Over the last few months, there has been a steady decline in service and cleanliness at this location. This store seems to be running slim on employees. There is refuse strewn on the floors, only TWO checkout lanes out of FOURTEEN are consistently open for checkout, the self check out line is constantly long, and where has the overhead music gone? When last I checked, this Target was in an outside mall so a certain shopping quality would be expected. Corporate should consider making a visit before the store seriously heads downhill. read more

Oh no, Target. Why do you have to torture me incessantly? All I want to do is to find the right deals for the store coupon that I was attempting to use. I had the $10 off $40 coupon for the participating-brand, household items, found in their weekly ad. I systematically browsed through the sections that were part of the deal. I grabbed the Charmin toilet paper, Bounty paper towels, and two (2) Dawn dish detergents. I saw the sign with my large Asian eyes and ensured that those items were qualified for the coupon. Initially, I didn't care about using that $10 off $40 store coupon because I didn't think I would purchase that much. However, after meticulous mathematical calculations, I realized that I needed five (5) more dollars to reach $40 and then I could get to save $10 with that coupon. Well, why did I just grab two (2) more bottles of Dawn detergent? Apparently, I'm one of a very few individuals who still wash all dishes, pots, and pans with my bare hands. Hubby and I confidently proceeded to the register. The cashier was very friendly. She didn't mind us presenting all the manufacturer's and store coupons and even reimbursed $0.05 for bringing in our own reusable bag. Nevertheless, the problem soon occurred after the $10 off $40 coupon was refused to be scanned. The cashier read the condition and the participating brands, and she didn't see "Dawn" listed on the coupon. She then explained to us why the coupon couldn't be used, even though there were multiple signs in the area, where bottles of Dawn dish detergent were merchandized, delineating that "Dawn" appeared to be one of the participating brands. Overall, I've never had a successful trip, using my coupons, at any Target location in the city. Really, there hasn't been a single one, and I'm SO tired of this. Please, please Mr. Target. Make my life easier by posting accurate promotional marketing by the correct merchandize. That's all I ask for. read more

I want to share my Target shopping experience. Store is not good organized. This store is PERFECTLY organized and always stocked well. They have a bar-code scanners located in the shopping area so buyers can check the price before going to the register. This machine helps to avoid situations that can cause delays on check out or paying not expected amount of money. Fun fact I found about: most of the U.S. population lives within 10 miles of a Target store. Great to have a general merchandise retailer to cover your needs close by. Over all, store is perfectly clean. Carts are sanitized frequently. If you forgot your mask - they will offer you one immediately right on the entrance when you step in. Without bringing their policy facts and rules, punishment or questions. Tip for buyers: when you walk in to the store, go to the Clearance section right away. There are tons of cool discounted goods you may need to get. Specially kid's clothing. Sometimes I am lucky to get something up to 75% off just because somebody return it. read more

First time mom here and sent my bf to go buy some nursey water. It was showing in stock on the app and which aisle the item was in. He calls me saying he can't find it. Walks around the baby section for about 10 min on the phone with me trying to find it. Finally asks someone and they automatically say they are out of stock. The app should have updated that if that was the case but I had a feeling the employee was lazy to even look or help him. So he came home and I ordered the water for pick up to see if she was really telling the truth as I would be notified if it was hit instead.... Surprise i get a notification saying my drive up is ready to be picked for the water!! Very upsetting as this is the closest target for us and we needed the water for my 1 month old. Target employees at this location need to do better. You are getting paid to work there. I work and no matter the day I'm having I know that it is my job to help people regardless of what I'm doing in the moment. If you really don't wanna do your job the least you can do is find someone else to help. I hope they are never in the same position as a first time mom trying to get something there baby needs. 5 workers standing around and no check out lines open. You would have thought with it being the morning they would have at least one open. The cashiers watched as I rung out $400 dollars worth of things in the self checkout after being told "the checkout lines weren't open". Unbelievable. I know it is not your job to be the mask police, and it puts you in an awkward position. No one wanted COVID, and yet it is here. But, when people put the mask on to gain entry to the store and then take them off their face and employees say nothing, not even as a suggestion. It saddens me. Went here for a quick buy, toothpaste and was in and out. Store parking lot was busy but I was confident I would be in and out of the store which I was. This location has one big main floor as opposed to the bi-level location I normally frequent at the HIP and I would have to say I prefer the one level as it is easier to remember what sections the products are in. I quickly found my product and went to the checkout which had no one in line and the cashier greeted me and took care of me and I was out there immediately. Definitely would be back! read more

