I'm a big fan of this location, not a Super Target, but it is a Greatland. The shelves are usually fully stocked with sale and non sale items, which I appreciate. If you are a fan of electronics like I am, this department is somewhat skimpy, however what they lack in electronic items, they make up with their c.d. selection. The clearance section of this store is definitely my favorite! There is always a good selection to choose from. In fact, this place is really good for buying quality in-expensive gifts! I was able to find a designer/expensive looking iPod holder for my friend's birthday for $5 and some really cool novelty beer glasses for $8 bucks! (We'll just keep this as a little secret between you and I). Avoid this location at noon, and at 2:30p.m. on the weekdays though. Dekalb School of the Arts is right across the street. The young whipper-snappers are known to frequent and crowd up the street. read more

Blue Beats Pill. It seemed like something simple enough to locate, especially during back to school shopping season. The Target website carries it and I assumed it was available in all of their stores. I stopped here on my way home from work on the Friday before Labor Day. It wasn't particularly busy and at 4:40 PM I assume would have been adequately staffed. I was able to locate the Beats Pill display in the electronics department, but only the red, black, and white ones were in the case. I tried to find someone from the department to ask if they carried the blue one and I couldn't find anyone. No problem. I walked over to the Guest Services desk. I stood there alone for approximately 3 minutes before using the Yelp app to look up the store's phone number to call. I tried calling the electronics department directly, but no one answered and my call was routed to the operator. I told her I was in the store and needed assistance. At first she was confused and then asked if I was in electronics. I told her I was at Guest Services. She hung up and I heard an announcement that a Guest Needed assistance at Guest Services. A guy walked over and inside the door to get behind the counter. He walked around and then called out someone's name. He appeared to be looking for an associate he assumed was working. Keep in mind, he still hasn't even acknowledged me. Finally, he acknowledged me and I told him I needed him locating a blue Beats Pill. There weren't any on the shelf and I wanted to know if they carried them in that store. He picked up the phone and called someone. After giving the person my description (I was wearing an orange shirt at the time) he hung up and then pointed back at electronics and said they could help me over there. Long story short (too late, I know), they don't carry the blue Beats Pill at this Target. read more

This Target has always been clean, mostly quiet, and well-stocked every time I visit. The fresh produce selection in the grocery section can use a lot of help, but the frozen, refrigerated, and pantry goods are plentiful. In the back right corner of the store, you can find all of the holiday and seasonal goods with which to decorate your house ("gingerbread" house cat scratcher ftw). Cell phone signal in the store is pretty much nonexistent, so finish up your calls and price-matching searches before entering. Like most Targets, this one has a Starbucks cafe inside that's almost always void of customers, so perfect if you're in a rush. The workers are friendly and actually smile and greet you. The store is in a very convenient location, although I would avoid coming here during prime traffic hours since North Druid Hills always becomes jam-packed between 3-6 PM on the weekdays. read more

This is my neighborhood Target...and as an American it is my duty to love Target. I do love Target, just not this location. Every time I try to run in here "really quick" it ends up taking me FOREVER. The price checkers are always broken. Sometimes you can find an employee to help you get the price with one of those handheld scan guns but good luck. The lines to check out are always forever long. I will go to Guest Services to check out if I only have a few items, but feel guilt if I have more than a couple of things. Props to the Guest Service people because they are the nicest employees in the place. Have always been very helpful and accommodating when making returns. Oh, and the electronics people are helpful...they told me not to shop electronics at this location because their selection sucks. They told me where to go to find the good stuff (e.g., Wii fit). However, the majority of employees at this location are not very friendly. My favorite incident with a Target employee at this location was when I had five items in one of those hand basket thingys. I set the entire basket on the conveyor like I normally do. The employee just stood their, glaring at me. Then she said to me "You gonna take 'dos out da basket?" And I was perplexed and laughed because I thought it was a joke. Nope, she was dead serious. I proceeded to turn the basket upside down, dumping my items onto the conveyor. Now, maybe I have bad shopping etiquette or something but whenever I'm at Publix and I have items in the handle held basket they always say, oh I'll get that...so I just leave it. I figured it wasn't a big deal to just set the whole basket on the conveyor. I have learned my lesson. I will forever take the items out of the basket at Target now. read more

