed off, so some guesstimating of sizes was needed. The shoe selection was great. I purposely flew past it because, in all honesty, shoes are my weakness. Even so I was able to see a great selection of leisure footwear/sneakers like Van's, Adidas, and Nike. Every section was neat and tidy, and I absolutely gushed over all of the touchless price check scanners available. As has been established, I've become pretty socially awkward during this pandemic and felt the presence of the scanners really added to the peace of my shopping experience via less interactions. When it came time to make my purchases, the cash registers had an announcer system which called out which register was free. There was even an employee directing customers to the proper lines. I saw that between customers, each register station, all of which had plastic screens, was wiped down before the next customer was allowed to approach. When it was my turn, the employee scanned my items and then said, "Let me check if there are any coupons you can use towards this purchase." She then pulled out a Kohl's smartphone and very adeptly swiped and scanned her phone giving me a discount. I'd also like to add that all of the customers wore their masks appropriately. Zero chin straps meant zero anxiety for me.
