Every so often I like to get out to Ellenton mall and shop around especially before it gets too hot outside here in Florida. We visited on a Saturday. It was pretty busy but we managed to stop at the stores we wanted like children's place and Victoria's Secret etc. they have a wide selection of name brand stores and also had a cute boutique that was going out of business they had some really nice beaded purses and clothing for sale. Overall, Ellenton premium outlets is a nice place to shop and has good prices definitely a better deal than your average mall. read more

Haven't visited in a while. It is showing its age, but it's ok, that happens. We liked walking here with our dog. There's lots of shade and grassy areas. Although the grass is not in the best shape which is understandable with the winter. Some of the stores here that grab our attention are old navy, puma, adidas, Nike. Mostly for my husband. Many of the stores are the same as the ones at Tampa Premium Outlet which I'm there all the time, but this store also has a lot of other stores that they don't have. We unfortunately did not see any good sales, so we didn't buy anything, which is fine. It was just nice to have a good walk in the shade with our fur baby. read more

This was a huge outdoor mall. With so many stores. It had everything including Crocs, Boxlunch, Hot topic, Spencer's, Starbucks, and many more. It was really clean and not crowded. But I did go during the week. We had great service everywhere we went. Also I thought there was a lot of discount stuff since it wasn't that crowded. I definitely recommend this outdoor mall plus there was plenty of parking. A great place to get together with friends or family or just a nice outing in the evening when it's not too hot. Great value definitely can't complain. When I'm in the area, I would definitely come back here. read more

It has become tired and worn. It's wasn't the same great shopping experience that I remember from yesteryear. Some of my favorite stores are no longer there. I still don't see many food options. That has always been a problem. The only advantage over other outlet malls in the area is that they have a huge Victoria's Secret Outlet. It's great if you're looking for activewear and lingerie. There was also a Zarzis Olive Oil shop. That seemed new to me. Other than that, it just didn't excite me as much as it did in the past. I think the only really good deals I could find were at Lucky Brand Jeans and Victoria's Secret. Even Skechers was a let down, and I love their shoes. It was buy one and get the 2nd pair of shoes at 50% off. That's not a good deal if you only want to buy one. I've seen better prices online. I will say that shopping at the Columbia Factory Store is great if you're looking for heavy winter coats and ski outfits. The international shoppers that I encountered seemed very pleased with it all. It's just something to consider if you're taking a trip up north. read more

Well I had High Hopes for this place but I will never walk through this place again. Start off with the parking. It's simply not enough. We drove around for a while, there was no handicap parking available at all. What they did have was parking right next to the handicap parking, they literally took away half the handicap parking and they turned it into pay to parking spots. Ridiculous. The inside of the place was crowded and ridiculous. I walked around for a little bit and didn't see any bathrooms. It was crowded and aggravating and we left before we spent any money which is kind of sad because I came to spend a lot of money. read more

We visited this outlet while in the St Petersburg/Tampa area. The selection of stores is actually decent. You will find designer brands such as Nike, Victoria Secret, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, and Nautica. It is not very crowded either and is located only about 30 minutes south of St. Petersburg. It is definitely an older mall though that is need of an update. Also, the food court is pathetic. There were about 4 food stands inside it serving Mexican and general American fast food. You would think for such a big outlet, they would have a lot more selections. read more

Perhaps it was because of the pandemic over the last year, but we didn't find a lot of fresh stock at these outlets in the majority we walked in. Lots of the stores felt old and some even left their doors wide open without the a/c running. Who wants to shop in a hot store? I didn't like the layout of the place either. It's just a series of rows with parking only on one side. There's no discount book for tourists. You have to sign up on your phone and look for a discount that way, which is something I rather not do when I get to an outlet mall, looking for deals. ASICS and Express are 2 stores that come to mind that are very good in the customer service department despite looking very exhausted visually. It's not their fault, they are working hard for the customers they just need more help. A couple stores I would suggest to avoid would be under armor and the Nike store, the staff there is not very helpful. Overall this place is fine and the missing star is strictly for the food court. I am not much of a shopper. I prefer to shop for clothes online, but the Under Armor store at the outlets here frequently has great sales. Recently they were offering 50% off everything in the store! A decent size crowd of shoppers were already waiting before doors opened at noon. Despite the high volume of traffic, staff made sure to welcome every shopper, offer assistance with finding items or sizes, and kept the busy check out line moving. The quality of their clothes and shoes is excellent. For these prices it is definitely worth a trip. read more

