No problems. The parking lot is cavernous. Quite a few drive-up parking spots. Internet connectivity can be iffy, though. Earlier in the pandemic I had to tell the app I was there before I got underground or it wouldn't let me, but it's been better in recent months.

I shop at several Targets in the city and I keep coming back to this location the most often. Two floors, spacious layout, and they have all my essentials making it a one-stop shop. I'm often finding myself buying more than I intended to! Staff are always around if you need them and attentive if you need help finding something. I'm thankful for this location!

It's summertime, and they're out of most grilling supplies. Why?

Target should be better than this, and I bet suburban locations are treated much better by the home office than this Uptown location. This store is always out of stock on so many things all the time, even a year and a half after the Pandemic hit. I included some photos and even wrote corporate about it. That's one big problem. Let's discuss the walking zombies that manage to infiltrate the store and live in the men's bathroom. Every time it's a trip to crazy. Two days ago, I let security know a guy was in the men's room trying to light his pants on fire with a grill lighter. Luckily he didn't succeed, and he wasn't wearing them at the time. Welcome to Uptown.

If I had written this review a year ago, it would have gotten 3 stars. This is a my go to Target, but I would just get pissy because they had these great big carts (nice) but small ass aisles once you got off the main aisles. It was next to impossible to squeeze by racks of items in certain sections. Went in there the other day and praise the Target Red Card, the first floor has been arranged to allow those big red carts to move freely through the aisles. First time in a long time I have been in there and wasn't cussing about running into rack of clothes, handbags, shoes, etc. They also rearranged the wine and liquor section. Looks like they expanded the sparkling wine section as well. I love that it is all in one aisle. The staff is always helpful and there seems to be plenty of them around. They do try to keep lines moving along, although the slow downs seem to be customers when I have been there not ready to pay, wanting to argue over the difference of twenty-five cents (I have given people the difference on more than once occasion to just move the line along). I love the underground parking, especially when the weather is crappy. And this is a pretty big Target, spread out over two floors. With the new layout, I definitely am loving this Target. And it is conveniently across the street from Aldi. If this place had a Freshii instead of pizza, I would give them 4.5 stars.

It's just your typical Target store. It's pretty easy to find what you're looking for and it's super clean. This location also has a grocery store that's a tad more expensive than other grocery stores in the neighborhood. Just like every other Target this location has plenty of employees walking around if you have any questions. The only issue i have with this particular Target is that it's in the middle of the hood and has lunatics just outside it's doors. So be careful when coming to this location.

A great place to get unique, solid wood furniture! After buying a home in the midst of the pandemic…read moreand lumber shortages, it was really hard to find affordable wooden furniture. Upon discovering Nadeau, we found many pieces here that we love and make our home shine! How it works is that they'll have tons of pieces that are constantly rotating, I think often made from salvaged wood in India. Here are some tips we encountered: - Check the pieces carefully - make sure drawers or doors open and close well, and you may want to think about how things close. Some use a hook mechanism which can be tedious for a cabinet you use a lot. We made sure to get one with a magnetic closure. - Nadeau can put you in touch with freelancers who can deliver the furniture for you. Or you can rent a Uhaul and do it yourself! - They do have a very specific set of styles - when we went, it was a lot of mid-century modern, intricately carved stuff, and distressed paint. So it may not fit all styles. - Check their Instagram and join their mailing list! That way you can see their latest shipments and claim anything that catches your eye. Happy shopping!

If you're shopping for items in low-traffic areas that will get little use, this place is great…read more If you're looking for core furniture that you're going to use daily- do NOT recommend. We bought a beautiful dresser three years ago for ~$1000. It had everything we wanted in our price range, enough drawers for both of us, gorgeous details on the outside, that millennial grey color that we love, no complaints. Amazing service at the store. Within a few months, one of the handles snapped off one of my drawers. Then another. Nbd, someone is giving away really good drawer pulls in my local Buy Nothing group. Problem solved. Fast forward about a year, my bottom drawer breaks on the frame. No problem, I pick up a few wood screws from a friend and repair it myself. Now, about a year later, the front panel on one of the smaller drawers has come completely off on the left side, and I can't repair it. Over the three years we've had this dresser, it has slowly been breaking down in new and frustrating ways. And though the folks who work at Nadeau are really friendly people, that "all sales final rule" can and will bite you in the butt. But hey if I ever want to become an Airbnb landlord who pays as little money as possible for instagram-pleasing furnishings, this is the place. Edit- I lived in NYC when I created my yelp account over ten years ago. I never bothered to change my location until now (probably because I didn't know that was a thing!) Nadeau messaged me saying no one from the store recalls ever speaking with me- my husband called Nadeau about the drawers. Seeing as it was several months ago that he called, and his name isn't Holly, I wouldn't expect anyone to remember the call! As I said, the person was very nice, but told us that all sales are final, and that's fine! I have nothing against the quality service of the store, my problem is with the quality of the furniture.

