Open Wednesday thru Saturday from 10 AM till 5 PM, this vintage (plus) shop is celebrating its 5-yr anniversary. Currently, there are 27 dealers; proprietor Love opened this business after her husband retired:) And it has thrived ever since. Not a huge antique mall (& w/ perhaps more non-vintage offerings than vintage), there are still good finds here providing vintage furniture is not your priority. Vintage includes the following: mid century modern odds & ends, Retro Kitchen, Rusty Relics, Eclectic, vintage costume jewelry, vintage clothing and accessories, & mid century, small Christmas decor, etc. None vintage categories include Fusion Mineral Paints & Finishes, Nautical & Coastal, Danish Modern, Shabby Chic and Farm House, Cottage, sterling & other artisan jewelry, artisan paintings, linens, glass art & jewelry, & beautifully crocheted clothing, etc. I'm positive I've omitted other offerings, but not intentionally. Mrs. Love, a native of Michigan w/ the accompanying accent, was very friendly as well as helpful. She has many years in the antique/vintage business. This clean & organized shoppe is in a small strip mall & offers plenty of parking. Will we return? It's likely. The shoppe offered far fewer antiques/vintage items than we would have liked to see. However, if we're in the mood to browse an interesting shoppe managed by a very nice woman, we'll definitely stop in again. And we'll bring cash; there's a 3% charge on every debit & credit card purchase. My companion was quite happy to locate a 1960's electrical blow mold Santa face (mint) inside its original box for under $35, & I picked up a pair of sterling baby blue glass earrings, as well as two very nice mid-century ornaments for $3.00 & $5.00. (The Christmas dealer has a year-round room here.) We recommend visiting this interesting shoppe-- who knows what you'll find! Four new dealers will be joining soon... read more

This was such a great find!! Super cute, nostalgic store. Not big but great finds. Loved shopping in the clean environment and ac! It is a small Antique mall that has many vendors with different wares. Found a new Betsy Johnson Santa necklace and wore it out of the store! Fun place I will be returning to again. Tip: they have special sales at times so call to see what they have coming up. read more

A little pricier than your local thrift store but it's well worth it for the unique items you'll find here! My favorite part to see is their little seasonal closet with a bunch of Christmas stuff - there's always vintagey looking things hidden in there. I always come to visit even if it's just to look :) read more

It is a very quaint local artist boutique. There is a variety of local artists of every type and style. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will work to find it for you or send you to another shop that may have what you are looking for. I always look to shop small and local. read more

Great selection of unique and amazing home items!! Must stop by when in Town!! Love love love love love!!

Great place to shop for one-of-kind items and collectibles. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. We keep coming back!

Blessed & Distressed is probably the best small business in the area. Everything in the store is beautiful and reasonably priced for its high-quality, but the thing that really sets it apart from other businesses is the woman who helped my daughter and I. I have been refinishing furniture for a few years, but am new to Fusion Mineral paint. She was so unbelievably helpful and absolutely wonderful with my 7-year-old daughter. She took the time to talk to my daughter and showed so much patience and kindness! I will be returning to Blessed & Distressed as often as possible. These are the small businesses that deserve as much community support as possible!!!!! read more

This place is cute! It has such unique furniture, jewelry, and home goods. Definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out.

Lovely place to shop for vintage antiques and furniture items. Probably the best in the Bradenton Sarasota area. Reasonable prices.

I have been in Blessed and Distressed multiple times but always come out empty handed. They have lots of cute items but they are way overpriced. Not worth the trip. read more

My mother and I visited Blessed & Distressed this afternoon. It is a wonderful mid sized shop. Lots to look at and a wonderful variety of vintage furniture, dishes, art, textiles, light fixtures, etc. I thought the pricing was very fair on most items. They did have a few "highly collectible" or rare finds that were pricey, but deservedly so. I would definitely visit this store again. read more

this is a great store. the owner is super friendly and helpful. I needed a paint brush and she did her best to contact the woman that sells Dixie Belle. She even gave me advice on speakers that are her sound system. The prices are good, it's super clean, well laid out. Lots and lots of goodies from furniture to nic nacs and even clothes. Bradenton is blessed to have such a nice store. read more
