I love this Target! This is my go-to place for pick up orders. They are always on it with getting my online order done quickly. They also come out with your packages quickly. It is so appreciated when you have kids in car seats in the car! This is more of a Target Lite. Like a real Target, but only filled with the basics. I cannot remember what Target was like when I first started shopping there back in the early 90's, but this is what I imagine. A place for clothes, basic kitchen needs, garden tools, and the beauty area. Not a bad thing, just a shock when you are used to shopping at a Super Target for over a decade. Holy cow.. I went to this target and I swear this is the cleanest and the nicest people I have ever met.. you cant even put this store next to the one on bayshore because it doesn't hold a candle to it... there's always someone there to help you and when I say its clean I mean even the toy department is clean and everyone knows how that area can get with kids...lol but hands down this has got to be the best not only target but store ive ever walked into... amazing job guys keep up the great work... you all deserve a raise..... read more

This NEW Target is very disappointing, it just doesn't 'feel' like a Target (let alone a brand new one). It doesn't have that bright welcoming feeling instead feels almost dark and depressing. How did this take years to open when they don't seem to have changed anything from the original Kmart?. I Could get over this if it had a good selection of merchandise but it does not!! Loads of wasted floor space and half empty shelves. I almost gave up looking for the Xmas department and then found 2 shelves in the back corner:(. I also don't understand why so much space was given over to a Grocery dept when it's in a building that adjoins a Publix! NW Bradenton deserved better read more

I don't understand Florida, Florida politicians and Florida developers. I mean, I know the developers have politicians in their pockets, but you'd think because they're from this area At Least they'd want to make their neighborhoods appealing! Same goes for this Target, it's a piece of crap. The $$$ is here but we are stuck with something you'd get in the ghetto. I can say that because I'm Bronx born and raised. In fact, I think the Target in The Bronx has a better selection. It's ridiculous how I will Still have to drive down to UTC to feel like I'm shopping at a Real store. I love the Beachway target it's small yes but it has everything that I need and it's easy to get around. Besides, the staff are amazing. Always there to help you and it's very very clean which is important to me. read more

Clean store. Even has a small grocery area with fresh food and frozen food. Would have liked more choice in ladies clothing. Prices were good. A good location to shop on way to and from beaches. I recently visited the new Target in our neighborhood, and I have to say, I'm quite disappointed with its appearance. Given the store's relatively small footprint, I would have expected the design to be well-thought-out and appealing, but it's anything but. Instead of feeling like a modern, inviting retail space, the store feels cheap and poorly planned, with little attention paid to how it fits into the re-development of the surrounding area. Considering the limited size, this should have been an opportunity to create something functional and attractive, yet it stands out in all the wrong ways. The exterior is completely uninspired, which only seems to highlight the previously lackluster city planning of the area. Honestly, the design of this Target detracts from the neighborhood even more than the poor planning we've been dealing with for years. It's a real letdown, especially for a company that usually gets it right with its stores. I feel that Bradenton is positioned well to become a nicer place and start to move away from the cheap, strip-mall feel the town has mainly consisted of for years. However, Target getting away with this exterior design, in combination with the Five Below next door makes me feel that Bradenton still wants to remain the ugly stepchild of our nicer neighbors, and that is unfortunate for all of us that are invested here. read more

The new Target on Manatee Ave and 75th is the latest addition to the gateway to AMI. This is the old Kmart building that has been remodeled by Target. It has been open for a few months now I think. I had heard from a few that have been there that are locals were disappointed. So I finally went tonight to see for myself. First thing I noticed is the parking lot is large enough for a Super Target. Then when I walked in your eyes are drawn to the bare concrete floor with a high gloss finish. Can't say I am a fan as this is a refurbished floor from the old Kmart. The size of this Target is very small. Feels like just one level of a Target in Chicago. Well, I think if I need to go to Target I will make the drive to UTC. Maybe Target is Targeting a different client. Just didn't do much for me. read more

We all waited sooooooo long for this Target in Bradenton on Manatee Ave and 75th st to open! I was very excited to check it out and was hoping for that WOW factor when I walked in.... THAT didn't happen! What I noticed immediately was the OLD Kmart floor! Rather than replacing the old flooring, they just polished it! It's very distracting, a lot of patches where racks were taken out. This Target needs a better clothing buyer! The women's clothing section is small and empty and the clothes look cheap! Very disappointing to say the least! I didn't see anything cute. To be honest all of the clothing departments need help. Bring in nicer merchandise - this is NW Bradenton - The Hearth & Hand is a Target exclusive home brand created in collaboration with Magnolia by Chip & Joanna Gaines is pushed off in a back corner. It's not front and center like it should be, like it is in other Targets. As a whole, I honestly think this Target could be a lot better. I know it just opened, so hopefully they will continue to make improvements! I have to say, the Target at Bayshore and 41 is a lot nicer.... just saying. I LOVE this new location but it needs a lot of tweaks. read more
