Tiny store. Not impressed. It's like a slightly bigger Riteaid with a little bit of clothes. Won't go back to this location with no parking either. If in Brooklyn go to Junction location. Junction much better read more

While I'm excited and super glad that there is a new Target here, I'm mixed with the flow & the organization of the store. I hope it improves rather quickly. I did see a lot of employees on hand & for the most part it's clean and has good merchandise, however it's missing that Tar(je) experience that we are all used to. Hopefully it will work out the kinks soon. read more

At first having Target in the area seemed like a great idea. This is by far the worst target I've been to. No one is ever around if you need help. I needed help in the electronics section but there was no one around. I went to the front of the store where 2 employees were joking around. One completely ignored me even though I was looking at her as I asked for help and the other one was annoyed that I needed help. There were about 5-6 employees fooling around in the front of the store ignoring all of the customers. An employee was finally sent over to help who looked like he was in the middle of a task somewhere else in the store. I won't be returning to this store due to the lack of respect and the lack of professionalism the current staff has. I'll go out of my way and go to the Target in Atlantic Avenue. read more

Great addition on 18th avenue! Everything is organized so nicely, and the atmosphere is great. Stopped in here for a few things, and I was impressed. Friendly staff, and nice selection of items although it is a smaller target. Prices are great too read more

This 5 star review is for Jeannette. We were told by one staff member that the outdoor string lights we needed for our backyard party this evening were out of stock because they aren't seasonal. We were literally leaving the store when Jeannette, approached us with 4 different boxes of string lights in her arms and guided us to an out of the way shelf where the lights were. This is exemplary customer service!!! She is a most valuable team member. Target - you are lucky to have her. read more

Nice to have a Target in the area. It's not that big but it's a Target so I am happy. Love the self checkout service. Very convenient! Another place to browse and shop. Don't have to go too far now to shop at Target. read more

Worst Target in Brooklyn!! Mainly because of their terrible customer service. No one greets you when you walk through the door or literally anywhere else throughout the store. No "Do you need help with anything", nothing. And it's like pulling teeth getting help at self checkout & when you finally do, you aren't met with a smile but instead an annoyed, stink face. I wishhh I remembered the girl's name. If you don't like your job, quit..simple. Also, this place doesn't have anything. You're better off taking the trip to the Atlantic Mall Target, especially since that location is transformed & redesigned. This location should send their employees to customer service training or just close it all together because what a waste of space ‍ read more

The line was extremely long during peak hours since there are only 3 active cash registers. There should be 1-2 more kiosks that accept express checkout with 5 items or less. The selection is poor compared to a lot of other Target that I have visited. I guess they really don't have a lot of space for a wider selection of goods. However, so far this is the only good place where you can grab a variety of necessities for your house and family in Bensonhurst. read more

Very good location to pickup online orders when we are in brooklyn not as much as a selection to the targets we usually visit for shopping but its good for the location, but it could be very difficult getting a parking spot near this target. read more

Nice to have Target locally. Management needs to address employee's uniforms , as some of them were sagging their pants. Not a nice look at all. read more

I can't post without a rating, but they get a 0. Worst experience ever at this Target location. Shopping last minute is already stressful for the holidays, but to call the store to ensure that they have a product in stock before traveling from Valley Stream to hear when you get there they don't have the product just added to the frustration. Today was the first I ever heard about this location. After going to the Green Acres location and they didn't have the product they gave me a list of stores that has the products in stock. The gentleman suggested I call the store prior to going to ensure they have it. I called spoke to Sandra and she informed me they had the product in stock. I asked her is it the 2 or the 1, because the advertisement is for the 2 not the one. She asked me to wait for the second time and came back and stated, yes it's the two she's sure. I explained to her what happened at the Green Acres location and was given the wrong product for the same price. She reassured me, that isn't the case at this location. I took the trip there to be told it's the 1 they sell and not the 2. When I ask for Sandra, I was told she is coming (but she never came). After waiting, another lady walked up to me without telling me who she is or even apologizing for the misunderstanding, but blamed me for misinterpreting the information I received on the phone. I informed her I repeated myself 3 times on the phone and there was no misinterpretation on my part. When I informed her that I asked to speak to Sandra, she informed me that she's behind closed doors and she's the manager. That there is nothing she can do for the wrong information. I asked her to please write her name (and she refused) and when I asked her her name she stated Abi-Gail (the manager) with distain that I would even ask her name. When I asked her where was the breakdown in communication from one employee to the other to the customer, she walked away from me and started ringing up another customer; Leaving me standing there. As an executive officer oversee over 2500 employees, this was the worse form of customer service I've ever seen. read more

absolutely the worst target i have ever been to ! Extremely small compared to other targets and they dont have jacksh!t Always crowded and the checkout line is complete shit including customer service. This one time i was on line for self checkout and a target employee was yelling at everyone on line for "returns" instead of asking politely like seriously who hires these people ??? And when she came up to me to ask if i was returning anything she up and downed me with her eyes which i found absolutely disrespectful. read more

