I was shocked to read the negative reviews of this store. I have shopped there for over 15 years and have always had a good experience. Kelly, her mom and all I have encountered in the store couldn't be more helpful and creative. Their prices are competitive and they always have sale items. We bought a headboard for our bed from them and when they delivered to our rental home they did a pretty good number on our house and scratched the floors. My wife contacted them as soon as we found out. The owner not only claimed they absolutely didn't do it, which I would expect, but also then demanded proof about damage. When my wife supplied pictures, the owner questioned if the pictures were genuine and demanded a time stamp picture, which we supplied. When I called to follow up not only did the owner not call me back (for over a week), but when I called back to reach him he was immediatly very defensive and didn't let me speak. He said someone else was supposed to call me back. He kept interrupting me and even after I asked him to let me speak and make my point, he got upset and kept talking over me. While this may be a small commercial dispute ($100) to get the floor repaired, I would warn others not to deal with this company. It is easy to be nice when you are trying to sell something, but If they do not take care of small items and are super aggressive when you have a problem, I am not sure you want to deal with people like this. It was clear to me that they created the problem, but even though we disagree, how can they be trusted to handle a large order if they act like this over a small item. There was no offer to settle, no offer for a discount if we bought something. Nothing but that we were wrong. The owner told me that my rental company volunteered to credit me for the repair, but the rental company didn't create this damage. It was not not their responsibility. It is Pink Pineapple who did the damage. Obviously, we will never shop there again. Shoppers beware. read more

my wife and went to Pink Pineapple (PP) in early January searching for two couches and two swivel recliners. The store has a nice, though chaotic selection and we quickly found a couch and a recliner we liked and were prepared to place an order. After we'd selected our colors and placed the order, the salesperson whom I believe is the owner advised us the recliner was not available in the color we had selected, it had been discontinued. Thid was our first disappointment. I feel PP failed us by not deleting unavailable colors from the brochire. So we ordered two couches on January 7 and were told 8-10 weeks till delivery. Near the end of February I called to inquire about delivery and was told they would ship March 24, meaning delivery would be 2-3 weeks later than expected. I let that go even though we should have received an update from PP I called in late March to inquire and was told the fabric we had selected had been back ordered. This really blew my mind. We should have been advised this when we placed the order. I know this is outside control of PP but their supplier should have notified them and I believe they did but PP dropped the ball. On April 7 we received a call telling us the couches were to be delivered on April 24. Good, but confusing news given what we'd been told two weeks earlier. However, we had plans to be out of the country from April 24-May13 and would be unable to accept delivery that day. We agreed we would call to arrange delivery when we returned home. On May 14 my wife called to schedule delivery and were told they had cancelled the order. PP CLAIMS we cancelled it which is ludicrous after waiting so long. I'm beyond disappointed and appalled at their inefficiency. read more

Beautiful selection of furniture. Especially for a coastal vibe. A lot of unique pieces you don't find elsewhere. Kelly the owner was ver helpful and patient helping me find multiple pieces for our new ocean front condo. Had our bed custom made there and it turned out beautiful. Delivery guys are awesome. Prices vary from reasonable to pricy but it's a furniture store and there's a lot of variables that go into pricing. I will definitely be returning. Love that store! read more

We purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture for our rental home here on the island. The woman who owns this store is an absolute nightmare of a woman. She needs to sell this store and rethink her life decisions of owning a business. We had a couch that literally fell apart on the inside (the cushions split in half) and they refused to warranty it because "it was in a rental house" and if it weren't in said house, they would warranty it. This place is a joke. They have a good amount of inventory but they REALLY need to rethink their policies. read more

There are lots of nice things, but nothing that couldn't be found elsewhere at a much better price. The prices are so high it's almost ridiculous. I actually wondered if they really wanted to sell anything or if they just wanted people to, I don't know, come in and walk around to get out of the heat? I was able to find similar quality items at Home Goods for a fraction of the price! A wooden decorative tray for $99? A small fake plant for $79? And those were the least expensive items in the entire store! read more

Snobby and rude. Zero interest in helping me even though I am a previous customer that spent over $7k.

We spent about 50 thousand dollars on furniture! No discount!! Ripped our heads off! After about 6 months I saw a nice chair I'd like and asked if they would consider taking A chair back....(back for a trade!) I didn't expect much for the used ...furniture! ( it was hardly ever sat in and no one could see it was used! People do sit before they buy after all... in store inventory! It's furniture!! The owners son in law was immediately put on the defense ... Rather than saying let me see what I can do! As a former new car dealer.. I'm more aggressive than some... And always try to be accommodating ! He could have made money off this rather than upset a good customer! So here's the advice: Beautiful furniture and store ... but just furniture! Get everything picked out before buying ... than make offer! At that point they had their work done and you ( customer are in the drivers seat!) be ready to walk... if necessary! Get something off ....furnitures got a high mark up 50 to 100%! ASK FOR A MINIMUM OF 10% OFF!! The owner also said if I do for you I need to for everyone! Yes be gracious to all customers!! To be clear they sold us a warped desk and its now on the floor being sold as new... so much for not putting used merchandise back on the floor... here's the pictures of our old warped desk... something they supposedly don't do? My husband and I recently purchased a large home and we need to furnish it. I had always been curious about The Pink Pineapple. so we went to check it out. We were the only customers in the store. We walked around for some time and saw several things that we were interested in; however, no one came over to us to greet us or offer to help. We won't be going back. My mom in law had ordered a furniture set from the pink pineapple, but wanted to have them come out and measure to make sure all would fit. She called and was told they wild call back the next day. Nothing for a week. She called on that Tuesday and was told someone would get back to her on at Thursday. This is Saturday and no word. They lost a sale. read more

Steer clear of this furniture store! Months after ordering our furniture (and it was not cheap!), it finally arrives. The pillows on the sofa were incorrect. I was told to pay in full with no resolution. They asked us if we wanted to pay the balance by check or credit card. We had used a credit card in-store for the deposit. I gave the delivery drivers a check only to find out two days later they had charged my original credit card the balance as well as cashed the check! Very dishonest...not to mention their customer service is horrible. read more

There are plenty of furniture stores in the area and I would recommend using one of them first. My husband and I ordered an expensive chair on January 3rd promised by the beginning of March. There have been nothing but excuses as to why I still won't have it delivered to my home by the end of April. We are snowbirds and would like to go back home but are captive to this chair. Why would someone wait as they've asked till next season for something they ordered in January?! My phone calls are always headed off with "let me look into this and call you back" each time these people pretend to be hearing from me for the first time when in reality they personally have spoken to me before over this issue. Aside from the problem I must say that their personality in dealing with me is "sour". They definitely lack in good customer service. We have purchased plenty of furniture in our lifetime and this is the worst! read more
