I found two cans of deck stain that are the exact same. I have to dig through 8 shelves of deck stain to find two that matched. They were 1/3rd the price of Home Depot and went on perfectly. I feel a little bad using thier paint brushes as single use, but I don't have to worry about ruining my sink or clothes. I found a great buy on bird seed, the next week they were all sold out. Most items have price tags, but if not the staff will search out the price. Usually the check out line is slow, so be prepared to be patient. I usually bring in a cart from outside because the inside carts have large sticks attached to the sides.

Their manager, Paige yelled at me in front of everyone, including my 7 year old granddaughter. Their systems were down to print out my winnings. Another associate showed me on my phone how to find my items. I asked him do I just go get them or do I need the paper like normal? He told me to go get them and when I come back up to give them the invoice number and they would get me checked out. I did this but before I was even out of the aisle when I was done, Paige was yelling at me because I went down "her" aisle in "her" store without a sale print out. I tried to explain to her that another associate told me to do that. She didn't want to hear it. She was very unprofessional and belittling. My granddaughter even asked why that lady was yelling at me. Everytime I tried to explain she just kept interupting and telling me policy. I understand that. I asked her if she would ask the other associate to come up so he could tell her. No she wouldn't do that. I asked if I could speak to her manager, no she said I couldn't and would not give me the information. I have spent thousands at that store and have been doing the auctions since they started. I could understand being treated like I was if I stole something or broke something but I literally did what I was told. She reprimanded me like I did something wrong. I tried to explain and stand up for myself and I was told she was going to blacklist me for it, which she did after I told her to do what she felt she needed to do. I understand policy. I understand the need to follow it. There is a way to treat customers and a way not to, especially when your associate directed them wrong. Reprimanding, yelling and chastising them in front of their family and the entire store is not it.

I normally would say enter at your own risk, but in this case - just don't enter. Find some garage sales - they are going to offer a better and safer selection.

We bought our tickets ahead of time, so we could secure our time slot. However, it looked like you can get tickets there the day of. Tickets are fairly priced, $16/person. This place is a lot bigger than I thought. Once you go down the rabbit hole, there are little burrows to crawl through, stop by and check out the rabbits little house before making your way through. It took us about 2 hours to go through, my kids loved all the interactive pieces to it. They could climb in nearly everything, there was a slide, a fire pole, etc. If you aren't familiar with the books, don't worry, they keep them stocked at each section so you can read it! Once we were done, we made our way to the bookstore. They had a wonderful large staircase that people could just relax and read books which I thought was wonderful little touch. They had a great selection of books and had a section of all the books from the displays. They have a coffee shop but unfortunately it was closed when we were there. The staff was wonderful, the volunteers are all scattered throughout to help customers. The volunteers and staff truly love books and children. We will absolutely be back again!
