They have very similar sections of other similar stores with clothing, housewares, beauty and health, purses, shoes and jewelry. I have found they have a higher quality item that I really like. We have bought some housewares and clothes and found them great. They also have interesting items for holidays and specialties! I do recommend TJ Maxx and will definitely be back. Service has been great and there hasn't been the long lines like other stores.

Some days the staff is friendly and inviting, while other days they are short with their answers to the point they are rude when speaking to you. Once on a recent visit, 3-4 employees were taking up so much space with racks to restock (buggies or rolling racks both in the aisles and walk ways), no one could get through. They didn't notice because they were talking about their plans after work. With a few attempts from me and other guests failing, I had to find a new path to my destination. This isn't a one off thing. It happens more times than not while visiting this store. As for cleanliness, it is about the same. Not talking about having rolling racks out for restock here. It looks as though no one is sweeping/vacuuming for weeks or longer when you see the dust and debris pilled up. They have an excellent variety of shoes, clothing, and housewares, and the children's section is always on point. There are so many other fun finds throughout the store too. It's in a great location near the beach area, and even though there's a Marshalls closer to where I live in Palmetto, I will gladly drive out of my way to shop at this one. I always find something here, and the inventory is consistently fantastic.

What impressed me the most was her level of engagement and initiative. I placed an online order for a 43" Roku tv. I set it up for "drive-up" pickup. When I arrived the…read moreemployee placed the tv in the backseat area of my car. At this time I noticed the tv was a 40" Roku tv instead of the 43" Roku tv I ordered and paid for. When I showed the employee that it was the wrong item he told me they were all out of the 43" tv's so sometimes they make substitutions. I told him the tv I bought was larger and more expensive and making a substitution wasn't an option especially since I paid more for the 43" tv. At this time he told me I needed to come inside to return the tv. This totally defeated the reason why I chose to purchase a tv online and have it ready for pickup in the drive-up area. Once inside I was given a refund and told the tv had the wrong barcode sticker on it. The employees really didn't seem to care about the situation. I checked the Target website later and the tv was placed back into their inventory and incorrectly listed as a 43" tv. Complete incompetence from Target! FYI this is the second time I've experienced a problem with buying a tv from Target so I definitely know better now.