So, if it's a typical hot, hot Summer day in Florida you best be aware that many of the stores in this outdoor mall are not sufficiently air conditioned. You'll be trudging it around, looking for scraps of shade. Secondly, make sure you grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants in the surrounding area before or after you shop. The "food court" leaves a lot to be desired. Another insufficiently air-conditioned space with five or six sad little food stands of overpriced Morsels. Most outlet malls are very hit or miss, but I actually really like this mall. I always seem to do well here i.e. I find too much to buy. I always go early in the day, so there is plenty of parking, but usually by the time I leave, people are swarming for parking spots. It is an outside mall, so dress according to the weather, but fortunately all the stores have their air conditioning blasting to make up for Florida's brutal hot weather. This particular mall has a lot of my favorite outlet stores: Kate Spade, Coach, Banana Republic, and Nike. I also feel like there is a good mixture of stores here - between kitchen goods, clothing, athletic gear, accessories, etc. with options for every age group. I find it helpful to park at either one end of the mall or the other - by the Nike Factory Store or by the Saks Fifth Avenue. If you do that, you can wind your way up and down the different arms of the mall, and once you reach the end, you can head directly back to your car along the front of the mall. Go to their web page and download their map of store locations; you'll be glad you did. read more

It's open and outside, and that's a major bummer for some people down here in FL, especially in the hot summer months. The stores are so numerous, however, enabling you to get some A/C quickly as you jump from store to store. Also, the walkways in between buildings had a decent amount of shade, giving additional respite from the heat. Most of the stores offer deals enough below their standard chain to justify the trip. I cannot give it under 5 stars. It not fair to compare this Outlet to others. It has a lot of competition near by on top of the Corona that has affected every other business dramatically. It gets a 5 cuz despite how empty it looked DURING A WEEKDAY. I actually enjoyed it. No crowds, no drama EVER. My Lady enjoyed the visit as much as i did. I did have to sit down a lot sense the cancer is still kicking my ass. I found it easy for me to find benches and seats everywhere. Took a nice rest and looked around while my Lady was inside the stores and occasionally i went inside to negotiate with her lol. The reason for my visit was for to buy her a Jacket and some sweaters. I had to talk her into allowing me buy her those three pieces. She is very proud woman and i really like her for that. No Mam she is not a wall flower and neither am I. We found the sweaters she is allowed to wear in her job. Something i find ridiculous in some of these businesses. "Color coding to theme" it's stupid, especially when we are going through this. Kinda crazy how they care more about how u look vs work. Enough of ranting lol This rant isn't for this place. The majority of the stores here are relaxed. I saw plenty of store employees chillin with free choice in garbs. Except one but story for another day. Theming is cute in theme parks, but when u rather put your employees in danger over it, in a mall, airport, market, parking lot during cold seasons that's happening through a pandemic?. There is a Tervis store, but I didn't find any good deals. The Victoria's Secret was the largest all sales and clearance location I've ever seen. Avid shoppers will need a good amount of time to hit all the stores (think 3-4 hours). The only downside is the Vans store is so tightly compact that really only one person can fit in each of the clearance aisles. read more

I don't always find something I like, but if I do -- then it's something with a good value at a reasonable price. There are a number of empty stores here. June is a slow time for retail in Florida. So most of the places are running great sales off their already discounted prices. That being said, it helps to know quality and what the actual retail prices would be. This time, I visited Ann Taylor (70% off on dresses; final clearance racks with extra percentage off too), The Cosmetic Store (name brands which if they have your product can be 10-20% off department store prices, but limited color selections);Polo Ralph Lauren (t shirts on sale; clearance racks with big savings although not cheap); and Banana Republic (extra 40% off their discounted clearance clothes; plus extra off if you are a card holder -- 20% off in June which was then combined with the other discounts! Wow!) Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes -- stores are spread out -- and there aren't many places to sit and rest in the heat of the sun. Happy shopping! read more

