This target has a traffic flow that separates the the entry way from the cashiers. They have it blocked off so customers flow past the clothing and then into the rest of the store. They are trying to maintain some balance during the Covid 19 pandemic. I was in love with the toy selection at this location. I found some great deals for a few toys. The selection was varied and was well organized. I didn't venture around much of the store but everything looked well kept and organized. Absolutely inexcusable situation at Target with a manager in charge who had no way of dealing with their mistakes. I ordered and paid for a TV on the Target dot com website. Got confirmation and pick up time for the Blakeney Target. Purchased at 4:00 pick up time was 6:00. We go to the store closer to 5 pm in hopes of getting it when it was ready. There were lots of the specific TV we chose on their shelves so we were confident it would be simple to get. We showed up at the pick up area and it wasn't ready so we left and came back at 6:00. Just before the clock hit 6:00 pm our order changed to unavailable. We had to choose another location or the order would cancel. We hurried back to the customer service pick up area and checked. We were told it was not here. So you guessed it. We went back to the electronics department to check and see if the TVs were all gone. Nope . Still several TVs on their shelves so we carried the TV up to customer service desk to get them to fix this . No one would. They all looked lost. We were standing there holding the very TV we had paid for and had the paid receipt for and yet the app said "no longer available" so the Manager in charge - Cam was called to assist. He continued to apologize but would not give us the TV. After 20 minutes of logical questions and pressing him to call someone who could do something Cam again continued to say - "Sorry but you have to go to some other location that the app shows has it in stock or cancel your order and repurchase it and he would give me the TV. " The issue was the bank had already removed my money from my account because we had purchased it online on the Target dot com website- so if I cancelled the order the money would not be available for 2-5 business days. There was no other money available to repurchase the TV . We had to drive to South Carolina to Indian Land to pick up a TV that was in stock because the manager was incompetent and could not fix the problem. Epic Customer Service FAILURE. read more

In the bedding area there was a sign for 40% off. Apparently, the sale expired 2 days earlier. No one took down the sign. The bedding manager told the employee there that they couldn't honor the sign which I think is illegal. I think legally you have to honor prices posted. She wasn't very customer friendly. I have tried to give this location the benefit of the doubt regarding the lack of Customer service, but it hasn't gotten any better. I waited for Curbside for almost 45 minutes and that's absolutely unacceptable. The store manager was rude and very professional. I hope that this feedback helps them fix the problem, because holiday or not you should always strive to provide excellent Customer service. This is a large target. It's located in the shared shopping area so there's plenty of parking in other stores she can go to. It's stores typically crowded and can be out of stock of several items. I just wish that they hired more people to work there knowing that it's a popular area. Frequently it's hard to find an employee for assistance. If you order drive up to pick up an order, you can take 10 to 20 minutes to get your order and this is a a day where the weather is nice. Despite the store being short staff, the staff are friendly. The pick up inside can be long as well depending on the time you arrive. Good luck! read more

It's hard not to like this Target. Clean, brightly lit, cart corrals clear, merchandise neatly organized. It's right on Target. This is not a SuperTarget. While they do have some groceries and food shopping, there is not a complete meat or frozen section. Plenty of dry goods and some fresh produce/dairy/deli stuff but not too much. Electronics was in good shape today as I stopped in to check out recharging adapters for my phone. Men's wear? Excellent and well stocked from the underwear to the outerwear. Sizes? Good afternoon, I just left the Starbucks inside of the Blakeney Target. I would not recommend going there ever again. The young employees working today only talk and tell stories with one another, while the line gets longer, and longer. Lots of customers got their drinks far before I did. I continued to wait for what was about 30 minutes for TWO drinks. When I mentioned it to one of the young employees, there was no apology, only a short excuse about foam drinks taking longer than others. These two young girls are still working as I speak. After the amount of time it took to get started and make my drink, she ended up getting the drinks completely wrong in the end. I do feel embarrassed to complain, but when a single drink is 6-7$ apiece, I feel it is important to have decent service and if not that, at least the correct orders. read more

Only come here because it's convenient to walk from my house but continuously disappointed. Store up fitted and expanded yet continues to be out of basic products, in spite of storing its goods in large shipping containers in the parking lot. And forget about service. NO cashiers with staff standing around chatting while watching customers check themselves out. Just what I need after working my 8 hours; to do their jobs. watched one employee carry the same coat hanger around the store the entire time I was there, pretending to work while texting on his phone. Pretty nice Target. This is a smaller location than most but still manage to carry a lot of items. Staff are pretty friendly and the photo workers are extremely helpful. This location has a Starbucks though it can be pretty slow and typically only has one worker. They're often low on inventory especially in the grocery area. As a side note, don't try shopping for groceries on a Saturday morning. Apparently, it's their favorite time to restock shelves and fill the isles with carts, boxes and people which are unpassable. The Starbucks do a nice job of keeping up with the flow of customers, even when busy. Most of the staff are very welcoming, friendly and polite, others can just seem to not want to be there. Prices are average for the area and their selection of food and beverages are typical of most Starbucks. Orders are always correct. There is plenty of seating inside the cafe both table and bar. Way parking lot parking outside. read more

