Chastity provided excellent customer service not only to me, but another customer that was undecided at the same time! The two bag limit is the most off putting thing I've encountered in a while. I stopped in today to buy three purses for my daughter's teachers. Upon checkout, I asked if they would mind putting them in three bags so that I could give them to the teachers, and they said that there was a two bag limit. I even offered to purchase a third bag so that I don't have to stop at CVS on the way home for a gift bag, but they said they can't sell them to me either. Kind of ridiculous when you're buying three purses. This definitely makes me rethink Michael Kors purses being my go to gifts as I typically buy 10-15 MK purses a year and have never encountered this before. read more

I am sooooo upset with the Manager at Michael Kors at Ellenton Fl. I spent over 500.00 dollars at that store for Christmas. I tried returning a pair of unworn boot with tags on them and receipt. They would not return the boots bc of no box. Are you kidding me?! No place in the policy or receipt did it say there had to be a box. This is completely asinine. The manager was very rude and lied to us outright! Poor management skills. Michael Kors do better! Accommodate your customers! Please better management! read more

I've had a lot of great shopping experiences at this store, but the last one did it for me. I was Christmas shopping and couldn't figure out what to get so I was in the store a few different times looking. When I checked out the first time the cashier was very sweet and helpful and packed my purchase nicely as it was for a gift. The second time I checked out the cashier was very naive acting and when I asked to wrap up the purchase she said and I quote. "We don't do that here". So I said well the last person did, and this lady says "We don't do that here, IDK who did that for you but there weren't supposed to". I was very thrown back because the whole reason you guys have boxes and tissue paper is to send the purchases out nice. She was lazy, stubborn and unprofessional. I'm so loving Michael Kors right now. I love the look of the purses, the colors, the styles, everything. Today, they had a good number of 50% off sales. But of course, everything I loved was regular price. The sales people are nice here, and do their best to advice me on what colors go with what. Upon walking in, I was greeted by numerous sales people all eager to help. I wasn't sure about my selection, but felt encouraged to purchase anyway. After getting home I had buyer's remorse and tried return the bag. Note that I had not even taken my purchase out of the store bag. Imagine my surprise when I was told quite smugly that there are NO RETURNS! After 57 people helped me no ONE thought to mention this detail. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE HERE AGAIN. read more

I usually don't have any issues especially with the sales team. However I walked out today feeling that Shoua(manager) and Lorian was very shady(integrity issues). I purchase a purse less then a year ago, Nevertheless the purse started coming apart, I explain the situation to Lorian(working the register) while I was waiting to purchase a new purse and even let her knew that the purse was in the car. I knew Michael Kors damage item policy in the past was that they would take the purse and send it off to be repair ( I really wanted my bag) however I didn't knew they stop that process and now just give store credit. Well Lorian knew, so she told me well make your purchase first(knowing that they do not give refunds) then we can see what we can do. This is the point where I do believe that good customer service should have came into play, because at this point, not only did they allow me to make a purchase knowing that a store credit would have been the only thing they could do for me but they didn't want to allow me to use the credit that they gave me toward the purchase I made about 7 minutes yearly. Providing good customer service is telling the customer well before you purchase that bag (I'll keep this bag behind the register so you can go to your car and get the damage bag because if we can't exchange it for the same bag at least you will get a store credit and you can use it towards your new purchase. They were all about the sale and lost a long time customer. I'm going to use the store credit I have however use it at the outlet in Orlando, Fl.(they have a better selection anyway) Ellenton was convenient. I do like to recognize the good as well as the bad,therefore I would like to say the sale associate Emily was excellent with her assistance. I love today's technology because not only did I call up my friends and tell them what happen because word of mouth is the for sure money maker but now I'm able to tell a few more people. read more