One of my favorite Targets. Mainly because when I like an item, they always have my size. A couple of times I have searched for an item in person or through the website and found out that this location has it. The staff is friendly. The store and parking lot are clean. read more

No one works here. The service is so ridiculously awful, it's almost like a comedy. I'm sure Target is paying people to work at this store... however the "work" part is just not happening. I am thinking about applying for a job here, because I would love to collect a paycheck just to wear a red shirt and loudly goof around with other people in red shirts while ignoring 100% of customers. Sounds amazing to me. Also, every Target store now does this thing that royally pisses me off. They jam your cell phone. Then they advertise "free wifi"... Wow... free wifi, that's amazing! Except if you actually use their wifi, you will quickly discover that they block all access to competitors like walmart and amazon. I used to use amazon to compare prices and get more detailed info on products. Now, I can't do that in ANY Target store because they Jam my cell service and block those sites on their WiFi. So guess what ... instead of learning about a product and then possibly buying it at Target about 50% of the time, now I buy at Target 0% of the time. Congrats on your stupid, customer screwing, ignorant business plan Target! Oh... and NO I don't want to "Save 5%" when I check out by getting your crap credit card that will cost an extra 20% next month. Plus you have been sooo trustworthy with customer's private information, so I would love for you to have all of my banking info too! Good thing I no longer visit your stores, because this yet another abusive tactic that is out of control. read more

I don't know what I would do without Target! This location is pretty good, generally well-stocked, but there's one problem. Literally every time I have been in here (about 2-3 times a week on average), the lines have been ridiculous. I worked at a Target store in high school, and I know that their official policy states that if you have more than one person waiting in line behind whomever you're currently helping, you're supposed to request additional cashiers. At this location, they apparently didn't get that memo. Moral of the story: don't shop at this Target if you're in a hurry. But the rest of the store is fine, otherwise I wouldn't keep shopping here. read more

The employees are mostly sourpusses here. One cashier refused to serve a customer who had been patiently waiting in line so she could go home, even after her fellow employee asked her nicely ("he's been standing in line a long time, could you please take him?"). She really should have told him earlier that she was closing the register. Another employee flipped out when a customer put a bit of Icee into a soda cup, and claimed that he should have paid an extra 50 cents. (Hint: Your own menu board says 25 cents. What were you planning on doing with the extra quarter?) On the other hand, OUR cashier was perfectly sweet (she was the one who asked "could you please take him?"), and I found some amazing bargains here last night. $1.24 (down from $5) for a 12-ounce bar of shelf-stable smoked cheese from Hickory Farms merely because it was intended as a Christmas gift. It didn't have any Christmasy markings on it. And for some reason, all the Boca crumbles were $1.87 a box, roughly half what I'd pay at Publix or Kroger. Needless to say, I stocked up on both. However, if not for the bargains (which will soon be gone), I found no reason to shop at this Target. read more

I'm not sure what all the whining is about. on my last few visits I have been able to pick up undeware, a tv, turtlekneck shirts, gummy bears, a water gun, socks and cleaning supplies. I checked out in a very reasonable amount of time and was assisted a few times by available and helpful staff. read more

Went there on a Saturday morning 10:30ish. You would think they would have carts to use but no only 11. The store wasn't busy so all the carts were sitting out in the parking lot. Found a lot of the isle were not really stocked. Then attempted to hunt up an employee to find where an item was. Walked from the front of the store all the way back searching for an employee. Nada. Then spied the handy Target red phone. Well after listening to it ring for over a minute waiting for an associate to pick up, I gave up on my item. Then I began the joyous checkout. The male cashier never looked up, never spoke and never acknowledge me. They can not even have their employees took up to acknowledge a customer is breathing and spending their money there. Definitely will not be going back to this dreadful Target. read more

