OK, so this is the dollar tree we are talking about! Sometimes when rating a place you have to…read moreconsider where you are. I give this location a solid three stars! The shelves always seem to be a little low on stock. However, every time I am in there, they have several people restocking shelves. I like that they have a broad selection of items from skin care, cosmetics, toys, for kids, and a lot of Christmas supplies! Now the quality of some of these things can really depend on what you're buying. About a week ago about wrapping paper, bows, tape and scissors. The wrapping paper is thin and you do have to be delicate when wrapping your gifts but let me tell you I was able to make them look like $1 million Dollars! I bought some cleaning supplies today and I was very pleased with how they worked out. Also, there are several skincare items I like to purchase there including cleansers I really stocked up today. The staff that work here meanwhile they really do. But Lord only knows what kind of characters they come into contact with every single day. I do try to make brief pleasant conversation and they are always nice. I definitely recommend this place.

How much does that cost? 1$…read more.. That's everything. Well, almost. Some things are actually LESS than a dollar, but we're not going to split hairs here. This place is great for consumables and seasonal tchotchkes. Need a shower liner but don't want to pay out the nose, this is the place. Dish towels, glassware, plastic serving platters, hair ties, simple household cleaners, shower squeegee - stuff like that. For the seasonal stuff, there's no better place for wrapping paper, tape & labels. Hands down the best bargain around for this. They also sell Mylar balloons for birthdays and other holidays which, at 1$, undercuts anyone around. Get your balloons here for your next celebration! Know this though: at 1$ you get what you pay for. These are mostly consumable items and by definition not meant to last.

I was in the area and took the opportunity to stop by to check it out. I bought a couple of cute Sanrio hair clip and of course I couldn't resist buying a bag of chips! Environment I really love the store it is very bright and organized. There is a lot of items there just like how it is in Japan. This is located in a plaza so there is plenty of parking, no need to worry about no parking available. Niceness of the staff Very nice staff. Though I did the self checkout, there were people there helping as you need Dollar Very disappointed that it wasn't Japan Daiso pricing (that I am used to).. but I think even now in Japan Daiso there is a wide variety of pricing too... The min was $2.25.. so that's more than a dollar... Yes I would recommend to others, they have a lot of interesting things.

Right when I walked in, I was met with rows of colorful, unique snacks, anime-themed drinks, and aisle after aisle of little "I didn't know I needed this" finds, because I picked up items like "yea, you can use this" lol. Whether you're stocking up on stationery, picking out cute gift bags, or just grabbing a quick treat, you'll definitely walk out with more than you planned.... I know I didn't regret it! Standouts from my trip: * The snack selection: Shrimp chips, sodas, unique ramen, and even Jack Links Flamin' Hot! * The conversion chart made it super easy to understand pricing...no surprises there, although some reviewers stated they had difficulty. * Store was clean, bright, and organized, which made browsing actually enjoyable... **PET PEEVE: An unorganized, out of order store** I can already see this becoming my "lemme run in real quick" spot that turns into a 45-minute haul, when I'm on that side of town... a little out the way, but hey‍. Cute, clean, and affordable...I'll definitely be back.

You really have to pay attention to what you're doing and going through, and potentially going to buy. For example, Taped up boxes may not be what they seem, so you have to ask to open them (you can't open them yourself. There's a station you take it to and an employee inboxes it). Hotbins has specific dollar days where on Saturday "everything you buy is ten dollars an item" and Wednesday is "everything you buy is two dollars an item". Put 10 items in your cart (they have shopping carts and the Ikea big blue bag for your stuff) on a Friday, you're walking out the door paying $120 plus tax. There are items "priced as marked" and it can range in product. For instance, smart device charging cables were marked as $6 a cable (USB-C to Lightning, USB to Lightning, USB-C to USB, old style USB to whatever. Charging bricks I think were $6 too). There are bigger items marked as more or less than that days' discount (clothes, fragrances). I didn't catch the pricing on those, as it wasn't something I went over to look at. One challenge is, this store has stuff that is readily available at the dollar store (for example, I saw a twelve pack of Elmers Glue Sticks unopened. Going in on Saturday, I wasn't about to buy that for $10 when the Dollar Tree has the same package for 1.25 plus tax). Why spend over five dollars on a single item that you know you can get for a lower cost at another store and not on a discount? Yes, HotBins is a store of returns: Amazon, Target, Costco, etc. So it's possible twelve or ten dollars is well worth the expenditure if it's a big ticket item (an Amazon Echo Show holder for less than retail price? Sure, if you already have the Echo Show and want the holder), but even at the two dollar mark on Wednesday, there is still a possibility of paying more for the item than necessary. Again, you might be able to get a single $100 retail item for at least 75% off or more. So if it's something huge, you're getting a deal. BUT.. by mid week, it's slim pickings - store is closed on Thursday to restock the bins as they're open Friday to Wednesday. To reiterate the taping of the bosses: majority of the items are sealed and resealed. You must go to customer service to ask to see what it is, as the box description may not always match the item. The workers are more than happy to assist, and ask you don't open the boxes yourselves. If it's not something you want, they will repackage the item and put it back in a bin for someone else to pick up and ask. Overall, the store was clean and well lit. Music was on and not completely loud or in your face. Unfortunately I don't think I'd be back as I found it to be not a really great deal on the day I went.
