Wow. Still the sh1tt1est Target in Michigan. Now the woman working pickup decided to chastise a friend for not saying she was on the way. My friend was picking up groceries for her mom who was just diagnosed with cancer. Employees here are awful, I assume the management must be too. Said employee said "Hope you have a better day." Well maybe we'll all have a better day if you don't needlessly chastise customers. Also the Starbucks is understaffed and the drinks are subpar to be kind. Avoid. read more

Unfortunately I took my blackity black self to target on behalf of my partner requesting (3 $200) gift cards for associates. The person working at self checkout was fumbling over my gift card purchase, required me to purchase one on another order and ultimately did not load my gift card. I had the foresight to go to customer service to get my gift card balances checked and sure enough one was empty. "Luckily" the card with the $200 was retrieved. Barely no apology for my trouble was given and when I asked to speak to a manager was told there was nothing to be done for my troubles and received an ugly attitude and dismissive demeanor. It appears that maybe the associate is possibly stealing gift cards. Stay out of TARGET!!! read more

What a nice, modern and nr Came here to return that dud of a hair flat iron brush. It doesn't do as it claims at all. My hair was not less frizzy, it was still quite wavy too. It was the same as brushing my hair with a non-ion heat. It does get hot, but that was about it. Small section of CDs. I wasn't able to find any self-adhesive wall mount hangers for mops and other cleaning items. They had the plastic 3M ones only. read more

I came in for a pick up for guava goddess kombucha, the pickup girl was very nice but gave me lemon Berry and didn't even tell me. I wish I had the choice of alternate flavor. I got a few more things & the last 2 I needed were gift cards so I looked around at all the ones up front. There was one more I needed then I was good to go. I asked an employee hey can you help me find a $20 vbucks card who was at a register, omg- this young lady really told me she couldn't bc this was her department gesturing to the check out lanes. Maybe she was new idk but usually you have a name tag & walkie. I checked all the gift cards up front & there was only 7.99 vbucks cards where $20 ones had been slotted. I asked her again she said to go to back and check electronics. I didn't want to go all the way to the back. & Bc I have worked at Jackson target in the past i know people have walkies for situations like this. So I asked if there was anyone around w a walkie who could ask to bring me the gift card, she didn't know. I found 1 & Wow, like you would've thought I yelled or asked for something crazy, all I asked was for a gc to be ran up to me like they needed to be stocked anyways! I can't even tell you how many times I heard them repeat that I asked for it to be brought up to the front even after it was brought up. My mom lives near this Target so I hit it up regularly when I'm running errands by her house or coming to visit. It's a really solid Target with a great selection and stock. You know how some Targets have more than others? Well, this one's one of the good ones! (Although maybe that's not a good thing since I can't just go in and buy something small or simple, I'm too wooed by all the options they have!) They have a huge seasonal and housewares selection and a well stocked, clean, grocery section. They were early adopters for the self check out area and that section is efficient and the machines are always in good working order. I've done drive up delivery and in-store pick up here a couple of times and that's always been a breeze, too. Staff is fine. No particularly memorable interactions but that's not necessarily a bad thing. read more

... UPDATE . So , I went back into target a few weeks ago . To pick up a few things . I can not make this up . I walked over to the mask just browsing . A young Caucasian employee came right over next to me . He was so close we could've so danced !!! I said so loud " Can black people shop in peace ? " So , again I went over to the party supplies . Another Caucasian employee ( a woman ) comes over like she's stocking products . Does not ask if I need any help . Just follows me to whatever aisle I go to !!!!! I hate this target in the morning.. i think my biggest thing is they never have any registers open. I refuse to use the self scanners..those things take jobs and i don't work there so i don't want to scan and bag my own things. The lady at the returns and customer service line was super annoyed that i came to her line ( which is also a register with no belt). She kept saying u can do the self scanner!... like me she obviously didn't want to scan and bag all my crap lol! I told her i would pass which annoyed her more.. shes like it will be a bit of wait(which i didnt mind). One of the better Target stores in Southeast Michigan. It is always stocked and clean. I can always find everything I need from household items to groceries and many other goods. The cashiers are friendly and quickly get your order rung up so you can get on with your day versus waiting around in long lines. The prices are higher than Wal-Mart but worth it depending on what you are buying. Target's parking lot is well laid out with too many handicap spots. read more

I say 4 stars because even with holidays and being full they have multiple cashiers open and are still helping customers. Lovely staff! Everything is at good pace. But of course there could always be place for improvement like in employees who do wear masks not having it over there noses I know that now it's not mandatory but if your gonna wear the mask atleast have it cover your nose or don't wear them at all. read more