Terrible I was using a phone there and the staff told me to stop or they will have security escort me out.

this particular target mini store was once a movie theater then a ladies clothing store , the exterior foundation is a landmark so the old school movie theater decor is intact which is kinda cool . many smaller limited products target stores have popped up in the metro area for folks who cant make it to the burbs for the much larger target stores and they seem to be ok with that. i made a quick pit stop at this target in bensonhurst before meeting my fam for dinner at europa near by and its fairly limited in the clothing, food, homegoods, electronics, personal items, etc, but i was able to pick up a couple of things like snacks, dog food , lightbulbs and hand sanitizer gel. the self service checkout area was crowded as folks seem not to be in the mood to deal with a human when paying for their stuff but 3 cashier gals are just standing around waiting for customers and i better say hello and let one of them ring me up so i can leave and go eat . overall i think having a mini target store in bensonhurst is good for folks who live or visit the area. read more

Went today on Black Friday No Sales , think they forgot ? alot regular priced clothing why bother ..Go elsewhere Overpriced ...Rather shop at Telco ..3 blocks away read more

Much smaller target than others but take it or leave it. Im glad theres a target in bensonhurst. Easy access to things that other supermarkets don't carry. Easy self checkouts. Theres fresh fruit in the back. read more

Confusing layout, limited selection and crowded. There's no electronic section or pharmacy within the store. In summary, the Target name is misleading since it's nothing like the Targets people are used to. read more

Worse customer service ever!! I was so happy this opened, but even more disappointed with the horrible service. Cashiers didn't know what they we're doing, "team leader" extremely rude and unhelpful. Management needs to evaluate and hire people who want to work. Only person who tried to help was front manager. read more

I just returned from here after purchasing a mattress topper that from the outside appeared to be perfectly fine. (The box was not crumpled and nothing was sticking out etc.) 45 some minutes later, the boyfriend and I opened it to discover the cellophane was not tightly sealed around it and upon further unrolling it, was covered in hair. Like body hair. I returned it immediately. Like 20 minutes after returning home, that's how fast it took because we were so grossed out by it. The girl working self checkout was really sweet and sympathetic but the two managers, Liann and whoever need to get over themselves. Target is not an infallible entity and somewhere along the line, someone messed up on your end resulting in a customer who received a subpar product. Your store being new and the protesting of "a product being used beforehand doesn't make sense" when there is plenty of evidence to the contrary, shows an inability to take responsibility and control of a situation. For example, they didn't even try to look at the topper to verify my story. The fact that an exchange was the only option provided for this is truly pathetic. I inquired about store credit and it wasn't an option. I don't believe in the "customer is always right" mantra and I understand why bedding would not be suitable for a return for the most part, but 2 people put their heads together and essentially concluded the customer was wrong and wasting their time for bringing up what boils down to quality assurance issues. But hey, shout out to the girl working self checkout (I'm sorry I can't remember her name!). She was the only one who seemed to understand why I might be reluctant to take home the same, shitty product. read more

I was very excited about the Bensonhurst Target. Today was my first and last time going there. Not only are they overpriced with a limited selection of items, but the employees are downright nasty. read more

Finally went to this location and it's very small and doesn't have much. Kind of a disappointment but for emergencies is useful. After I checked out and was about to walk out the door the security guard randomly was checking people's receipts on how they look. He decided to check my receipt when he saw I was opening a snack which I paid for (as I was walking out) and didn't check other people after me, as I stood outside the door and watched him as he picked n chose who he asked. It's insulting because I'm a teacher and just because I am dressed in sweats and hat doesn't mean I'm going to take anything. But the dad with the baby behind me walked out without being checked as well as other people and is assumed to be doing the right thing. Point being....check everyone and be fair. I will never go back!!!!!!!! read more