This is not an enclose mall. But it has cover walkway for most of the part. It is pleasant to walk on the mall during the autumn or the spring time. It has several stores that I like. I got my discount paint or work dress long sleeve. Sometimes I got the shoe also. It has a food court but very limited. The surrounding do not have much choice of food selection, I mean good food. This may be the only down side of this mall. Can blame them. The access is easy in the morning or late afternoon. Other than that, it will required a line to drive in. read more

I live a pretty minimalistic lifestyle when it comes to clothes. I'm always surprised when people tell me they think I dress well because I have no style sense whatsoever. I wear dresses because they are easy to put on in the morning and I don't have to match. Needless to say, I'm the type of person that goes to shopping malls to walk in AC, not to actually shop. When I need something, like new sandals, I come to the outlets. Last time I was here, I got 2 pairs of sandals from Naturalizer for less than $40! I like to shop the sales at the outlet (it makes the cheap even cheaper!) Recently, I've started to shop for baby clothes. Carter was having a door buster sale where a pack of five onesies was $11! I'll probably be getting most of the baby's outfits from here. Parking has always been super easy. A lot of people go up and down the aisles when they first pull in. Rookie mistake. You need to keep driving until you're by the Gap and there are always parking spots there! There aren't great dining options, but you come here to shop, not to eat. I especially like going to Sunglass hut in the back of the mall where Robert is a manager because he always gives me good Sunglass advise and I find amazing deals. I also like the Lucky Brand store. Sharon is always kind, welcoming and helpful. So is Holli. I always seem to find some pretty great deals there as well....Coach is another favorite of mine, But I have to be careful I could spend so much money here. Both outlets in Ellenton and Tampa are approximately the same distance from my house and I can usually Make a good commute if I strategically plan when I'm going to go outside of traffic times. The Shops at Ellenton Premium Outlets are a bit run down now but you can still find some good deals here. I recommend the Lee/Wrangler store for great prices - jeans, belts, shirts and tees. The best deal around is the Hurley's store! They have first quality items there and you can get everything from shorts and t shirts to hoodies and winter gear all at amazing discounts. They have a couple of name brand shoe stores also where you can find great prices (I like Steve Madden shoes!). The biggest disappointment as far as price is the Levi's store. I've been here several times and most things are the same price as a regular mall store or online. During busy times of the year parking can be a pain because the front lot is kind of small but there is an overflow lot around the side of the building. The food court is nothing special but you can grab something to eat while you shop. Also, this is an outdoor mall so if the weather is crappy you might get wet, hot, cold, etc. Not a lot of directional information so you end up wandering around trying to find a store. You can find some great bargains here so just look around! read more

Ventured here from Tampa bc we thought from online listing of stores it might be better than Grand Premium Outlets: Lacoste (closed, doors locked) and Le Cruset- its not nicer...at all. The Puma Store Manager known as "Z" is the absolute Role Model and Prototype of Customer Service , Great Attitude and Great Prices. Z's store was the only shoe store that carried larger shoe sizes Z' store was the only shoe store that exceeded my expectations. Literally, every employee asked me at least one time if I needed anything and they all had a smile on their face. After paying for my shoes , I thanked Z for giving great service and having the best selection , however I left a small bag of T-Shirts in his store (that I was carrying from a previous purchase.) After realizing I forgot the bag, I went back to the store to see if he found the bag I forgot . Z took my phone number down and offered to call me if the merchandise turned up. Sure enough 20 minutes later, he called me on my phone and had my bag waiting for me. He saw me walking and ran out of the store just to bring it to me. It's refreshing to find people who actually care about their job , have a great product , and a smile on their face ! Two thumbs up to Z and his staff .