This has been my 'main' target for several years now, but no longer. Actually no Target is 'my' store any longer. Short story, bought 5 fairly expensive metal bathroom shampoo holders from Target about 7 months ago. These weren't cheap (about $20 each as I recall) 3 of the five are rusting (but the other two aren't). We brought them back to the store Saturday, hoping for an exchange (a replacement) , but no luck. 3 month's the time limit on any returned Target item, regardless of whether it's a workmanship/defect/whatever. We're no longer Target shoppers. They've lost 2 consumers who generally spend from $150-$250 each there annually. I would have emailed Target this directly, but there's no way to email them anything on their site (I'm sure this cuts down on the complaints) That's it. read more

I'm going to try to not ding Target too much for my observation last Friday. Apparently with the high school across the street, they play football games (guessing) and target seems to allow their entire lot to be filled with their cars. I went in for advil and fought my way through crowds of people walking out of the lot, across the street, ignoring the vehicles or exit lights trying to get out of the target. It was a mess. With that said, target itself is pretty standard and I found exactly what I needed, advil at a pretty cheap price, and with my headache, it was awesome to see the pharmacy section was immediately to the right once you enter the store. Getting in and out of the Target was done more quickly than it took to find an initial parking space, and I thank them for their speed and great service. I just wish they could do something for crowd control. Either way, if there's an event going on, you may want to stay away! read more

This is a great Target. It's pretty much like all the other one's though. I don't know what's up with all of the harsh reviews, but I've never had a bad experience in here. I mean it's not 5 star shopping, but it's good enough. And yea, it's products come from the same places as Walmart's most likely...just a slightly different experience. read more

I am reviewing this location solely based upon my experience as a recently handicapped person. I broke my ankle two weeks ago and am realizing that regardless of the ADA regulations that have been in effect since the 90's, there are still many variables in accessibility that are left up to interpretation. The automated carts here are inferior. They are slow, the turning radius is lacking, and the back up bell is embarrassingly loud. SO loud that I laughed in embarrassment each time I had to turn around. Luckily my husband was there to help me play it off. The aisles are narrow. Even if I chose to use reverse and suscept myself to the absurdly loud back up bell, I still wouldn't have been able to turn around within the aisle. So I drove at a turtles' speed in circles through the aisles several times to get back to the spot that was just inches behind me in the same aisle. Argh! O o X read more

I found out this was my Target of preference when I catch myself going back to this particular location despite having other ones closer by. It might be that I already know where everything is located or the familiar air that it has but I keep coming back to this location everytime I have the chance. Altogether, Target is a store that has almost every basic item/appliance (electronics, household, personal care stuff, etc). It has food as well but I'm not use to the idea of getting food in a Target (yet). I have never had a bad experience with this store, well stocked and with ample parking. read more

You know, I'm not sure how a Target, or any other store for that matter, can be classified as "boring", but this location succeeds at doing just that. This is the most BORING Target ever. Just dull, lifeless, blah. You don't even get that "Target" excitement going here. No people in the parking lot scurrying about, no one to fight over a parking space with. It's like going to Walgreens or something. Let's get in, get out, cross it off the list. A plus: they are always in stock on whatever it is you need. read more

Horrible customer service! Even at Guest Services, the customer service was nonexistent. No selection...shelves are bare. I'm a regular Target shopper (like several times a week), but I refuse to return to this store. There are so many others in close proximity--avoid this one! read more

The Druid Hills location is one if my favorites. The store is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. In addition, they carry some of my favorite "natural" cleaning products from Method, Mrs. Meyer*s and Seventh Generation at prices I have yet to find lower anywhere in the ATL. Last, but certainly not least, Target scores a 100% on the Human Rights Campaign "Buying for Equality" Corporate Equality Index, unlike another well-known big box department store. read more

I like this Target because it is easy walking distance from where we live (or used to live). I didn't know there were different classifications of Target before I saw this one. This Target is a "GreatLand" Target, which I think is the middle classification. I guess it's like getting the regular size extra value meal at McDonald's instead of the super-size. Anyways, we like to use Target because it was easy to get to if you needed something quick. Most of their stuff is more expensive than Wal-Mart. For example, it I want a new DVD or something like an IPod that I know will have the same quality no matter where I go, then I will go to a Wal-Mart for it. If I need something quick and feel to lazy to drive, then I can walk across the street easily for it. The staff usually are pretty nice although I have had a few encounters where it seemed like I was putting them out by asking where the popcorn or soda was, lol. Their grocery section is nothing to write home about although I don't think they are really trying to anything special anyways with that segment of their business. My wife has found some good deals on women's clothes there, including maternity clothes. That's probably the coolest thing we have found so far. Overall, not a bad store at all but nothing special either, hence the 3-star rating. read more

