She took her time walking us through every option, explaining the differences, and making sure we chose pieces that fit our comfort, style, and home right down to the pillows and a cooling‑agent mattress topper. What really set her apart was how she went a step further to help us maximize our 5‑year warranty from a previous sofa purchase Marquita was never pushy. She was patient, knowledgeable, and the perfect balance of attentive and respectful. She made the entire process stress‑free and genuinely enjoyable. We left feeling confident, taken care of, and excited about our new pieces. If you're shopping at Bob's, ask for Marquita. She's exactly the kind of sales rep you hope to work with- thoughtful, thorough, and truly exceptional.

We had a great experience with Dustin! After months of looking online, we finally wanted to go…read morein-person to furniture stores and we liked what we saw here! We were needing a pull-out sofa for one of the rooms and didnt want anything too large. He showed us a feel options, and we settled on a leather sofa. They are certainly busy and he had to step away a few times to finish paperwork with his other customers but we weren't in a rush and didn't mind. Our sofa was delivered a few days later, delivery was seamless. The doorframe to the room it was being placed in was causing it to not fit, but they removed it and quickly put it back in. Pretty good service - if they had more stock options for sofa beds to look at, I would have preferred it BUT I am happy with our choice!

As stated in other reviews, this place is not fancy. But you can get the same product for much cheaper here if you don't mind waiting a week or two to receive your furniture. I reviewed their website prices and didn't even really push the sales staff and he gave me a $30 lower quote than the website on a $500 loveseat. I wasn't expecting more than a 10% drop, so that was really nice. I'll be returning as I hunt for a kitchen table!

They are also connected to a Marshall's so you can shop both stores at the same time. The aisles are narrow, and kind of hard to navigate if you have a cart and other customers are in the aisle. The Checkout line was long, and didn't seem to be moving quick.

Home Goods Went to Home Goods/Marshalls for the first time…read morein years. They are in one huge building, with shared cashiers up front. At Home Goods, I found lots of options for indoor and outdoor planters and stands. They have lots of plush throws and pillows, home decor, bath accessories, bedding, and more. Prices are good. Like any store, quality varies by brand. Marshalls is the clothing side. I don't care for it so much, because it has a less organized feel. There aren't necessarily multiples of items in different sizes, so you just hope you can find things you like that fit you. That can mean extra time trying things on, or searching racks hoping to find that piece in a different size. I did pick out some $10 sunglasses. Time to check out. Holy crap! There were at least 25 people in the queue. While we waited for 5-6 cashiers to process us, we were herded like cattle through aisles of low priced goods. Impulse shopping opportunities everywhere. Cocktail napkins, candy, curling irons, earrings, hair accessories, phone cases, home decor accessories, toss it in your cart! My cashier was very nice and fast, too. I'm sure I'll go back to HG, but not on a weekend. She said every weekend they have long lines, and they never have sales.

We are unable to use the recliner for months on end waiting for a tech to come out. Now we have to wait 12 weeks for a motor to be sent out, then more waiting for a guy to schedule to come out to put it in. So, basicly a total of not being able to enjoy the $3,000+ sectional couch recliner for a total of abt 1 out of the two yrs we've owned this huge P.O.S. For the love of all that is good and holy. Spend a little extra and buy from a reputable company w/ decent well made furniture. Value City isn't even that cheap. And their furniture is as cheaply made as you can find anywhere. Looked nice, but nothing but problem after problem.

The tech just left and I couldn't be happier with the products and customer service

When I first walked in there was a female on her cell phone. She was the only employee from what it looked like, but did not acknowledge me at all. After looking around for a bit, it definitely feels more of like an Ashley furniture or another high-end store. The prices were very high for used furniture. Some pieces were $700 for just the two seater couch and you can buy those new for that price. I think they have a great selection so definitely recommend coming but I would shop during their sales sometimes they have 50 to 70% off our entire store other times they have 20% off

Around the corner from Schnucks on Zumbehl Rd, I found Design on a Dime. It's a consignment shop…read morefor furniture and home decor. I thought for years that it was an interior design shop. The shop is in semi-organized clutter. Some areas have been staged together. It's hard to find anything special, as most items, even art, are at floor level. The items you'll find are typically oak furniture, commercial art, love seats, couches, and lots of lamps. As a middle-aged person, I'm guessing the appeal is for more senior adults, or those who value traditional discounted used furniture. I asked the employee about the shop, how long it had been around, etc. She answered my questions with a frown. No sense of feeling welcome. Later, she chatted with someone she knew who came in. I did find a set of white cotton fancy dinner napkins in the clearance section for $3. I give it three stars because of the lack of friendly staff and the staging that makes it hard to walk through and find things. It's okay for an occasional visit but not worth regular checkins.
