When I stay in Bloomington, I visit Caribou Coffee and Walgreens that are located in the same plaza. When I leave it, I always see this Target on my left. I had never visited it until last month. I needed to get lemons and honey. I thought that I'd try finding them at Target. This store is awesome. It has a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut at the front. The grocery section is amazing. I have never seen so many different ranch dressing varieties in my life. Then again, Minnesota is ranch dressing territory, so it makes sense. I ended up picking up a jug of AriZona green tea, too. Finding lemons and raw honey in a squeezable bottle was easy. It took me a long time to tear myself away from the snacks aisle. The toy section was next door. I loved seeing plushies, from Grogu to Squishmallows. Spring merchandise was abundant at this store. I liked looking at sandals, cute dresses, and more. I got a human at the checkout area. It was nice chatting with her. I paid with a credit card. She placed all my items in bags. I appreciated it. I wished her a good evening and left. It's a solid Target store. This Target is ok. Nothing special. It doesn't compare to the one that is in Edina for the food section whatsoever. They do have the Ulta in here which is nice, but again, it's very meh to me. If I go to a Target to do food shopping, then I'm definitely not going to this one. It's good for what it is though. It is pretty clean and organized, has a nice flow to it. The Starbucks is never too busy so I actually do appreciate that about this specific location, especially since it is close to where I work. read more

I like this one because I was in search of the 3M N95 face mask. These are the ones that are supposed to actually work. I'm sick of catching colds and flus from my husband so I'm giving this a try and wearing it around him. They were pretty handy and not hell and gone like John S. referred to. I also needed flavored water and what do I see but a cart full of Unwells in various flavors. The cart was actually in the check out aisle to block customers. They were 3 for $7. So this was a great find. In this one area you'll find lots of staff installing stuff. I actually had someone there to locate the mask for me. I was a pretty satisfied customer. read more

This review is based on my experience on 2/10/2025 at 8:14 pm. I arrived at Target's drive-up area and notified them through the app that I was there for my order. A few minutes later, the order was handed to me through the passenger window. After placing the order on the passenger seat, I checked the contents to ensure everything was included. I've had prior experiences where items were missing or out of stock, so I wanted to double-check. Upon inspection, I noticed that the bleach spray had leaked all over the bag. Since the delivery employee had already left, I took the bag inside to request a replacement. Jen was the cashier at the returns & exchanges desk. I explained the situation, and she informed me that I would need to be refunded to a store card and then she would renter the items. She asked another employee to gather the two items while I waited, and she processed the return and new purchase from her side. While waiting, I noticed that my Vikings sweatshirt had been stained with bleach. I asked Jen if she was a manager, and she clarified that Logan, the employee retrieving the items, was the manager. When Logan returned, I explained the situation, mentioning that my sweatshirt had been damaged due to the issue with the bleach bottle. He offered me a $5 gift card as compensation. I asked for his manager's contact information, and he wrote down the name Ellie on a piece of paper, but did not provide a phone number. Jen gave me the store's main contact number when I asked for more details. After reaching out to Ellie, I introduced myself and asked if Logan had mentioned my experience. Ellie confirmed he had but mentioned that Logan described me as "aggressive." I clarified that I was frustrated, but not aggressive, and expressed my surprise that the situation wasn't handled more effectively. I also mentioned the bleach damage to my sweatshirt. Ellie explained that since the incident occurred outside of the store's property, Target was not responsible for the damage. I questioned this explanation, as I was still on the property when the incident occurred, but she reiterated that they couldn't take responsibility. She asked what I was expecting from the situation, and I explained I was hoping for an apology and resolution. Ellie stated she would inform her staff to prevent future occurrences, but she did not offer a resolution for my damaged sweatshirt. When I requested the regional manager's contact information, she said she could not provide it, instead directing me to call guest relations at 800-440-0680. While I understand that accidents can happen, I was disappointed by the lack of a direct apology or resolution. The overall handling of the situation felt dismissive, and I believe further training on customer service and conflict resolution could benefit the management team. This target has one of the latest remodel designs in the burbs of Minneapolis. I'm loving the department store feel they are implementing into their design. It's easier to see more products than the mile high aisle model. They are still there but the kitchen, baby, electronic, and other sections are faster to find what you want with just a glance. If you can't find something I would just search for it on the app. If you tap on the aisle it says it's in it will give you a real-time map of where you are and where the product is in the store. And no worries if you aren't in your regular target because of your location services it knows what target you are in. It's correct 98% of the time. In the last 8 years, I've only had to ask for help finding something twice. I've never fully understood their checkout with the lanes piggybacking each other. Even though they are fully functional they are just unique to this location from all the targets I've seen. They are nice for when a new lane opens ahead it's easier to get to. read more