This location is Meh, it's pretty good however the customer service is hit or miss. The selection is okay and the store is semi-clean and this includes the bathroom. I enjoy TarJay and all of the lovely clothing displays and hone decor displays. I find that this location lacks in those display departments with proper neat displays for apparel or well put together home decor set up. Honestly my biggest hang up is the customer service and the lack thereof. I'm a bit of a Fashionista so I really don't need their suggestions though they are super fun when and interesting when done right. Again this is not my choice Target it's just located conveniently and I happen to stumble in at times due to the location. read more

A friend tried to use the fitting rooms to try on a shirt and the old ladies standing at the fitting rooms literally said "No, it won't fit you. it's too small." So incredibly rude and discriminating and more than half the time the store is a mess. Go somewhere else. Would give a zero, but I can't. read more

Apparently people don't know how to drive when it comes to 4-way stop intersections since it always seems like I am facing some idiot that either is too impatient or too incompetent to be driving through here. So confused as to what is happening here. It looks like construction is happening on the outside. But the inside who is literally running the visual merchandising department??? You should be fired. I use to be a US Visual Manager. In no way shape or form should your store look like that. Entire front point of sale refrigerators are bare, entire frozen section areas bare, entire shelving areas in the grocery area bare, but yet you left toilet paper and paper towels double stacked so wide and high that only one cart can fit each way causing traffic jams.. The store jammed with xmas pj's in front and barron in certain obvious locations. It makes absolutely no sense. If you plan properly your customers would never notice and find second or third solutions. This is poor management, poor visual merchandising management, poor visual merchandisers, and lord knows the buying team could be struggling but at the end of the day it is the sole responsibility for the VM and management to say hey we got a job to do even if the buying sucks. I've been there, done that. This store should be embarrassed to say I work here. Very glad this is not my local target. read more

So I went to target today and bought some house hold things, but I also bought a card game that was discounted. Not paying attention I grabbed a Portugal version and bought it. In the car I looked at it and realized my mistake. I go back in to customer service to exchange it with something else. After 10 mins of scanning they tell me it's not in their system. I find that weird considering 30mins earlier their system let me pay for it. So since the couldn't scan it, they told me there was nothing they could do. I think it's a bit ridiculous they couldn't just exchange it considering I just bought it at their store. I went to the other target in stonecrest and they was more then helpful with my problem. I love target and shop there often. But their customer service was not helpful and didn't care about my problem. So I most likely won't return to the target in blakney. read more

Never thought I'd write a review about the quick-snack shop at Target! However, I went to target super hungry and let's be honest... going to a store hungry never works out. I decided to just grab a snack from the Target Snack Shop, which was right next to the Starbucks. I always get hesitant, but everything looked presentable and fresh. The young lady, Tae at the register was super sweet! She was welcoming and engaged in conversation. I go to target ALL the time and this was the first time that an employee smiled and really engaged in customer service without forcing them, if you get what I mean. Tae also suggested an additional add-on of the rice crispy cakes, and stated that they were pretty good cheat snack. She wasn't wrong about that. Those s'mores rice crispy cakes are amazing and they have a birthday cake favored rice crispy cake too! Thank you Tae for great customer service at the Target Food/Snack Court. Thank you to all the other employees we noticed were working hard as well. I'll take an extra ten minute drive to come to this target location more often. read more

As far as Targets go, this one wasn't bad. I was mostly checking out their board games and action figures and this store seemed to actually have stuff in stock and neatly organized. They also seemed to have cleared out older junk (unlike most Walmart and Toys R Us stores) and had everything clearly marked. They didn't seem to be any pricier than any other Target either (something that some retailers tend to do with stores in trendier areas. I only had to pick up a gift card and was glad to find almost no waiting in line on a Saturday afternoon. Quite a pleasant experience. read more

I am an avid target shopper, but never in my life will I step foot into this Target again. I was treated with more disrespect from the man who I was told was the night manager (I didn't see a name tag on him and if it was there I didn't get a good look). I'll paint you the picture: my sister and I went into Target to browse and to see if they had anything we needed last minute before the hurricane. We looked around at the food but they were lacking so we decided to head to see if they had any flashlights left, as we were walking that way, the manager comes up to us and gets in our faces and loudly asks if we are going to buy anything. I was honestly terrified so I told him yes and he proceeds to get closer and yells that we need to buy it and get out. My ended up sending my sister into the bathroom while I talked to one of the (very nice and helpful) associates. We definitely did not buy anything after that encounter. I still have no idea what we did to deserve this kind of treatment. We were dressed normally, there was definitely no reason to believe we were stealing, we weren't filming anything. JUST WALKING. I am 20 years old and work in retail and have never been more disrespected, terrified, and humiliated. Target used to be the place I would go when I was bored, or sad, or just felt like going but now I'm actually scared to go in one because I fear getting yelled at. Wow! W-O-W. This Target is my favorite in all of Charlotte - not because of its close proximity to my house (which it isn't), but because of something delicious that is sold there....Pizza Hut Pizza. I know you are probably thinking - ew! Mini Pizza Hut Pizzas in Target?? Yes. They are BY FAR my favorite thing to munch on while doing my weekly shopping. What could possibly be better than walking into a mob scene and being rewarded for your courage with a juicy, hot, fresh, mini pizza from The Hut?! I am constantly blown away with the fluffiness of the dough and the moisture held in the cheese melted PERFECTLY on top. Whenever I am not in the mood to be shopping around for everything in Target, I always think of the pizza and it helps me motivate to get to the store FAST and in time to grab one (and sometimes - if i'm lucky) - TWO hot pizzas.
