On our visit they were only taking cash -luckily we had enough on us as the prices were very reasonable & portions huge! My hubby had the gigantic Chili relleno burrito with Carne asada & fresh veggies; i had the Huevos Mexicana with the very savory sauce on top that was not that spicy/perfect for my taste. I was pleasantly surprised with the homemade corn tortillas and homemade chips & salsa that came with our meals. Very clear that this place is frequented by a steady stream of regulars stopping by for take out, or sitting down for Menudo or Birria tacos. Highly recommend this place if you are hungry because of the large filling portions, quality & well prepared food at a small family run business. I ordered a chicken torta which in my opinion is now gonna be a go to for me when I'm in Manteca. The chips and salsa were fresh and very good. This is a family friendly restaurant and the decor inside is very nice . We went to sit down and wait for our food, but not before we stopped at the salsa bar. We were off to a great start cause they had plenty of options, including pico de gallo, avocado salsa, cucumbers, radishes, and many more things. The location was extremely clean, with a lady coming by every 5-10 mins cleaning up anything people dropped or plates people were done with. The Asada plates came with side salad, rice, beans, and a grilled nopal and green onions. It was all absolutely delicious!! The salsas were so fresh and cut through the savory on the plate. It was extremely filling, and my mother-in-law ate the entire plate (she never does that, usually takes half home, so you know it was GOOD).
