The place is an old converted gas station. Anyway walked in with about 4 Coworkers a and the place was pretty slow right after lunch rush. Sat down got a water and lemon and my coworkers ordered various other beverages. Server came by and I was gonna order the machete but we were on a time crunch so ordered 4 tacos. 2 lengua and 2 carne asada. They came i about 10min later. My first mistake was putting that dark brown/red sauce on one of the tacos cause the heat totally downed out the flavor. Other than that the place gives you free chips wish they has like a salsa Fresca not just the pot salsa which was pretty good anyway. Regardless my coworkers got some caldo, firearms tacos which were damn good and some enchiladas I think. All I all I would come back just for the free chips and salsa the tacos were good also Tacos 5 outa 10 Birria tacos 8 outa 10 Chips and salsa 3 outa 10 Everyone liked their food and later that night some more coworkers went by after we told them about it.

We got their tamales, barbacoa, corn tortillas, chips, various salsas, queso asedero, fajita tacos, carnitas gorditas with beans and rice, cinnamon sugar cookies, and buñuelos. Everything was very good. The highlights for us were probably the gorditas, which were in a deep fried thick tortilla, and the buñuelos (fried dough kind of like a cookie shaped like a wheel) which were very crispy and flavorful. Also, all of the meats were great, and the salsas were all different and flavorful with a nice kick of spice. Service was also excellent. It took me some time to pick out what I wanted but they were very patient and helpful.

One of the best taco places in town. The pastor is freshly cut off the spit, they chop it up in front of you. Pineapple included. All of the sauces are flavorful, I love the brown smokey one the most. I'd say this is a 4 star place if it was in a traditional restaurant setting, but because it's in a gas station it's just worth that extra 5 for going above and beyond.

I had a very disappointing experience here, not once but twice…read more The first time I visited, I specifically asked for no onion or cilantro on my tacos and requested it on the side. When I received my order, it was made incorrectly. I called and went back to let them know I couldn't eat the tacos as prepared. They did remake my order, but the attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional. About two weeks later, I decided to give them another chance, and unfortunately, it was even worse. The girl taking my order was disrespectful, smirking, and clearly had an attitude the entire time. When I received my food, the woman making it came up to me and told me that if I didn't check my food immediately and it was wrong, they would not remake it. As a paying customer, being spoken to that way is unacceptable. Mistakes happen, but the lack of basic customer service and respect is what really stood out. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend this place unless you're prepared to be treated poorly.
