They sent out an inspector on Wednesday and I received a call yesterday that it was a manufacture defect and they issued me a FULL credit! After the relay we went to the Auburn Hills store and had a most caring sales rep named Tiffany Willingham that helped me...even though she did not get any commission she was fantastic and gave me her complete attention! I will never go back to the Waterford store and cannot nor will not recommend it! However, the Auburn Hills store will have any and all future purchases and I will seek out Tiffany and so should you! I then drove 30 minutes to the show room to pick out another bed. I was told I would have to pay a "10% restocking fee" This for a cracked frame a it being way to big. I have called the corporate office two different times. I found out the manager of the department I was speaking with had a manager named Deanna. I was told she was to busy to talk to me but that I would still be responsible for the 10% restocking fee. I asked him I could reach Rachel Scott, the owner who does all the commercials. I was given an email address and told she might read a couple. I.got.my statement from their credit card company. It should be $577.94. It is $1504.08!!! I was just told it will take three billing cycles to give me all the credits. I have a couch and ottoman in my living room and a bed and mattress just purchased. All from Gardner White The couch.I just paid off has the back cushions so.out of shape. It looks terrible and it is on ly 2 years old. I am not happy! I refuse to pay the restocking fee! A friend and I bought it freshman year of college, which may tell you most of what you need to know. Stewarded through time by a half-dozen people in as many states, it managed its way back to us. We replaced the cover (finally, after our puppy did some irreversible damage) and made space for it in our new long-term home -- unbelievably, it's still as good as new. I remember 15 years ago someone in the King of Prussia (PA) location telling us that it'd get more comfortable over time, and sold us through the lifetime warranty. This thing has outlasted virtually everything else -- with no reliance on the warranty. So we felt comfortable taking the jump on the expensive / modular sactional pitch, and wanted to share that experience. We can't speak for the sactional 15 years out yet, but so far we're much more than satisfied with our purchase. Most importantly, Josephine sealed the deal, made sure we were taken care of, and made the entire process as smooth as possible.