One of my favorite locations in Minnesota. My grandkids and I, had a great time shopping. They had a great sale on shorts at $3.00 a pair for little girls but, of course, they wanted cuter outfits and they got em. Lol ‍ We stopped for pjs and shorts but came out with Pjs, shorts, cute shirts, a couple of cute dresses and smart watches I'm definitely that grandma LOL I like the wide isles and not having to squeeze between things with a shopping kart. I did notice that, they had no employees in any of the departments where we roamed, and that they only had cashiers in place. I'm grateful for the human cashiers because, so many stores are getting rid of employees and switching to self checkout which is horrible! Where's my W2? This is a great location with plenty of parking. Of course I'll stop and shop here again whenever I'm back... this is my spawtttt!!! read more

What an incredible Target store! The check out woman was really kind and made conversation and was funny. They had a wide variety of products and almost every product I wanted was in stock and stored neatly. The overall bang for your buck was decent but the selection and service made up for it. I came here yesterday just to find something to do here in Minnesota and nobody greeted me at the door like they're supposed to do I used to work here not this location but another location in Woodbury and they're supposed to greet you they get paid $15 an hour to greet you they didn't greet me no one said anything to me until later at the very end and then after that there was no transaction between me or anyone else and then after that all the shelves in the grocery aisle were mainly empty there was nothing there I don't know what they're doing because you know there's nothing there a bunch of the staff are just wandering around not doing anything the lanes were all closed off there was only one lane so I got pretty crowded and not Covid friendly. read more

This is the Target we used to shop at the most when I lived in Bloomington. My son and his dad still come here regularly. One of the things that I appreciate about this location is that the riding carts are always charged up and ready to go. There are times when mobility is really a challenge for me, so having the ability to ride around the store is important. When I've needed assistance, the staff are friendly and helpful. Yes, it's still difficult to leave the store with only the items for which I originally came to get. read more

I have not been there for a while. The store has a fresh perspective and moved all the produce and fresh products up front. The store was very clean and aisles wide to allow carts. Target still remains a bit pricey and I was shocked at the amount of toys in toys section. It was well decorated and staff were kind and got us right out. There seems to be less merchandise and I noticed all women's sizes are now one department. Very considerate if you are a plus woman. Parking is very easy, lot was clean, baskets sanitized. It used to be my go to and I may have to rethink it as I just got a gift card from someone. read more

Smaller location for sure. The absolute busiest parking lot. This Target is located around one of the busiest shopping areas in the south metro. Grocery section is solid and small, shelves were stocked so you may have to plan another stop. Basic things like milk weren't stocked. Staff were busy with tasks. M'Kay Yelp stop Yelpnagging me I'll review another boring Target. In the vicinity of the Targee's I think the parking lot here is bigger than other stores. It's kind of a practice driving course chore to follow the turns and frontage roads but there are plenty of spaces. I thought this was a SuperTarg but not quite. They do have some convenience items, especially for men, near the front so I didn't have to navigate 2 miles to find a pre-shave product. This is the Southtown Target and the one that was here back in the 1970s when our Family came up to Twin Cities for a weekend of professional sports (Vikings, Twins, or North Stars) and a stay at the long gone Hotel Curtis. Those were the days that this chain was a shadow of its later success as a division of Dayton/Hudson. Actually, the previous version of this Target was across the parking lot from the present one. This store is larger and more modern, but the Freeway access and parking is still as challenging as before. read more

