This store is clean, well-laid out and loaded with a lot of items at great prices. Mom rides in her transporter chair when shopping and we had no problem rolling through each and every isle, in fact we had plenty of room to move over and let other people move through as well. There are so many departments in this store for every area of the home. Mom and I love the kitchen area where we can browse pots and pans, mugs, wine glasses and an endless array of utensil related items. They have a very nice section of floor rugs as well as unique furniture that is well made. I especially liked the round blue recliner that swiveled and rocked. There is a very large area for pet lovers where you can find everything to please your pooch or kitty minus the food. Lots of pet beds, toys, pet clothes, leashes, you name it they have it. If you are in the area near Square Lake and Telegraph come check out this well-stocked, clean store. read more

I fell in love with Home Goods when my sister suggested we go inside to look for items to decorate the house. I was surprised to see so many beautiful crystals at this location. There were tons of beautiful Amethyst on the shelves as well as other kinds too. The prices were fair too considering they were much cheaper than what you would pay at a crystal shop. They also had a lot of other home and decorative items. The had some sales going on as well. They even had side tables and small entertainment stands. They have limited furniture items but it is worth the look if you want to find something for your home. read more

One of my favorite stores. It's calming to walk around. The store is very well organized. There are always store members available and close by to help you. Amazing selection of items in great condition. Unique items. The only downside is that the prices are a little higher than I would hope with a store like this selling items for only a small discount of the competitors. Great selection on clearance and price adjustments for any damaged items. Overall this is my go to place for therapy and home decorating. read more

Nice moderate size store that specializes in home related merchandize to include seasonal/holiday merchandize, large assortment of kitchenware merchandize to include pots, pans, glassware, dishes, utensils, cooking staples. They also have paintings, some furniture, area rugs, pet merchandize, linens, bath towels and the list goes on and on. Much of the merchandize is from major brand names with quite a bit of higher end quality stuff at significantly discounted prices. As the merchandize is constantly moving through this store rather quickly I routinely walk through this Home Goods when I shop at the adjacent Costco, looking for the many bargains you can find here. Of note, as the "good stuff" usually goes very quickly (I.E. Le Creuset cookware) you alway need to keep an eye out for it and jump on the bargain when you see it where being an educated consumer really pays off here. To this point, my most recent purchases included European hand painted Christmas decorations from Poland ( which sold out over one weekend) and a Le Creuset baking dish where I got these items literally at half the price you would find on line. Really excellent deals for quality stuff. Overall a very nice home merchandize store that you should definitely check out when you're in the area as you will not be disappointed. read more

Homegoods is the home decor and kitchen department of its parent company, TJ Maxx, expanded to a full store instead of a few aisles. Find the towel or photo frame selection at TJ Maxx leaves something to be desired? Drive to the next lobe of the strip mall beside DSW and Kohl's, not more than a quarter-mile up John R. This outpost is heavy on glassware, more than I have seen in other stores, with the front aisles dominated by Turkish decorative plates and wine glasses galore. They are divided by colour for a particularly lovely rainbow effect proving so brightening upon a gloomy winter afternoon. Seasonal displays appear at the front near the cashiers, and usually contain some scrumptious treat or attractive furniture someone else claimed half an hour before you appeared. Kitchen goods are the real draw for me. Novelty brands like Fred and Kirkegaard are common as midrange knives (Calphalon) and dishes, interspersed by specialty pots and pans. Need rectangular mini-loaf liners? Bet you can find them here, and often cheaper than Amazon. Selection is always very mixed, so never count on a sea of chef's knives or awesome ice trays. Gifts for hipsters, foodies, and committed cooks/bakers are easily found among this section. In terms of home decor and home goods, the store can be particularly hit and miss. Furniture is limited mostly to children's seats, end tables, and chairs or ottomans. Few substantial pieces are common, and Homegoods competes in a space locally with World Market or Pier One. Always keep an eye out for misplaced or misshelved options, which can be the best finds of all. I don't venture into the linens and bedding area often, as I find them very hit and miss. Homegoods is bang on for holiday supplies, which come early and deplete fast. Their Christmas selection for children's toys is very good, featuring lots of solid brands from the US and Europe at a pretty steep discount. I always recommend price checking but they've carried Melissa and Doug, Eco Toys, and more. read more

A store that is run by competent people. I had a problem with some cookware they took care of it immediately they were courteous. I didn't expect it to go that well I shop at the store a lot I always had good purchases this is the first time I've ever had a problem in five years. I think this one was great - I found the exact thing I was looking for (curtain rods) at a huge discount from other stores. I LOVE this store!!! The selections and prices are amazing!!! I recently saw a sign that I loved but walked away from. Once home I couldn't get it out of my mind. Just knowing it was sold, I traveled thru-out metro- Detroit area including the Ann Arbor store. Low and behold after not finding it I called the Bloomfield store where I originally saw it, not only was it still there(4 days later), they put it on hold for me until I could get there!
