But the big thing about purchasing at Crowley these last times is the excellent customer service! Ashley was great in-store customer service, yes, but I have also experienced an outstanding and truly helpful service department with people who do all they can to make it right. That's excellent added value for reasonably priced furniture. I am waiting for today's furniture delivery-- in a month...I continue to expect a positive experience.

That chair has had lots of use and still works just like new! The next purchase was a couch which I've used for years. The fabric still looks like new. No wear or stains but the cushions were starting to sag a little and my back was starting to ache because of it. I decided that it was time to look at new sofas. Maybe one that reclines? Also I wanted a bed that was a little smaller and that I could raise and lower head/feet. Well, I discovered that Crowley now has a store in Blue Springs so one day, on a whim, I went in just to take a look around. And there was Leslie. She greeted me and I told her I was just going to look around. No plans for purchase--just starting what I expected to be a long hunt. She gave me a quick overview of how the store was laid out and said to come get her if I had any questions or needed help. I didn't get very far before I fell in love with a dining table. The perfect replacement for my clunky, hand-me-down/needs refinishing table. I found Leslie and told her to mark that one "SOLD". At that point I explained to her my plan to move from a house into an apartment in the near future. Almost like a mind reader and as though she were on the hunt for the perfect pieces with me, she helped me narrow down what it was I really needed and wanted. She was amazing. I never felt rushed, pushed or oversold. She listened so well that it was like turning my wishes into reality. In the end I felt like she was more friend than a sales person. As I was leaving, I asked her how many years she had been there and was so shocked it was only a few. She is just a natural. The bed/mattress I ended up with was exactly what I needed. But my favorite thing of all is the couch. I wanted a reclining couch with overstuffed arms but I had limited wall space. She helped me find the perfect one and it even had lumbar support (something I need desperately but didn't know existed). The only problem...I really hated the leather look and colors. I spent a lot of time with the swatches and finally found one that I liked better than the rest. Still not in love. When she came back to check on me, I made the comment that I sure wish the fabric wasn't just for pillows because I love color and pattern. She pointed out a group of swatches I totally missed -- they were fabric and there it was, Red!! A beautiful, glorious shade of red. LOVE!!! I think she was almost as excited as I was. Anyway, all the furniture is in place now and every piece is good quality and exactly what I need. I wouldn't change a thing. I even ended up having Crowley replace the foam in my old couch cushions. Like new! So that couch is now in my spare bedroom in place of a futon more suited for a dorm room. So happy I started my search at Crowley's. I'm sure the other sales associates are wonderful but as far as I'm concerned--Leslie is my hero. She made my search painless!!

After waiting 10 week for a bed, they show up and have no hardware to build the bed, so they make me wait another week. I was promised by Javier that the assemblers will be back on Wednesday morning, the next week... I let them know, next Wednesday afternoon will not work, but if they promised Wednesday morning, I would be there. Then they change my delivery window to the afternoon on Wednesday. I contact them and tell them this is not what was promised and this is unacceptable. They tell me the only way they can fix is to wait another week. I am done waiting, I am done leaving work for delivery "windows", and I am done with Bob's. Bob's feel free to call me to fix this. Mark D. and Ivy are no help. I am done with your phone trees and chat lines. Everything there is, wait a week. We are all full this week, wait a week. You all need to fix your system for when you make mistakes.

Plenty of great finds with very friendly staff and featured plenty of practical building items that I was kind of playing about for my drive back home in Illinois. Definitely recommend the store!

I told the worker we were just looking and wanted to browse. I guess that's not allowed here. We got the grand tour from the salesman with a memorized high pressure question and answer session. It was so scripted that when I asked a question, my question was never answered but instead he just went back to his sales pitch. It got so comical my kids started laughing which made me start laughing. Then the salesman got offended that we were laughing. I couldn't escape from this place quick enough! Definately an experience we will never forget.

Desperately in need of new dryer, I placed an on-line order, paying with PayPal. I received several…read moreemails along with the final one confirming the order and approval for for pick up. The very next day my nephew drove the substantial drive (1hr 15 min round trip, excluding in house time) only to be told there was NO RECORD of the order & he was not the only one this happened to! In checking with PayPal we confirmed the completion of the transaction. Same day subsequent phone call to AM Freight Customer Service garnered us NOTHING as we were told nobody was there that day that could verify the transaction completion with PayPal. In the end we were told we had to wait until Mon, a work day, to take it further! This is Mon and I have been told my order "DID NOT BRIDGE OVER TO THE PICK UP LOCATION, SO IT WAS CANCELED & I MUST REORDER!" Consider my story when you place an on-line order with this company!
