I am leaving a 2- star review for the Women's Bathroom at Target. I visited the Target at Auburn Hills on July 15, 2026 and used the bathroom before I left. After I had already entered the stall I realized it had no Menstrual Waste Bin. Without this bin women customers who use this bathroom must not only take extra care in handling unsanitary and bloody products in the stall, but must walk out of the stall into the hall showing the waste to other customers walking into the bathroom. More likely however, as I saw in one of the other stalls that day, it leads women throwing their unflushable menstrual products in the toilet, which will only cause more problems for the Auburn Hills Target. To increase the Bathrooms Cleanliness and Customer Satisfaction, as well as keeping the bathrooms functioning, I would highly recommend the store installs Menstrual Waste Bins in each of the stalls. read more

I absolutely love this Target, it's better than the one in Rochester and Dearborn. ( Dearborn is out of half their merchandise and the shelves are messed up!!) I can honestly say that's the worst one I've ever been to!) Auburn Hills is amazing it's very clean inside, they have a Starbucks also. I always find some cute items and good deals in my size so I'm very pleased with that, and they have the cutest clothes in vibrant colors! They keep everything well stocked, and the alcohol section is huge, so come here if you want to find a nice wine for not to expensive. I'm always buying yogurt they always have it in stock and their produce is pretty good & the beauty isle is also huge!!( OMG, in in heaven!!) Ooh yeah, I forgot to mention the Target brands are the best and a lot cheaper. You can't tell a difference between a high end brand and and Target brand( At least as far as I have noticed.) Oh Target... my home away from home. I really wish I could give this target more stars. However, I have moved all over the county in the past 5 years, visiting multiple target stores. And I would have to say this one might just be the worst. The cashiers are incredibly slow, merchandise is misplaced, and employees are just rude. I scanned my strawberries twice by accident and she was rude for no reason when I asked for help to delete it & only because there was a line starting behind me. If you care about social distancing or a store that enforces people wearing masks, do not go to this location. Half the staff had their masks down over their noses and did not enforce any distancing. I have been to many other stores that have been strict about it including Meijers. I'll be going to Meijers in the future. I am very disappointed in this Target. read more

I was going to Target to exchange pants for my husband and what should have taken ten minutes took almost 45 minutes. The customer service person returned the pants and then rang up the new pants instead of exchanging them which resulted in $19 due. When I explained I'm not paying anymore because I was just exchanging the size (I am in the exchange only line and not the return line); he then had to get a manager. The manager who never came sent another associate who after thirty minutes realized she could just do a price adjustment! read more

Great target!! However had a poor experience with a slow cashier which lets just say speed was not her strong suit! Pat seems like a sweet lady but she should consider a position change, cashier doesn't really suit her she took about 30 minutes of our time. Despite placing every item with the barcode straight up, she still fumbled with them for 2 minutes an item. read more

I ALMOST FORGOT TO DO A A SPECIAL S/O TO TRENT AND LISA!!! Last night I ran to Target to get a few items to decorate my daughters locker. While ringing up my items I noticed my phone was missing. When I asked Lisa to call my phone she immediately did no questions asked.... We were literally running all over the store to find it!!! There always seems to be long lines at this location, no matter what time of year or day that you come here. Last night, it looked like they had random workers working the register that don't usually work at that position (judging by his florescent vest he was wearing). The price points here for most items are usually just a dollar or two higher than their competitors. read more

The staff at this target is incredibly rude. Particularly the Starbucks staff. I have always enjoyed stopping at Starbucks before I shopped- until I moved and this is my closest target! I've interacted with no less than 5 different baristas and they all were awful. Talking to each other instead of acknowledging the customers. Being short with customers. Mocking customers when asked to verify orders. Speaking rudely about about customers in front of other customers. Eating/drinking products in front of customers. Overall the target itself is poorly organized and over shopped. Frequently out of products or not stocked. I am so very sad this is my closest target now. I actively avoid going and do most of my shopping online because I dislike this location that much! read more

First off, shopping at Target is a guilty pleasure of mine. I like it a little too much. Today, the service I received was the icing on the cake. I went to the Target in Auburn Hills, MI this morning with my moody two year old in the middle of potty training. He is just having a bit of a rough time these past few weeks. When he started to have a tantrum over sitting in the cart, the woman at the front restaurant came over and offered him a free banana. SO NICE! Instead of judging me for my screaming kid, someone stepped up to help. We need more people like that in society. A few times, I told my son what we were looking for in the store and an employee was quick to guide me in the right direction. Thank you for making my shopping trip so much more enjoyable! read more

I've never been more motivated to write a review for an every day department store! I've wasted more time in line waiting to be checked out at this target than ever at any other store. I always expect to wait at least 20 minutes. And that's not exaggerating. It's unfortunate too because I love target but it's so hard to justify going when I have a toddler aged son who gets fussy every time I'm in the checkout. It makes my shopping time about double as long as it needs to be. Not impressed by any stretch. read more

I'm here several times a week. Fantastic service every time. Never have to wait more than a couple of minutes to check out. There is usually always someone there managing the lines to make sure everyone checks out in a timely manner. Other stores in the area should take notes!! read more

Awful experience. No costumer service. We arrived for our scheduled appointment for our 1 and 3 years old however had to wait 30 minutes past our scheduled time to be acknowledged. We were taken to the studio over 35 minutes late and provided 10 minutes for pictures. Our 3 year old took a few minutes to warm up which very obviously upset the photographer. The photographer left to assist someone at the desk and when she returned informed us we had taken too much time and needed to reschedule, which had been 10 minutes . After an entire morning getting ready for pictures and waiting at the studio we left without pictures of our 3 year old. We will never return to a target photo studio . read more

Very disappointed with experience at Target last night and today. Had to pick up teacher gifts, a few things for Fathers Day, my neices birthday, plus some home stuff. Also decided to put together a gift basket to give kids today to celebrate the start of summer. Got home and the movie I bought wasn't with my stuff. Ugh. Called the store. They found it. Cashier didn't give it to me. No one seemed very concerned with the inconvenience this put back on me. Went tonight to pick it up and return 2 pants I decided I didn't want. Because I used a $20 gift card last night, had to split the return between a new gift card and my Redcard. Even though I put over $500 on the Redcard. When I voiced my dislike, the response? Shoulder shrug. Once again, inconvenience for me. Putting the burden back on me to remember to bring that card on my next visit (improbable) and to actually use it (even more improbable). So Target if you are reading this, I am usually a big fan. Through your breach and all. But gotta say, feeling like your focus was definitely Not on me last night nor today. read more

Very unhappy with my experience. We usually go to Portrait Innovations but they were booked so I thought we would give Target a try. We wanted one good shot of our three young kids. Just ONE good shot. The photographer did NOTHING to make them smile. No puppets, no goofiness, etc. She took maybe 15 shots total which took about 5 minutes. There was not a good pic in the lot and I still had to pay the $30 sitting fee, so I ordered $20 worth of prints just to take something home from the experience. It also takes 3 weeks! to get the prints. The only positive is that they did not try to sell more prints like they do at Portrait Innovations. At Portrait Innovations two people take the photos (one actually shots the camera and the other assists with poses and making the kids smile), and the pics are ready in 30 minutes. I also would have spend much less there with their current offer. I had high hopes for target considering I like the store for many reasons, but the portrait studio is a fail. I am really disappointed since I just spend $50 on a crappy shot of my kids. read more