The epitome of CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am a regular pharmacy guest. I get multiple meds from this location. I asked John in the pharmacy department if he could color code my different prescriptions. He explained that the color coding was for individuals within a household not for separate meds. He then gave me a different color, empty bottle for each of of my medications. That's exactly what I needed! Little things mean a lot to someone who has severe rheumatoid arthritis in the hands. John made it easy for me to see which pills I've taken by giving me the mult-colored bottles. I will ALWAYS be a loyal customer to this pharmacy because of his kind service. Something so small to others is a big deal to someone who has hand challenges. Kudos to John! read more

This Target is always well stocked and I rarely have trouble finding the items I am looking for (and usually ending up with more great deals than I anticipated!). My only complaint about this location is that there are never enough check-out lanes open. They recently opened four self check-out stations, which are what I use when I only have a few items. But when I have a cart full of items, I have no choice but to wait in one of the two lanes that are usually open. read more

Parking here is so much easier than at my usual Target (Edgewood). So if I need from things from Target and am in the area, I take the opportunity to stop by. I used to get a lot of clothing deals from Target over the years, but this has gone down. The clearance section isn't as good anymore. Also, so many of the clothes (even simple things like t shirts) are hand wash or delicate cycle nowadays. What gives? I guess I need to go to Walmart for some "regular" clothes. I really like Target for paper goods and toiletries. However, the separation of the health and beauty section is very confusing. I constantly forget where things are in this store. I always check out the sales ad for grocery deals. There are frequently some good ones. I like that they carry the specialty M&Ms. :-) read more

Target is my favorite store and I'm so excited that they've finally finished upgrading this store! There is now a full grocery section! Now I won't have to drive all the way to the Perimeter store to get groceries! And they have a great sale going on on many of their grocery items! I still don't understand why there's a Starbucks in this store, since there's one right across the street, but I'd come to this one in the mornings to avoid the long lines at the other one. Overall, two thumbs up! read more

Something is off about this location. Far less inventory here than at any Target I've ever been to. I love target but as far as targets go this one is pretty disappointing. Items are often hard to find as they are not in the aisles that they are labeled to be. I come to this target quite often with my boyfriend and love the selection of items, but the customer service tonight left something to be desired. The cashier scolded me for taking my card out too soon. She was pissy and even though the screen for me to sign my card came up, she said the transaction would probably not go through. As if her scolding me was not bad enough, the transaction went through and she continued to scold me for taking the card out too soon. After being scolded for the second time, I said, well it seemed to go through. She kept on as I was walking away. I should have gotten a manager, but my boyfriend thought I was making a big deal of nothing. I'm the customer and I didn't even mess up the transaction. I mean, since when is it her job description to scold me?? She was a middle aged fat white female and all I can say is maybe something was wrong with her. read more

This Target happens to be the closest one to me, and I frequent it quite often. This isn't the biggest Target in town, but it's sufficient for my needs, whether I need to grab some laundry detergent and a Vitamin Water or a DVD and some socks. Also, Target has a lot more heart than Wal-Mart when it comes to corporate empires. read more

I got a bout 12 ice cubes of attitude tonight at this Target. While I was shopping for totally random things two quite polite store employees asked me if I needed help. Awww, what a great place, right? Anyways, after I get my overpriced beer and my cereal, I headed out to check out. The cashier had such a wonderful attitude that it made me wish that I was anywhere but there. She slammed my glasses with my brewskies. Then she proceeded to grab my cereal by a bundle and crush the boxes with her bearlike grip. I got my receipt and pieced out. Never again! read more

i have always been a Target fan. Stopped in here for some stuff. I was in a hurry and needed to get in and out pretty quickly. I saw long lines forming at the registers and was getting worried I would be waiting in line awhile. They quickly made all the lines dissipate and I left very quickly. Awesome place and from the areas I walked through...very clean. read more
