This location is much bigger than the one closer to my house, and much safer. Clearwater and Tampa's location are opening next weekend May 21st. They took over many of the Big Lots stores.

(I'm looking at you, red door with stained glass that I've been thinking about since leaving ) This is *the* place to go if you're looking for "that" piece you need to fill a space or even if you're missing a piece from something old and antique! They have millions of old doorknobs, old stained glass windows, lighting fixtures (both interior and exterior), tons of random lumber (need a replacement piece for your original hardwood floors? Every time I have shopped here the store has a great layout and is well organized. I especially like to shop the wall decor and I have bought really nice greeting cards and gift items from here before. Check out the furnishings which are sourced from all over. You might find something you were looking for--or discover something you didn't know you wanted or needed! Most of the items there have no pricing because they have 7 different prices based on who you are, or if you are wearing a Rolex or not. Last week we had lunch downtown and found a delightful store on Central Ave called Sarasota Collection. We walked in and met Marcus, the owner of the store, who was charming as well as totally informative and willing to help. My wife and walked out of the store several hours later having ordered a complete living room set of designer chairs, bar stools and a patio set for poolside events. We could not have been happier to have supported a "local".