Plus, we had an odd shaped room that we recently rehabbed that we needed the sofa in, and the Joybird team patiently looked at our many diagrams of possibilities, made their own suggestions and fielded our questions. I am certain I would have not been as patient with us as they were. They didn't make us feel stupid for all our questions, or rush us when we were clearly "chieftains of indecision". This was true even when we lingered a bit long at or near closing time. The jaybird team made so many accommodations and changes for us and we felt genuinely cared for us even with our idiosyncrasies. We finally finally made up our minds on the exact sofa, number of pieces and color, and now have this great new sofa in our basement movie room. Even the delivery guys were exceptional. I would encourage anyone looking for furniture to check out Joybird in chicago. For sure!!! Chris S

We got our couch during a sale, and even with adding back in the five-year warranty (which also included two large cushions as part of the package) the cost was cheaper than the list price. Our delivery was several weeks after ordering, which was sooner than estimated; the delivery guys unwrapped the couch parts and put on the feet, but oddly did not clip the sections together; seems like that should be done while everything is in its disassembled state? So now we have to figure that out. But happy with the couch so far: very comfortable (I don't want to get off of it).

First of all, she needs to learn how to welcome people into the store and not just stare and ignore people and not even try to talk to people. My checkout experience was terrible with her. Tried small talk and got silence from her. Literally!!! Secondly, someone needs to train her on how to use the computer bc either she didn't want to do her job or she has no idea how to do anything on the computer. She had to "redo" it like 5 times with the customer before me and with me. And lastly, (the main reason why I'm leaving this review), the AUDACITY with this lady to talk about other customers while customers are literally standing right next to her waiting....she spoke badly about an Indian gentlemen that goes into the store to buy rugs and how she can't believe he could actually have a house that big enough to even buy that many rugs so she believes he resells them. Thankfully the customer corrected her and said "we don't know that". And she's like "oh come on you think he actually has a house that big".....seriously pathetic of her. She should be fired. On another note, Mike was there and was the sweetest person and introduced himself and asked if he could help us with anything. Miranda you need to reassess your morals and remember YOU work there and WE are shopping there...sad woman. It's hilarious, workers like these act like they're somehow better than the customers when they are the ones working there lol. Leaving two stars bc Mike was cool but miranda, awful soul.

After purchasing my first condo this past Fall, I had a long wish list of furniture and decor -…read morenearly everything with difficult, hard-to-find dimensions. I also had a very specific vision for each piece I was looking for, so I wasn't an easy-to-please shopper, to say the least. In fact, I was having a hell of a time, and was at my wit's end, especially with a few particular items on my list. When I stopped in to Inside Home, I didn't expect to find anything that met my uber-specific shopping goals. However, with the help of the store owner Jason, I ended up checking TWO of the most nagging items off my furniture wish-list! Jason was a real hero. Jason asked me, as he probably asks most customers, if I was shopping for anything in particular. I said "Oh gosh, lots of things..." Most shopkeeps would stop there and say, "Okay, let me know if you have any questions", or some other bullshit, and I would probably leave their shop empty handed. But Jason delved further. He asked the right questions, got me talking, and got me to reveal that I was looking for brass swing-arm sconces for my bedroom. He then proceeded to go to his back room, and returned with two PERFECT vintage brass swing-arm sconces. WHAT?! How in the world?! With just a single offhand comment, Jason solved my bedroom lighting dilemma in an instant. Jason hadn't yet done a restoration of the sconces, which was why he hadn't put them on the sales floor, so before he sold them to me, he spent over an hour re-wiring the electrical, installed brand new bulbs, and cleaned them all up! To top it off, he sold them to me at a great bargain. In summary, Inside Home offers a stunningly curated mix of vintage-modern and new-modern furniture, lighting, textiles, and decor. I have gotten lucky with their one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, and I couldn't be happier with their customer service. My only qualm with the shopping experience here is that the owner appears to keep his young son with him at the store every day. Not only does being on permanent babysitting duty create an awkward environment for the store customers, but I can't imagine that being cooped up in a high-end furniture store every day is the proper stimulation for a growing boy. The Inside Home shopping experience could go from Great to Perfect if customers could hold a conversation with the owner without being constantly interrupted by a talkative, inquisitive toddler. Great job, guys! Keep up the good hunting. Hope to see you in the neighborhood for many years to come.
