The food has a decent taste.The cups for the drinks are chunky. The little mariachi they have here is pretty good at singing I will say. The only problem I have at this place is the servings sizes and the price for the amount of a serving. Yes I understand the cost of things but is oils have expected the food to be out of this world.The service here is good. We went to Tarascos in Cassville 06/27/25 in the afternoon after having worked our butts off all day in the heat, we hadn't eaten anything all day and all we had drank was water. We ordered food that we had ordered there before and what we got was bullshit. The food looked horrible, dried out and nasty. I took issue with it right away, but Mt husband, however, tried to be a bigger person about it , ate the food anyway only to end up puking his guts up all the way home. Puke all over the entire front of out suv, all down both sides of the car as we changed seats so he could continue to puke and puke on him from his face to his feet....only to be told by the Tarascos Cassville Restaurant in Cartersville, Georgia that my husband wasn't sick because of the food, which I didn't eat and didn't get sick, but instead because my husband was drunk and that's why he was throwing up....I was the only one that had had anything to drink today period and this manager just assumed that my husband was drunk and falsely accused him of being drunk even after I told him that I was the only one that had had anything at all to drink besides water today. I am completely pissed that he assumed that he was drunk. I didn't assume that he was an ignorant assumed just because of how he had handled me being pissed off about the quality of not one but two foods that we had ordered. We will never not ever go to this restaurant again and unless I change my mind will be seeking legal assistance on the assumption made by this manager. If you're looking at reviews for Tarascos stop and just get in your car and go. Possibly the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. The service was amazing. The food even more outstanding. Seafood nachos has a whole filet of tilapia, another filet of salmon, scallops, calamari, and shrimp! All for $18, 2 people split this as their meal. The tacos were authentic, al pastor was my favorite but the chorizo and barbacoa were close seconds. Carnitas was also included which I ended up giving to another person at our table because I was so full. Highly recommend asking for their verde salsa. All 4 adults couldn't stop eating it but be warned it definitely has some spice to it. The margarita was tasty and didn't have that premix flavor, this was their small. I was told they don't play around and a large was a fishbowl size . We skipped that deciding that lunch on Sunday was probably not the best time to bring out the big guns. The menu is overflowing! I wanted to try so much more. I almost forgot the ceviche! This was a large portion, we really love ceviche. It was fresh and delicious. We cannot wait to go back and try more of the menu. Overall I was a little worried given the vast differences in reviews but what I've learned is always ask your sever for food recommendations. They work there and truly know what's great. This is a HUGE restaurant and laid out very family style and inclusive. The bar sits right in the middle of the restaurant. I can imagine a busy dinner evening would include a lot of upbeat music and dancing. It's a decent drive for most in Greenville but trust me on this, just go. This isn't your Americanized version of Mexican food. It's deliciously authentic and you can really tell they care about their customers experience. read more

I will NEVER GO BACK. And I repeat NEVER! I was so excited to go there because of this post I seen on Facebook of this huge drink that they had! We get there and they no longer have the drink because it was for "promotional reasons". So instead we got margaritas... the margaritas were weak!!! They have them in a fountain already pre made :/ I got tacos which were okay but seemed like they took handfuls of cilantro and smacked them in the tacos. On Tuesday's they have a BOGO deal on tacos, so you buy an entree and get another entree and I couldn't even eat my first entree. My friends got an enchilada as well as a quesadilla and they barely touched their plates. Our server was also very rude and not attentive. I didn't even want to give it one star... Tried this place out on restaurant week mainly because they had churros and who doesn't like a good Mexican food? I will say that since this is their first time doing restaurant week, that I was pleasantly surprised by how much food we got. For my appetizer I got Queso (enough to share for 3 people, which I did). My main entree was the Salmon (maybe 8-10 Oz) which came with this amazing cream sauce, rice, a side salad and a bread stick. Literally so much food, that I definitely didn't finish because churros. They brought me 6 churros, 2 chocolate (the best, reminded me of oreos) and 4 regular which was also served with ice cream and whipped cream. Needless to say I think they were definitely trying to make sure we were stuffed. Would definitely go back if it wasn't all the way on White Horse. read more

I wish I could give NEGATIVE stars!!!!  This place is NOT for Americans, they do NOT give us the same service. I'm HUGE on equality, no one should be treated differently for how they were born...if you are not Hispanic, you do not get the same service.  I watched this happen!!!! The bartender/waitress acted as if she did not want to serve us, we waited entirely too long to be asked for a drink, and then another wait to get it, and another wait for a refill, and I had ice water and when she finally gave me a refill, she did not give me more ice (my 1st glass sat EMPTY for so long that the ice MELTED so I drank it) and I HAD TO ASK FOR ICE IN MY WATER REFILL!  Then my husband asked for her suggestion, and she acted like he asked her for money. The menu is huge and complicated if you are not a familiar customer, but THE STAFF SHOULD KNOW AND BE *WILLING* to help customers understand and to offer suggestions.  My husband's food came out a good 20 minutes before mine...then finally, THEY ARE RUDE!!!!!!! We did read the reviews prior to coming here, but decided we would see for ourselves...major mistake and we will never go back. The food was good, though. They do add the tip as a "service charge" so if you don't catch it, you will double tip for terrible service. read more

It's so expensive and the service and food wasn't even good at all. Everything was so terrible! Our server was forgetful about things we would ask her, and it's not like the place was full. Also, I literally got this fish and that fish was like $30, and it was all bone. The price wasn't even on the menu. Plus, the fish tasted super fish so I think it wasn't fresh at all. I noticed this new restaurant Tarascos several times as I drove past the location. I decided to give them a try today. The food was delicious and the service warm and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and well decorated, however compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area the prices are on the higher end which may be a let down to some customers on a budget. read more
