The Cicero store is no exception. On a recent visit I picked up the Latin Flank Steak bowl. Since I love Wegman's so much, my expectations were high, though this one left me a bit disappointed. The steak was grizzly and chewy. In fairness, the label said it could be served either cold or heated. Since I wasn't at home, heating wasn't an option. If you decide to give this one a try, I don't recommend it cold. Plus, at $16.00 for one serving, it was certainly no bargain. The store ambience is pleasant, but the quick service isn't so quick. In years past, you could pay for your order at the grab and go section, avoiding the regular checkout line. No more. This was particularly disappointing, given employees were just standing around (something I don't often see at Wegman's). With some tweaks to the service model and an upgrade to the flank steak, Wegman's can meet Customers' expectations (and maybe let them forget the steep price per serving).

If you're a tea person this is a nice place to go because they have a really big selection of teas on hand, from various black tea blends, white tea, and herbal. The baked goods have always been yummy. I am partial to their chocolate chip cookie as it has a dash of cayenne to make it a little more interesting and tasty. Earthbound has a rewards program for their drinks so after so many punches/marks you get a free beverage. There is a small discount if you bring your own reusable cup. They have some seating inside but I've never sat there, nor seen anyone else at the tables, so I always sorta assumed it was for the metaphysical services. In good weather there is dedicated outdoor seating. (I usually grab and go though.) As far as the metaphysical part of the Shoppe, it seems nice! There are lots of crystals, candles, herbs, incense, and books. The items of offer are largely sorted into specific areas. They have a whole host of offerings on magick, astrological, tarot, and other metaphysical classes, events, and services. Parking- there is a lot for cars out front. It is on a bus route. Maybe she was new, I'm not sure? I have read other reviews saying they aren't a size inclusive salon, which I don't think I could agree with. I'm hoping that is maybe just a story of the past. I was super impressed to see how many "extended sizing" sample dresses they had. As a normal dress size 14, I'm considered a "plus size bride" which can be very stressful for some. Thankfully almost every dress I tried on were in those extended sizes, which helped me to feel much more comfortable through the process. So thank you NY Bride & Co for that!! The salon is clean & the workers do seem happy to be there. I just have now heard from multiple friends that they all had similar experiences as mine - upset that their guests weren't able to be involved in dress selections (they're the people that know us best) & frustrated that the stylists don't listen to the brides wants and sort of just make dress selections based on what they think will look best on the bride to be.
