We had just bought a house so I decided the best gift would be something for the garden so we could enjoy sitting outside together. I started by searching retail stores but I wanted something that was solid wood and that would last. Every review I read said that a piece broke or the quality was bad. I finally decided pay a little now for a bench or chair that will last for maybe 2 years or pay a more for a good quality bench. This is when I came across Sunset Garden Furniture and called Dave the owner. He was patient with me, answered all my questions, and even told me how to extend the life of outdoor furniture. I purchased an Adirondack Loveseat Rocker which was built to my specifications and two weeks later Dave delivered it to my house. He didn't stop there either. Once he delivered the rocker he gave me a brief lesson on weathering and how to maintain the rocker so that it will last. Three years later we still have the Loveseat Rocker and enjoy sitting on it as our two littles play in the yard. Dave is a very talented craftsmen and his work is built strong. I highly suggest paying the little extra for a handmade product verses a factory built product.

We waited around when we were told they would be there at 4pm and they never showed up. We got a text 3 hours after the time we were told apologizing that they weren't able to get there but that they would try to be there the next morning depending on weather. We heard nothing from them for the next 3 days. I finally reached out again to double check if they would be coming the following week. And I got a response apologizing again for the delay but that we would be the priority the next morning. Now we are 5 days after that and I've been blocked on Facebook and my texts have been left completely on read. This is INCREDIBLY unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE. I had to fight for a partial refund. They wanted me to pay them to make a panel when I proved the associate said several times that it came with the panel. Called the store bawling to the manager because I just had a baby and this is beyond stressful assured me he'd fix it and I'd get a call asap from the installation manager / team to get a new date as soon as possible. Never received a call. I called 3 days later no one is answering the phone after multiple hours I finally get someone and ask for a manager I just keep getting put on hold. Installation team said the new address is invalid and they've been trying to reach the store and no success. It was really refreshing to see some miniature furniture and accessories that were not Victorian. Sure, some is, but there were pieces inspired by the 50s, 60s, and even more modern stuff. The owner is very friendly and helpful. She gave me a sample of some wax to hang a miniature mirror so I didn't have to buy some without seeing how it worked. First of all, they are not Ashlely employees. Ashley's contracts their repair services out to a third party. I needed a service call, and appointments were only available on Fridays at least two week away. This is poor, poor customer support. Third are their actual technicians. I had the first tech come to my home and misdiagnosed my issue. A second technician came out who was 2 hours late. He called to let me know he was still coming 90 minutes after the time frame he was supposed to be at my home. This second technician took my loveseat apart, then told me he didn't have enough time to do my work and would have to reschedule. He said I would get a call to reschedule. I never got a call back. I had to eventually call the store back to get their contractor to assist me. In the meantime after the second technician left, I notice he didn't put my loveseat back together properly and it wobbled. Bottom line Ashley's customers service provider is not reliable, incompetent, non-communicative and really could care less about the customer. With all this, the value of my loveseat doesn't matter because Ashley's support for my purchase is substandard and handled by a substandard agency. I will never, and I mean never, make another purchase from Ashley's Furniture again and I encourage you to do the same.
