The staff here was extremely friendly I'm sure a lot of the customers are locals that frequently stop in by the sounds of the laughter and the conversations going on as they checked out. I got a laugh after seeing a small section marked "scratch and dent", theses items were marked up to 50% off, these are a variety of items that are a little bruised or ripe to the point you'd want to use them right away. I was hoping to see a cow, a horse, a pig or a chicken but I guess they were all working out in the fields like most farms everyone has to pull their weight. I love the fresh pita bread and hummus options from Friends LLC. The Pickle Patch has some of the best pickled carrots, pickled okra, dill pickles. Swanson Soapworks has some of the best body scrubs, solid shampoo and soaps. Come Under the Yum Tree has some of the best produce. I bought some incredible oranges, lemons, limes, plums, cucumbers. They have samples of certain fruits of melons and citrus fruits.

Even though it was an hour drive for us it was well worth traveling there. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pony rides which were $6/child, holding a piglet which was $7/child, the hay ride ($2/seated person), the circus entertainment (free), feeding the goats ($1/cup of food) and enjoying a picnic with food for lunch. There was also live music to enjoy. The food we had was smoked turkey legs ($15 and very large... 2 of us shared one), BBQ sandwich with French fries ($12) and delicious freshly made lemonade with strawberries ($7) and some water bottles ($3 each). Other than the water bottles being a bit pricey, the other food was good and reasonably priced for these kinds of events. There was so much more we could have enjoyed but our young ones tired out with the heat of the day. We did not get a chance to see the many small tents full of crafts, the playground, the butterfly area, the train ride (appropriate for very young kids) and probably so much more we did not know about. There was an area for older kids that had activities such as a zipline, climbing wall, inflatable slides and tunnels which were additional costs ranging from $12-$20. $40 for a band that included all of those activities. The pumpkin area at the front was beautifully arranged and there were plenty of pumpkins to choose from. Pie pumpkins were $5 and carvable pumpkins were $0.90/lb. They also had heirloom pumpkins for a bit more/lb. There were so many areas throughout the farm for photo opportunities. It was really well done. All of the people working there were great and parking was very organized. I expect we will return next year. It was a fun outing.

Our kids especially loved walking our friend's dog around the market, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. We also found a great pet vendor and picked up some treats. The food vendors were all really strong. The empanada truck was delicious, we tried pink pineapple for the first time, and we also had some guacamole and chips that were definitely pricey but absolutely worth it. There's a huge variety of vendors, and we barely got through a fraction of them. I'd love to go back on an empty stomach next time and really explore everything properly. If we lived nearby, I could easily see this becoming a regular weekend stop.

Tents were lined up, colorful rectangles against the blue sky, each hiding some promise, some deception. I saw faces, so many faces, young and old, etched with the same happy hope. They were browsing, touching, smelling, as if the secret to life could be found in a tomato or a piece of jewelry. ​I saw a couple sitting on a bench, the man looking off into the distance, the woman beside him lost in her own thoughts. They were together, yet entirely alone. A mother pushed a stroller, the child inside unaware of the chaos around them. People were gathered near the water's edge, as if drawn by some primal instinct, hoping to find a reflection of themselves in the vastness. ​They sold things, useless things mostly. Trinkets, paintings, clothes. Food that smelled good but tasted like disappointment. It was a carnival of mediocrity, a parade of the mundane, yet, there was a strange beauty in it. Perhaps it was in the way the light caught the water, in the way the clouds drifted across the sky, in the very persistence of these people, searching for meaning in a meaningless world. ​I bought a mango from a stall. It was sweet, too sweet, and sticky. I ate it, the juice running down my chin, and I thought about how we try to sweeten the bitter taste of existence. We build these markets, these little islands of commerce and community, as if they could save us from the void. But the void is always there, waiting, just beyond the last tent. ​So I walked on, past the WP3 building, past the string lights, past the laughter and the chatter. I walked until the market was a distant hum, until I was alone again with my thoughts, with the sun, with the palm trees, and with the knowledge that in the end, we are all just strangers passing through, looking for a little bit of happinessand shade.