This is my usual Target (Tar-jzay). It is well stocked, roomy and spacious. Super clean and nice. They have nicely friendly and helpful checkout people and a Starbucks too. Handy. I can find my t-shirt style sheets here, mix and match able colors to boot. They have cool skincare and makeup brands you cannot find elsewhere, fun and cheap baubles, greeting cards, lamps and other décor, you name it. I like the fact that even though it is a bargain they have nice, usable quality stuff that actually has a bit of style too. I bought some glassware here for a party in a pinch and like it better than stemware I paid far more for. I always find what I need here. I am always happy. If you can make me happy I will be loyal no matter what. Good job Target. read more

I have been to several Target stores in Southeast Lower Michigan over the years, but by far, this is my all-time favorite. The store is very clean, neat, never crowded, and well organized. Moreover, the customer service is first-rate all the way, and are always helpful. The staff at this store really knows how to treat you well. read more

As far as product, it's a Target. The service I experienced was average, but I didn't really need any help - so that gives me no real gauge for the service. The parking lot is large, so there's often plenty of parking. Plus, they have a walkway between a couple of the isles so that you aren't worried about getting run over. It's relatively clean, and overall just as one would expect for a Target. I'm a fan of Target overall, so that likely contributes to the 4 stars. read more

I really like the store, and yes sometimes short staffed, but yet still friendly , however... don't ask the pharmacist a question ( the lady pharmacist with dark brown/black hair with iPod ear buds in ears) because she was so put out and bothered by me asking her a question as to where to locate medication. It's a Target. It has just about everything. Women seem to love this place. I guess I can say that I put up with it. The Canton Target is relatively new and brings with it the best of all that Target has to offer. What's bad with it? ... It has everything which generally leads to every to expensive trips where "everything" is purchased. They seem to thrive on the fact that they have lots of impulse items everywhere in the store. What's good? Their brands are inexpensive, but are of relatively good quality and even some are hip looking. They usually have a Starbuck's which always comes in handy. DVDs, CDs, clothes, sporting goods, pharmacy, ICEE's, seasonal goods, clean, bright lit stores, good prices. Target is not a favorite shopping destination of mine, but I guess they make many people happy and that's OK with me. read more

I frequent this Target a lot for little things that I need to run out and get. I haven't had any negative situations happen yet. I've shopped from registries, returned items, ate the pizza, had a Starbucks drink, used the fitting rooms... I feel like it's always clean and the cashiers are friendly. I recently got a Target Red Card. I never realized that it saves 5% every purchase! I could have saved a lot by now, but at least I got one sooner than later. Also using the Cartwheel app on your phone will save you even more. It's hard to walk into a Target in general and not get drawn to things you don't need, I don't know what makes it seem better than Wal-mart, Meijer, etc. but it just is. read more

Customer service is excellent (or is this the way supposed to be!?) I felt like everyone wanted to help me find what I was looking for. Compare to where I come from, this Target treats customers so well. Take that Queenz Target! So my meeting in Ypi ended early and need something for the house, this place was very convinient from the Willow airport. Parking is huge, easy to drive to (though if you are coming from west you need to make a u-turn, which was not a problem) The store seems to be stocking really well, and very organized. I'm just so used to the ghetto target from NYC that this place looked like a palace...seriously. No spilled milk? No open cat food? No open DVDs? No sample couch with crying kids eating pizza? Wow, this place is really nice. Anyways, so I got everything I was looking for in a record time. Thankyou Target Canton, you guys are one of the top Target I've been to in this country. read more

Target is one of the best stores around. You can pretty much find almost anything at a reasonable price. The stores are clean and inviting. It has been made better by the offerings of food items at the store. It is also not too hard to track down a target employee to assist you. There are days when it is a tough task. Who doesn't love Target? They Have everything I need to plan a party, or go Christmas shopping. The only downside I see is they don't have the best options for fresh food ( usually expiring soon, or just don't have it at all). I love my 5% off with my credit card, but you still pay a premium to shop at target over Walmart. read more

