Pastor burrito they crazy.
Alexandra C.

Orders a pastor burrito and so did my husband. We got bean and cheese burrito no taste no sauce no nothing - go to Taco Bell instead- I couldn't even find meat and when I did tasted gross no flavor like just plains cooked pork unseasoned. I was starving, so this made me more upset because had to go find something else to eat after I threw it out. Please get a new cook or close down. This is a scam they don't have edible food. You might want to just drive all the way down Louise to I-5 and go to playa azul and get a real burrito. They are not favorite but 100 times better than this! Don't waste your money or time we waited 30 minutes for these burritos to go just to get bean burritos. Yikes! Avoid this place

Super asada burrito, fire!

These low star review on here must be tripping! Or smoking some bunk stuff lol because this place is bomb! I came on a whim for lunch bc I had to use the restroom and stopped here, was a bit hesitant to try the food because of all the negative reviews, but me being Hispanic and seeing some really positive reviews, I decided to be the judge of that and give them a fair chance. I was not disappointed! I got the carne asada burrito and it was gas! Slapped. Huge, (got the super), dank, and grilled to perfection like someone else said. Try it out!

Pork enchiladas with green sauce
Ann T.

Was on the hunt for enchiladas and found this place nearby. If it wasn't for Yelp I would've never found it because it's hidden in the back corner of a small strip mall behind a gas station. They have plenty of seating and are open for dine in a rare find during COVID!!! The salsa bar has a sign advising that it is closed and to ask for chips and salsa from the counter. Prices are not bad for combos, a single combo enchilada with rice and beans is $7.99 Next time I'll go and dine in!

We love coming here. Food is fresh and delicious. This place reminds me of being down south and I love the authentic decor. Great place to host a good size family style meal.

Drove out to Manteca to run an errand with my hubby & found this wonderful place on Yelp. We We…read morevisited this restaurant on Yosemite Ave on Saturday around during peak lunch. On our visit they were only taking cash -luckily we had enough on us as the prices were very reasonable & portions huge! My hubby had the gigantic Chili relleno burrito with Carne asada & fresh veggies; i had the Huevos Mexicana with the very savory sauce on top that was not that spicy/perfect for my taste. I was pleasantly surprised with the homemade corn tortillas and homemade chips & salsa that came with our meals. Very clear that this place is frequented by a steady stream of regulars stopping by for take out, or sitting down for Menudo or Birria tacos. Highly recommend this place if you are hungry because of the large filling portions, quality & well prepared food at a small family run business. This location has several tables/indoor seating and was very clean/well maintained.

Was recommended to try this place out. Placed an order for to go. The restaurant is kind of small…read morebut also has barstool seatings. I ordered the three taco combo plate and you can mix and match the meats. I got all birria and it came with consome as well as rice and beans. The service was nice and quick. The tacos were very filling and the meat was juicy. The consome was really good as well. It did not have a lot of oil like other places. Overall I would for sure come back and try other things on their menu.

I read the reviews prior and they brought me here to see for myself …read more The service from walking in the door was prompt and very welcoming. I ordered a chicken torta which in my opinion is now gonna be a go to for me when I'm in Manteca. The chips and salsa were fresh and very good. This is a family friendly restaurant and the decor inside is very nice . If you'd like to have a drink with your meal they have a full bar set up and if I wasn't driving , a margarita would've been a perfect match with my torta ... Definitely a revisit by me will happen and I will pass this on to friends and family that will and are in the area.

The front counter lady said it would have to be an extra cost for a couple of slices of lemons or limes.....I asked her to run that be me again. She said it will coast extra for slices of limes or lemon. She said that Is their rule...it blew my mind That asked for limes for Mexican Food At charge . That was Greed and lacked any customer Satisfaction for 2 slices of lemon or lime. It is common practice that all Mexican Latino restaurants, taquerias, That serve Mexican food will Not charge for 2 slices of lemon or lime Cmon el Jardin you lost a good customer Over charging for lime slices...unbelievable It's the point of them just being greedy . Also on all Honesty el jardin manteca is priced way over the top for average Mexican food. !

I was super hungry so walked across the street to find some food. After looking into a couple restaurants in the same center, I decided to try mexican food. It's was a long line. Here's a polished and corrected version in English:…read more Normally I would give them 5 stars, but today they really disappointed me . I stopped by and ordered carne asada, a beet and carrot juice, and a guacamole. I was really happy and excited because, after a difficult day and going through chemotherapy, it sounded like the most delicious meal I could imagine. Imagine my surprise when I got home, set everything on the table, and realized my guacamole was missing. I was upset, but I thought, "Oh well." I decided to call later to ask for a refund, and meanwhile I started eating the carne asada... it was extremely dry and almost burnt. Since it was so dry, I took a sip of my beet and celery juice, only to realize it had orange and carrot in it instead, and the oranges tasted kind of rancid. So I called the restaurant to explain what happened with my guacamole and ask for my money back. While thinking about everything, it crossed my mind that I hadn't left a tip. I started wondering if maybe that was why everything went wrong. Right now I'm on disability because I'm undergoing cancer treatment and I'm unable to work, so financially things are not easy for me. Long story short, I spoke with a woman on the phone and all she said was, "Okay, you'll receive your refund in three days." What stayed with me the most was that there was no apology or empathy at all. It honestly left me feeling disappointed, and that's not okay. As a customer, especially during such a difficult time in my life, I expected at least some kindness and understanding. I'm leaving this message so management can better train their employees in customer service. It's not good to focus so heavily on tips or risk a lawsuit because of the attitude of a waitress or server.
