This target always has really good clearance deals. If you walk along the back wall in the front (where the pharmacy is) they put clearance items on the back endcaps. Right now they are also offering "Deal of The Day" which has allowed me to save around $20 a piece on different products that I have purchased for christmas for my family. They also had as of 12/15/11 many girls christmas dresses on clearance, girls coats, and boys sweaters. When you like target on facebook they constantly post specials only for their facebook friends. Free giftcards, coupons, ads, etc. The people that work at the store are very friendly and the store is clean. I'm a fan! read more

I don't live close to Cary so I don't frequent this location often. Ran in really quick to get a couple of items and found the store to be busy but manageable. Store was very organized and clean. Not a lot of registers open that time of night but the line moved swiftly. My cashier was very friendly and patient with me as I went through all my apps on my phone for discounts and coupons. Terrible, terrible inventory/supply chain management for their stock. I have almost never find the items listed as "aisle a#" on their app, and when searching on a staffs scanner, it is also not in stock in the back or on the shelves where they are supposed to be. This has happened to me so many times it's just more than frustrating. I had to opt to use shipping to home, which I do not prefer since I find boxes usage and the extra transportation a waste of energy, for God's sake it's just household items, not anything special. read more

I love target, as a mother and a teacher it is my happy place. This is the Target location I go to when I'm visiting my mother. Today's shopping experience was absolutely magical! I am one of those crazy teachers that gets super excited about the Dollarspot teacher items every summer. I had managed to get almost every item I was looking for and came back in today to see if the one thing I had not found was restocked. Giving a big shout out to AJ who works the Dollarspot. She noticed immediately I was looking for something and asked if I needed help. I told her and she knew exactly where they should be, and couldn't believe the ones she had put out were already gone. I always would go to this target but after my last visit I am left angry, disappointed and honestly a little targeted. I was simply going to the check out line to buy my items when an employee approaches me and asks me if i'm going to buy the makeup that I have stuffed in my pants. there was no makeup in my pants. I reply and go "what? this is the band on my pants, they fold over like this." I go to buy my items and she approaches me AGAIN and asks me to show her the banding of my pants!!!! literally makes me pull my pants down a little for her to see i'm not "stealing" she then asks me if i have anything in my purse i say "no but you can look if you need to" she opens my bag and rummages through it and finds a small lipgloss and asks me if i stole it. I repeatedly say "nope, this has always been in my bag! I got the lipgloss from sephora awhile ago!" she then lets me go and tells me to have a good day. I feel like I was targeted just because I am younger and i fell like it was completely Inappropriate for a target employee to be looking in my pants and my purse. read more

I have a complaint about the Pharmacy. I had a prescription for Percocet filled there. I was supposed to get 50 pills and only got 40. I called because I felt reporting it was the right thing to do. I told them upfront that I wasn't expecting to get the 10 I was missing back. They were very rude. They insisted their records were right and the mistake was mine. It was like they were treating me like a junky who was trying to get more pills, even though I specifically said I understood I couldn't. Someone at the Target Pharmacy is a thief. Worst customer service I've experienced in a while. Went to purchase an Amazon fire stick after seeing online it was in stock. Searched in electronics for 15+ minutes but was unable to locate it (it wasn't with the other steaming players) and there no employees working in the electronics Dept or nearby Dept to ask for assistance. As I was about to leave I noticed a target employee walk up to the register to check someone out. Wouldn't you know it, they were buying an Amazon fire stick. I said "I'm going that wasn't the last one in stock" and Anthony with a smile responded "yep, that was it." I mentioned I was searching for the fire stick for quite some time but nobody was around. Anthony then stated (again with a grin) "I was at lunch, not sure what you want from me." Unreal was the thought going through my head and I couldn't tell if he was serious or not, so I said "excuse me, what did you say" to which he replied, you shoulda asked somebody else for help. I haven't shopped at Target for 2+ years (for multiple reasons) but I can say unequivocally I will NEVER buy another thing from this location or any other Target. The cashiers are typically very friendly, there is one in particular who works the Express lane often that is so sweet. This location always seems to be understaffed, especially at the customer service desk where they handle returns and pickups. You can tell the employees are a little frustrated. They keep smiling and do their best, so it seems to me it's an upper management problem. This is a busy location and obviously customers are going to pick up and return during their lunch breaks, so maybe schedule a few more people at those times. I dunno. I only go to this Target when I have to. Other locations are faster and less frustrating. No disrespected to the employees at all. Someone at the corporate level needs to spend some time here. read more

Target as a company has always been great! However I must express my frustration with the pharmacy. The personnel are courteous but each one of my five attempts to fill a prescription have been massive failures in the past few months at Beaver Creek, crossroads, and Morrisville. Although the situations have varied, the pharmacy staff basically just do not have the prescription ready. Filling it on the spot still takes half an hour. Twice I asked to to transfer the prescription from the Morrisville location, resulting in waits upwards of an hour. First time I simply couldn't wait and went to a nearby supermarket instead. They had my phone number but did not call to tell me there were problems. I'd rather not take my business elsewhere but these experiences are extremely discouraging and time-consuming. read more