This location of Target is nice, and it is the same as the other locations. Going in here is a good experience because I never leave without buying some good quality products, like any products or items that catch my interest that the store offers. The store is hefty and there is so much stuff to see and to explore that it really needs a lot of time, which is why I really save a lot of time before going in here. The store is always clean and bright. The selections are mostly organized because there are also some parts inside the store that are really close to a mess, like everything is mixed to the point that it is hard to recognize which product is which and something like that. The grocery selection is nice, and the products are fresh, of good quality, and the prices are fair and reasonable. Aside from groceries, I also like to go in here for home goods and for their clothing section. The items from this store are really great because the quality is really good and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the items in the clearance section. There is so much nice stuff that they have in their clearance section, and everything is really a great deal because it is cheap and the quality is really great. Checkout here is sometimes quick and sometimes slow, especially if the line is long. Also, the store has ample and accessible parking. read more

The staff looks like they hate their life! Completely rude! I ordered some AirPods Pro and had my sister pick them up as someone who was authorized to. Once she got there she gave my name and they handed it her without requesting an ID. I'm a little shocked because AirPods are not cheap and the fact that they didn't even ask for an email or ID just makes me believe that ANYONE can just go and request someone's order without authorization. Target is my to go in case I'm in an emergency! Today, I picked up a few greens, Greek yogurt, fruits, and protein bars. Regarding fruits and vegetables, it definitely is on a more pricey side although the products are of very good quality. The avocados that I got from there are amazing. Apart from that, everything else was reasonable. I went in at 9am so there weren't too many people and the check out process was hassle free! It's a very clean store. This is Target, so if you've been to another Target you will know exactly what to expect. The store is always busy but never seems over crowded, plenty of parking and the checkout lines aren't bad (they always seem to have plenty of registers open). The prices are pretty good and the selection is okay, they seem to focus more on variety of merchandise, rather than a big selection of certain things (tv's for example). You can get everything from groceries, clothing, medicine, toys, misc electronics, books... to video games. With that said, while this is my go to store for groceries and other household items, I would go elsewhere to buy a new TV and other electronics (it's not because of the prices, just a poor selection). read more

Worst customer service ever especially at the little Starbucks! The young man waiting on us was unprofessional and preferred talking to his coworkers over making our coffee drinks. I paid almost $5 for a Frappuccino and it was very watered down with ice. I've had bad customer service here in the past but have given them the benefit of the doubt but this was ridiculous. It's worth the drive to go to the Melrose Park target and do a separate Starbucks run. On a different occasion the cashier, Julieanna didn't even greet me. She was having a convo with a coworker and i had to interrupt her to ask her to put my frozen stuff in an insulated bag. When i was paying she was on her phone. I'm done shopping at this target. I love TARGET!!! First, the employees are so helpful. I love that you can just press that button then boom! one appears. Not to mention that they will actually look for whatever it is you need. Second, Target Food Avenue/Pizza Hut & Starbuck in the same location. Making it easy to get some grub in or a delicious Starbucks Strawberries N Creme beverage. Third, this is the only Target that I consistently find clearance sales. I swear if you find it one day, by next week it'll be in the clearance end cap. Finally, huge parking lot! It's the closest target to my house and well it's target there's not much I can say. Always seems to have everything that I need so I can't complain. This is a very popular target store, very big parking lot and covered, very good for the raining and definitely the snow. This is a good selection amid you don't havre to drive to the suburbs. I saw a lot of bad reviews for this place and it seems that most of them are isolated incidents. They have a really good video selection and the food selection Is getting better. I am extremely disappointed in this target, i went in looking for a specific television because before going i checked both the app and called the store to make sure they had the specific model, they confirmed they had it. I went in and 15 minutes later I was told it was a "misprint" someone made a mistake and they did not have the tv. Unfortunately today I struck out and had to go to another store for what I needed, but I guess they can't carry everything that every possible customer might want someday. What bumps my rating up to a 4 star review is the customer service. It seems like every time I go in here I'm always having brain farts and need associates to help me locate what is right in front of me. On every occasion they've been super friendly and never made me feel as stupid as I was acting in pestering them. Worst customer service experience ever!!!! I bought a trench coat in October the plastic buckle cracked last week, I tried to exchange it if the coat is still available. Lia at the customer service who was extremely rude explained to me the coat is no longer available and it is no longer in the system. I asked for store credit since I have the original receipt she explained to me there is nothing they can do for me. I asked to speak with the manager then a man Dan who says he's the store manager but wouldn't give me his last initial says the exact same thing because it's not in the system there is nothing they can do for me. This coat was defective I'm positive a coat is not suppose to break within 3 months of purchasing it. I called corporate and they said the exact same thing because it's not a Target brand the bar code does not exists in their data base it's a lost. How can a HUGE company like Target not take proper action it's not like I purchased this over a year ago. If that's how their return policy is maybe they should buy from a better second or third party who uses better quality materials. Along with proper training for their staff on how to handle situations like this better and in a more customer friendly manner.