This was the worst target experience I ever had, had spoken to "Gray" customer service on the phone because I left something under the cart (had left target for 15 mins). She said she will have someone look and had told me that the cart boy did not see anything. She asked for my name and number, I also asked if there was anything they could do for me, she told me that if I come in they may be able to do something but because it was out of the store they possibly could not. I told them I can come since I don't live too far maybe 10 mins. I went and checked where I left the cart and BOOM guess what! No one looked and I found my item. The customer service was terrible, especially when I told Grey I had just left target and for her to not actually take a look just made me not want to shop at target anymore, especially when I already spent so much there. read more

This Target has become hit or miss for me. Usually I can be in and out with the item I need quickly but lately they have been out of sizes, certain clothing items are displayed in one place but then aren't anywhere to be found besides the mannequin. I am an avid Target shopper so I feel like I've got the Target shopping experience down to a science and if I can't locate an item, I'm confident other shoppers can't either. I left in a review for a different Target location that their produce is not very trustworthy. I feel the same way about this location. On my part as a consumer, I should inspect the food I'm buying but on more than one occasion have driven home and while putting away my groceries, have noticed that my berries are moldy. I go to this Target more than any other and I will say, I have had a lot more good experiences than bad ones. I was expecting black Friday last year to be especially insane but it seemed like that had enough staff to keep everything running smoothly. read more

This is the closest Target to our place, so we used to come here fairly often. However the variety of stock compared to the Super Target just up the road is dismal. I will give this Target the benefit of doubt for now as they are remodeling the store, piece by piece at the moment. I don't shop here too often for the obvious reasons (spending more than you intend to, spending more time here than intended, etc). However, this morning I had to make a "quick" stop here and was very pleased. Every employee that I passed in the store, made eye contact, smiled, said hello and asked how I was doing. Then at the self check out I tried to use a couple coupons that ended up being expired. I accepted my loss until another employee showed up behind me and hit the override button which allowed me to use them. It was only $8.00 off my purchase, but I was so grateful she did that for me. She could of said "too bad" or didn't acknowledge me at all, but she didn't and I appreciated that very much. Great customer service here! read more

Super Target is definitely the correct description of this store. Huge inventory and selection. Love the selection on cloths and shoes as well as the produce and the natural juices and kombucha. Kinda unmemorable as I had to look back over my check-ins. This Target is next door to Hobby Lobby so if you are going there too, park only once. I really don't like smaller plain Target Stores. We have Super Targets in Burnsville and Apple Valley and these stores contain a larger grocery store. I may return if shopping at Hobby Lobby and I need something at Target. It was very horrible experence that I visited Target in Bloomington today. I returned and exchange a brand new pants with receipt and the cashier even asked me for showing ID for twice to scan , I paid by credit card and she return me stock credit and asked me for my ID to scan twice because she made mistakes. I feel very uncomfortable and unsecure with her asking and scanning my Id . I don't understand why I bought clothes with original receipt for return and exchange that have to show my ID twice for scanning,and I don't know why I paid for credit card and she returned me by store credit, she just said that was the store poicy. Last night we brought our brand new to us foster kids to pick out some clothing and other essentials. Well, lesson learned on our part. The amazing staff acted quickly when he ran off and hid and we couldn't find him. The manager was amazing, she was able to help keep the area where he was hiding quiet and let us just hang out with him until he was ready to leave. One of the ONLY Targets in Bloomington. Or IS it the only one? I know one was proposed down on Old Shakopee and Normandale, but I think it was shot down by the locals. I've only gone here when I go to my dentist across town and need to kill some time before getting the fluoride treatment. Wish they would just remodel and become a super. Several customers were in the same state of confusion,so we all walked around trying to find help.