LUKE IS THE NICEST EMPLOYEE EVER!!! I was frantically looking for notebooks for school and noticed there weren't a ton on the shelves. I asked Luke if there were any notebooks elsewhere in the store and he noted that the website wasn't reflecting the stock properly and he had actually seen some notebooks in the back while working. After just a few minutes, he came back with a full on handful of notebook options for me, he brought multiple sizes and colors! It was the nicest thing and made my day!!! He went out of the way to help me and saved me a whole other shopping trip to find notebooks the night before class. It was so kind. It was honestly the best and most memorable and positive employee interaction I've ever had in any store! He definitely seems to care about helping the customers and his job. My wife and I were looking for a camera monitor and found a 7" VTech baby video monitor that was under a 50% off tag. So when we went to go and buy it, it didn't show up discounted. A manager I'm assuming was called over to help and told us it was the 5" and it was not on sale after she had scanned it. Even though it said this online, there must've been an issue with the barcode because it was in fact not the 5" but the 7" as indicated on the physical box. She proceeded to say "I'm sorry I can't take that big a hit on an item"(As if she's the founder of Target and the one actually taking the hit on a total of $75). Here's where things get confusing and kind of stupid. She told us she would go back and try and find the right one. She came back and brought us the same one but without the nightlight feature on it that was THE SAME EXACT PRICE(And that night light feature is pretty sweet btw). Plus, this was all after she said she could literally just override the price... So, I guess she just cared that much about winning the argument? Anyway. All to say, her attitude was not stellar... This review is in regards to the Target pharmacy at Crossroads Cary. When I first moved to the Renaissance Park neighborhood, I transferred my Target prescriptions to the smaller Garner Target (2700 Timber Drive - in the Kroger shopping center near Garner HS) due to location. I was not very happy with their pharmacy - they were very slow. I was so happy when I made the move to the Crossroads Target (Walnut St, Cary) pharmacy. They are fantastic. Even though they probably do four times the volume of customers, they are faster and have great customer service. Location wise, it is also convenient - there is so much to do in Crossroads - I find myself heading this way a lot more than I do down the Garner way. If you happen to live in Renaissance park - give this Target pharmacy your business. They do a great job. As a store it's a pretty solid Target too. read more

This Target is the best one in the Triangle Area. When there, I can pick up my perscription, grab some milk and find some cute new clothes (awesome clearance racks!). My only gripes with this Target are the traffic- it is in the dreaded Crossroads- and recently I've had a few issues with their new Clinic. It seemed like another great convience within Target but twice I've gone and not gotten a clear diagnosis or suggestions. Don't pay the copay- go to your own doctor. Wish Target had never switched over to have CVS as their pharmacy. It was soooo much better when it was Target pharmacy. You wait consistently on the phone for upwards of 45 mins for someone to even answer. They are constantly complaining that they are short staffed and over worked w covid vaccines flu vaccines and all the things. It takes forever to get prescriptions filled and like I said lord forbid you need to call for something. Had a new script recently and had questions, was told pharmacy was busy doing vaccines and would call me back and never did ! I had valid questions and ended up having to call a different pharmacy to even get my questions answered because I NEVER was even called back. Picked up script at 11 and went the entire day with no call back. Miss the Target Pharmacy and the way it used to be ! Those pharmacies Thomas etc they cared about you as a person. CVS = big co = no time to care= everyone seems like they hate their jobs = not good. You can fill out all the surveys you want which goes to the pharmacy manager there which does no good. This is a really big Target store in Crossroads. It's the biggest Target I've been in in the Raleigh area (is it the biggest?). With size, you do get selection. I've found a number of items here that are not in the one that is closest to me. This is a good place to shop for housewares and home storage type items, at least that seems to be what I buy the most of at Targets. Because of the location, this is also one of the busiest Targets that I've been to in the area. Weekends can be a madhouse. Plan accordingly ;-) read more

The cashier says there's no money on the card, you must have used it already (I didn't), and there's absolutely nothing that can be done about it. If this happens only once, well I guess anything is possible, but when it happens again, I'm getting suspicious that something is going on at Target to invalidate these gift cards. read more

I came to Target to buy 4 cans of Lotrimin. I had 4 manufacturer coupons printed from the Lotrimin site. I additionally added about 50.00 worth of other I hadn't planned on buying. I followed Target policy and the coupons policy. (Target only allows 4 coupons for the same product and Lotrimin only allows the same coupon to be used 4 times in one purchase). I get to the checkout, the coupon doesn't scan- Lotrimin coupons have a history of not scanning. In the past, clerks just over-rided it through. This clerk calls a low level manager over. Out of the kindness of his heart he allowed one coupon to go through. I called customer service from the parking lot. It seemed everything was ok and the customer service agent told me he couldn't do anything for me unless I was in the store. Luckily I was still in the parking lot. 35 minutes later, I still hadn't had anything accomplished but a 5.00 gift card which doesn't help for me purchasing the Lotrimin right now. I had to hand my phone over to the low level manager and waste minutes on my phone and time in my life. After all of this I was told that when a coupon doesn't ring, management doesn't have to take it. I wasted 35 minutes for that. So, now the Cary Target on Walnut St gets a bad Yelp review, gets blasted on my facebook page, I returned 50.00 worth of merchandise, and they lost another 20.00 with the lotrimin sale. I won't shop at this Target again, and as soon as my accumulated gift cards are used up, I won't shop Target again. I have been an avid Target shopper, have their debit card and spend several hundred a month there in groceries and other odd items. My question to Target, was this worth the 4.50 in coupon and the young manager self satisfaction in saying "no?" You lost a customer and in a tight market where you are not doing as well as you would like, was it worth it? read more

It seems like I can never find clothing items that I like here, but I have noticed that the jewelry aisle is a little larger. I've been coming to shop here since 2001 (I think the place was built in the late 90s?) and this is overall a decent Target and has kept up with the times. Always clean, and always friendly service. Everything is usually in decent stock. The grocery section was originally not that decent, but they've expanded that over the years and now even include fresh food. I do recommend. read more
