Anyway…read moreI looked around and bought more than my online order and I went to the counter and Angel had me move the things I set down with my online order and must have been having a really bad day. She was aggressive during check out, rude about the pen pad, like I'm not 200 and can read, and then packaging my items. I put the receipt in the bag with my doormat and she corrected me that it's heat sensitive and should not go on the rubber back of my doormat. It was so freaking weird, I just stuttered and said oh oh, okay and left. This young lady should not be dealing with the public, and I'm well versed with people with social struggles, so this was next level yikes. Guess I'll stick to the rivers and the lakes that I'm used to. Woof.

However, I was greatly appreciative for what he did. He went out his way to make sure that I did not miss the sale price of what I actually paid for in my items. Because this day I had Grace and favor from GOD. I had been grieving recently and his service was Greatly appreciated. I believe I had the right person on this day from this store. Let's not judge the entire store by the previous comments because the service I received on this day by Nick was beyond the call of duty.

There was also a book section, which we picked up a lot of options for our little one to enjoy for less than $3. We will have to come back again to look at rugs for our bedroom.

Home Goods Went to Home Goods/Marshalls for the first time…read morein years. They are in one huge building, with shared cashiers up front. At Home Goods, I found lots of options for indoor and outdoor planters and stands. They have lots of plush throws and pillows, home decor, bath accessories, bedding, and more. Prices are good. Like any store, quality varies by brand. Marshalls is the clothing side. I don't care for it so much, because it has a less organized feel. There aren't necessarily multiples of items in different sizes, so you just hope you can find things you like that fit you. That can mean extra time trying things on, or searching racks hoping to find that piece in a different size. I did pick out some $10 sunglasses. Time to check out. Holy crap! There were at least 25 people in the queue. While we waited for 5-6 cashiers to process us, we were herded like cattle through aisles of low priced goods. Impulse shopping opportunities everywhere. Cocktail napkins, candy, curling irons, earrings, hair accessories, phone cases, home decor accessories, toss it in your cart! My cashier was very nice and fast, too. I'm sure I'll go back to HG, but not on a weekend. She said every weekend they have long lines, and they never have sales.

I think there was some miscommunication, which is upsetting. As much as we spent, I would have preferred to go somewhere else that offered free delivery. I also gave her the measurements of what we needed to fill, and we did not get the correct amount so I will have to try to get this corrected somehow. When we arrived, we went to the trailer building to pick out rock. It was nice that there were tons of staff to easily help us and it was pretty easy to pick out what we wanted and we gave her the measurements. She calculated it and gave us a price, so that was pretty efficient and helpful although it was not correct. I think there was a miscalculation I am unsure. There is a lot to offer here and they've been here for years. If you need help, the staff is super quick to help with no questions or hesitations. They are all very friendly. When they came to deliver, they called before they had my way to confirm delivery and address once they delivered. I wish they would have knocked to notify me or ask where I wanted the rock and said they just dumped and went so now we cannot park in our driveway until we get it moved.
