Here are a few tips for success that may help them in the future: 1. Don't tell the us that another customer left because of the amount of time you were spending with us. The store wasn't that busy and someone else could have helped us if it was your "up" and you were busy. 2. When the customer asks which other stores in the area are comparable don't state that nobody else is in the same category - it is transparently disingenuous. 3. Don't point out that your store is about to close when I begin asking about mechanics of purchasing, ie. incentives for accepting store financing, delivery timeline, etc. 4. You probably shouldn't ask the customers to restore displays to their original condition after checking how they operate. We went to Bassett the next day and ordered everything that we were discussing at EA. We also had such a great experience that we decided to pursue refurnishing the living room too.
