No contest... this business has absolutely the BEST customer service I have ever experienced! I recently had the pleasure of working with Kelsi, a customer service representative, who graciously went out of her way to bring a positive resolution to a transaction that I was not satisfied with. This included emailing images of similar items for exchange and regular dialogue concerning my purchase. The time and effort devoted to my satisfaction convinced me that this is a business that aims to please. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Fostering good customer relations is a rarity among businesses these days, and so TGTG has proven to be one I will buy from again, as well as recommend highly to all my friends. read more

My husband and I visited New Orleans for our anniversary in 2015. We walked the art district and found a gallery for Nautical Wood Maps. When I got home I went online and noticed they had all kinds of lakes and areas. My in-laws live on Lake Ray Hubbard, but I did not see that specific lake on their site. I emailed them a few times over the years, wondering if/when they would ever have the map. A few days ago I received an email from them titled 'Don't mess with Texas' and I fluttered! Sure thing, they had made the map of Lake Ray Hubbard just as I requested! Of course, I ordered right away and received the map just yesterday. Today, I received an email from their customer service letting me know the map was available. What excellent service and follow-up all for a potential customer. The map is beautiful, and I am excited for them to open it for Christmas! If you are considering purchasing something from this place, I highly recommend! Just wonderful!!! :) read more

Online purchase. The woman who took my order was friendly, professional, and efficient. Needed the item ASAP and she recommended the best way to ship. They shipped it out immediately USPS Express Overnight. I received the item a day later than the USPS promised, but I still got it in time for the occasion I needed it for. Even though it was no fault of The Giving Tree Gallery, they refunded the entire shipping cost. Feels like a class act all around. read more

The shop is using "The Giving Tree Gallery" now. It still has a large percentage of gorgeous wood crafted items -- small to large wooden boxes, pill boxes, sculpture, mirrors and wall clocks, all in exotic and varied woods -- but it also has small crafts, ceramics and unusual and different jewellry, items I haven't seen anywhere else. They have some beautiful brushed stainless and sea glass necklaces and earrings, sparkly earrings by someone named Holly Yashi, and a whole line of necklaces, bracelets and earrings by Patricia Locke, whose work reminds me of a Gustav Klimt painting. And the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and patient, but can get a tad overwhelmed when it's busy. read more

I've never physically been inside The Giving Tree, however they recently helped me with a transaction involving a 3rd party company who would only deal with their own vendors, not directly with the customer. At first I thought this was a little annoying, but I'm so happy that I ended up corresponding with the team at The Giving Tree, who were nothing but patient and courteous with me. Should I ever be near the store I'll definitely make sure to stop by and say thank you in person. read more
