I can't say enough about my experience in finding "the dress". I went to another dress shop in…read moreSarasota which was around the corner from Camilyn Beth. I told her I needed a mother of the groom gown and she suggested I go to Camilyn Beth. She only sold bride gowns. So I walked around the corner and found myself at Camilyn Beth. She asked me what I was looking for and then pulled three gowns off the rack. I only went as far as gown number 2 and found what I was looking for. I wanted a classic style gown in a deep blue. Preferable a comfortable fabric that gave and didn't wrinkle very easily since I would be folding it up to take it on a carry-on to NJ. The gown was altered perfectly and the communication with the proprietor was excellent! I couldn't have found the most perfect gown. If you don't know already, these gowns are design by Camilyn Beth. Her fabrics are wisely chosen for ease of wearing and the designs are simple elegance. When I was in my 20s I would call it a "smart" looking dress because it was something Jackie O or Hepburn would wear. My tastes have always been classic, simple and comfortable, so this gown was perfect for me. All I have to say to Camilyn Beth is bravo! You hit fashion on the nail when it comes to classic elegance. I shall see you again at your new shop one day!

The ability to have pieces custom tailored as I try them on is definitely in my top 10 life experiences to date...and I have been to Maui multiple times. In addition to her fabulous one of a kind designs, I love her commitment to celebrating local in all ways. And seeing the studio decked out for the holidays this past weekend was such a treat!

A much over due review since its places like this where the encounter was so horrific that to even…read morescratch the surface of how demoralizing and horrific the it actually was , would take a great deal of time which i can't afford to waste on such a low life vintage proprieter , i was visiting florida from Ca, and Popped into Canned Ham to take a quick look , it's been a few years but ill never forget how horribly i was treated , & I'd never go back if she was giving her clothes that people died in away for free!!! Why there aren't more negative reviews is beyond me , after shlepping several heavy bags of items in (everything in the world was telling me not to waste my time , why i didn't listen ? NEVER again when i get a bad feeling ,listen to your gut, it doesn't lie ) this owner acts like she's curing cancer or doing something important , with her pretentious crappy attitude , bragging and bragging about what a great buyer she was , then she ends up buying 1 belt and chiseling me down to nothing while continuing to brag more about herself , what a complete scary narcissist , all full of herself , individuals who do nothing but brag , scare the F out of me , don't they realize it's just used clothes & it doesn't give them any right to treat others so rude and disrespectfully , Well KARMA always serves exactly what these individuals deserve & im sure she loses plenty of business with her crappy attitude and overpriced shmata's , not to mention how classless she is when it come to treating another vintage clothing dealer with some sort of dignity and respect , didn't even have the civilness to help me carry the bags in !!! Hope she's able to fit all her crap in the uhaul behind the hearse when she's leaving this planet since it seems very important to her , what a pathetic owner and an even more pathetic shopping experience !!! And it smelled horrible in the shop like old stale canned ham , what a joke of a shop & joke of an owner ,
