Had a very helpful sales associate (Terri) helping my friend and me. She was very personable, knowledgeable and patient with us. I love the clothes at Foxy Lady however... The owner was working when we were there and she criticized Terri in front of eveyone. First thing she admonished her for was the way she was bagging our purchases. Next was the way she was folding our clothes. Never, never "scold" an associate or team member in front of people (customers, etc.). She was very unprofessional and rude. Frankly we don't understand why Terri works there with her. We felt so sorry fpr Terri. Again, Terri knows her stuff and was fun to work with. The owner...maybe she needed to stay home. The store has a wonderful assortment of designer clothing, shoes, and accessories. Eileen, or is it Irene? (Sorry), is an excellent, caring, and professional salesperson who knows the inventory and can fit any body type. She is always pleasant and quick and knows what works on hard-to-fit body types. read more

Buyer beware! 2 hours after buying a pair of boots here I saw the same boots at Dillards for $106 less. I immediately returned to Foxy lady with the boots which had not been out of the box since purchasing them. I explained why I was returning them and was told that I was only entitled to a store credit. When I stated that there were no signs posted with this information , their response was to "check my receipt". So, after you purchase their merchandise and it's too late, that's when you become aware of the return policy... how convenient for them. I have never written a bad review but I feel this blatant unethical behavior towards the consumer should not go unnoticed. read more

Unfortunately the service was appalling. When in the store I saw two younger girls (early 20s) walking in to look for clothes, and the retailer did not acknowledge them until they wanted to try something on. I then three employees surround the dressing room that one of the girls was in, ripped the dress out of her hand when she walked out of the changing room. This experience was sad to see because you are turning away customers by assuming they cannot afford your clothing. I will not be returning after this experience but hope in the future customers are valued and respected. read more

So many great choices here it's hard to leave with nothing! Somewhat high end, with a great mix of casual to nice. Also great service.

I wouldn't even give these people one star because they were so rude to my daughter and her friend who went to try on prom dresses. My daughter is homeschooled and we choose when her prom will be. The ladies argument was that prom season was over because she overheard my daughters friend saying that her school's prom was over. they kicked them out of the store because they were taking pictures of themselves and dresses to send over to their parents myself to see if we'd like the dress. Anyway, when I called to complain, the woman was a complete and utter hostile unkind, rude woman with no regard for my daughter as a human being. She actually told me that we don't need to shop in her store anymore. I just don't understand why these old women have to be so nasty and bitter to young sweet girls. My daughter is very nice and professional... I was grateful after months of trying to work through a cross country return, that they agreed to giving me a refund. Yup, I know - they NEVER refund anyone!! But after I shipped back my merchandise - they shorted me $100 and no store credit either. I have been calling and leaving messages for months with no response. The people who work there, so rude. Just returned from a boat ride, stopped in to browse after a lunch and the ladies followed us around as if we were going to steal something. I wasn't sure what to expect when we entered but was pleased to see they had all ages covered here. The shoe selection was great. Good brand names on shoes and clothing. If you need pants, jeans, dressy dresses or casual they have it all. I read the previous reviews regarding the salespeople but I found them very helpful and not pushy at all. They know their store so they were helpful in sharing info on brands and fit. They aren't in the little downtown shopping area of Siesta Key - just around the corner on Beach Rd. read more

Beware customer service on returns. I purchase 2 pairs of Lisette pants (black) early spring 2014; the spandex in the capris began breaking along the rear seam, so much so that could no longer wear the pants after August. I inspected the ankle pants and noticed the same thing happening. A competing store in Sarasota told me that Lisette had gotten some bad fabric and many were returned. I went to Foxy Lady on St. Armand's to show the manager my pants. Two days later, she called to say they would NOT replace the pants, exchange or give a store credit. Nothing. Despite the fact that they do have pretty clothes, they do not stand behind their merchandise. Be careful. read more