This store is on my way home I pass it everyday.Today finally, I stopped and shopped. It is very clean, well organized and well stocked. I found my hair products, my skincare products, household needs and the cutest pair of costume earrings on sale that I just couldn't pass up. The staff is very customer friendly oriented. From the first "May I help you find something" to "Did you find everything you need" to the "I can help you over here at this register, there's no waiting" made me a happy and returning shopper. I've had some not so great experience at other locations but decided to give target another go. I've had positive shopping experiences here and I prefer this Target over the Canton Ford road location. The customer service was especially gleaming, an employee named Rylee was very helpful and patient. Clean and well organized store. worst customer service ever. My husband and I were trying to obtain a Christmas tree topper. All they had left was the display. They were willing to sell it to us but wouldn't be able to remove it until the next morning. My husband goes back and the male Manager there that morning didn't want to sell it to us, made my husband wait an hour and told him they'd call him once they had it down. Called him and when he went to pick it up, THEY SOLD IT TO ANOTHER PERSON. The star even had a note on it with my husband's information stating we would return for it. on top of all that, they were rude, had no regards for customer satisfaction, and were just plain unhelpful. This seems to be a common theme among Target. They have great products but their customer service is terrible. The only helpful employees were a woman named Mary and a man working in electronics. Very nice staff, well stocked, plus it has a Starbucks. What's not to like about this Target. Very clean, friendly staff, have most of the items that I'm shopping for and the prices aren't bad either. They are getting ready to add a produce section which will be nice as well. My wife loves the Starbucks. My kid loves the toys. I just like getting out of here as fast as possible while spending as little as possible!! I did save a whole 5% by signing up for there little Target card. I think I got pimped as when my wife signed up for hers a while back she got a Target Visa. All I got was A Target card good only at Target. I called and they saids they no longer do the Visa card. This is not a review of the Canton Target on Michigan Ave. - For the record, this is my favorite Target in Michigan. Store is clean, customer service is efficient, this Target is great! My "review" is of their Starbucks. I'm not a fan of the over zealous proliferation of Starbucks everywhere and this particular Starbucks in a Target is exactly why. The girl barely made eye contact while she took my order. I realized she was working solo and I was there to kill time anyways, so I took a seat and waited patiently. No big deal. However, once her shift ended I proceeded to hear her ten minute monologue to the next employee who came on shift about the injustices of part time scheduling or whatever. Eventually things quieted down and I naively thought this was because she was busy making my coffee. Not so. She prepared my order and left it sitting on the counter! Thankfully the relief guy eventually noticed and brought me my drink - thank you, Sir! But really - if your job is to make hot coffee, would it kill you to at least make an effort to summon the customer before slinking off duty? Added bonus the tables in the seating area need a wipe down, there is a pile of various syrups sitting on a not-for-food-prep cart in the middle of the customer area and one table is consumed with paper products and merchandise in some state of "not ready for public consumption". The prep area is cluttered with mystery beverages and I'm willing to bet the area has not been properly sanitized as a result of this fact. I know I'm being pretty hard on the 18-year-old who took my order, but this is not acceptable. Starbucks Corporation - you have a good brand, don't let inept staffing sully it. read more

I have visited this Target store once a week to once every other week for the last 3.5 years since I moved to the area and the service has steadily declined. They hired many new employees, and I don't know what training they go through but the cashiers need better training. Most are polite, yet their bagging skills are nearly non-existent. As of today's experience, I am no longer a Target customer. The experience in of itself isn't that big of a deal, yet having a similar experience for a couple of years is. The cashier put two bags of Tostitos in a huge bag on the bottom and then put all of my non-grocery items on top. How is that ok? It's common sense to me not to do that, but it keeps happening. So once again, I had to re-bag my groceries. I purposely didn't tell the cashier or a manager about it at the time because I was so upset I would likely raise my voice, and I rarely get that mad. It's things like this that are absolutely annoying, unacceptable, and avoidable...and to top it off I just noticed I was charged for three bags of Tostitos when I bought two. Nice. Thanks, Target! Another example is a cashier who put three cereal boxes in one bag and then literally shoved a bag of chips into the same bag and ripped it. I didn't notice it until he was just about done shoving the bag in because I was putting other bags into the cart. If there wasn't a line of customers behind me, I would have asked him to have someone retrieve a new bag of chips. A third example is when a cashier put eggs in a bag with milk. Seriously? Some of the cashiers are so slow they put a turtle to shame, and others are too fast and are only focused on getting through the line. There needs to be more of a balance, with special attention on how and what to bag together. Yet another example is after a visit, I mistakenly reviewed the receipt when I arrived home instead of before I left the store, and noticed I was charged twice for a $16 item. So I returned to the store and went to the refunds lane where a cashier gave me a credit after I explained what happened. She didn't apologize for the inconvenience or for the mistake, though. This review is about the Target Replacement Protection Plan. My advice: BEWARE!! The reassuring words on the flyer say if your product breaks down, they will replace it! Or give you a gift card! We bought an Epson printer. Our first Epson. Supposed to print wifi. 1. st let down . We had to use a USB cable to get it to work right and not spend hours of our lives on the phones with Epson tech support. Then one day it just quit printing . After 3 phone calls, Epson sent a refurbished one. Never could get the software to download, kept saying "error", they want to send another printer! And target's warranty won't kick in until Epson is done! Meanwhile I have no printer. So I wouldn't waste the money! Even talking to Mike a supervisor gave no relief. Basically, the Target warranty is useless until September when the one year Epson warranty runs out. I need a printer before then! No thanks, Target! Your protection plan is not helping me!! read more
