I want to DosSalsas in Georgetown tonight for dinner with my husband. Upon entering the…read morerestaurant, we were greeted promptly by Angie and she seated us in her station. We had an early dinner so the restaurant wasn't too terribly busy and the ambience was nice. We could talk to each other without having to speak too loudly. My husband enjoyed watching soccer on the television. Our server promptly gave us menus. Got us waters, chips, two salsas and some guacamole. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and I got chicken Flautas and my husband got a strawberry margarita. The food came out hot and quickly. We enjoyed it immensely & the guacamole was fantastic. My husband loved his margarita, but I had to drive home! Ha ha. And to top it off, dinner is very affordable here. Their prices are very good. Our server was Angie and she was amazing. She was very attentive to my meal because she had the knowledge of my food allergies. Our service was so good that I'm going to ask for Angie every time I come here. Since I have to be so careful when I eat because I get horribly sick if I eat any cheese or sour cream, it's nice to be confident that I can eat here without worry because Angie's got my back! She really made a difference in my experience at this restaurant. Thanks Angie:)

Coffee was good and came when I ran low. I ordered the poblano omelette which I thought would be spicier, but it was still delicious! It's a large breakfast, nice crispy potatoes and tasty refried beans. I was a happy man the rest of the day. A few days later, I came back for an early dinner on a Monday. I've been told to not go to restaurants on Sundays or Mondays as that is when the chefs take their days off, but not here. Lots of open tables, chips and dos salsas came quickly . I had the Memos special , which is fajita meat cut up mixed with onions, bell Peppers and jalapeños, I added bacon. Man it was good! I got the Charro beans which were outstanding! As was the rice. It was a great dinner! I'm going to ask for more jalapeños next time....

I came to this restaurant for breakfast on Sunday after church…read more First of all this place is always good. The service is always good. The prices are reasonable. I came with my husband and my mother, who is in a wheelchair. The restaurant employees were very accommodating, giving us a table and pulling away the chair so my mother could pull her wheelchair up to the table. They gave us chips and 2 types of salsa, one was hot and one was less hot. They were both good. My mom had scrambled eggs and beans. I had tacos. I do not eat the beans here because they use lard. I realize that lard is the traditional way to cook the refried beans, but it is not in my diet so I skipped the beans, but they looked really good and my mother seemed to enjoy them. The food was good. The only difficulty I had is the tables are very close together, so it was very difficult getting my mother to the bathroom in her wheelchair. People had to get up and move for me, which was awkward. It would be good if they had a few less tables allowing a little more room between the tables so people with wheelchairs could travel through the restaurant without issues. The customers had to get up and move out of the way so I could push my mother through the restaurant to the bathroom. Everyone was very friendly. I didn't have to ask anyone to move, they were all courteous and saw my dilemma. They were truly Texas friendly and showing Texas hospitality! God bless Texas! I must say, however, because of the difficulty of taking my mother to the bathroom, I will not be bringing my mother back to this restaurant, although she loved the food very much.

We both ordered a drink, They came out within about 10 minutes. We also ordered the green sauce which is their Verde. It had really good flavor and some spice to it. I recommend asking for it. I ordered off of the lunch menu pick two mains and two sides for $11.75. So I got the hard tacos and guacamole and queso. It was good. The tacos were really big. The tacos came with lettuce tomato and cheese on the side. It was a small scoop of guac and a small side of queso. Overall the service was super friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.

Mhm I was expecting…read moreso much more than the experience I received during my most recent visit. When I arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, which was strange to me, given the early evening hour and past visits. This place has been jampacked, standing room only. The slogan on the wall "Andamos Al Cien" Is a great goal for the bar area, but on my visit, it fell woefully short. The house margarita was barely drinkable, although the presentation was nice, the actual beverage itself in the glass was something less desirable/drinkable. The bartender commented when I ordered my next margarita, with specific ingredients, he said that should make a much better beverage than what you had the last time. Although, It was better, it was not a a great drink, it was not well balanced, something was off. The food itself, the chicken fajita quesadillas was very average food, and I have to question the chicken fajita component. The chicken did not taste that great and it tasted and appeared to be more like a shredded chicken than a fajita chicken. The flavor just wasn't up to the standard of what I have come to know and expect from a great chicken fajita. Service itself, was OK, but nothing spectacular. The bartender did a decent job of keeping my alcoholic beverage needs filled, but my water glass did not receive the attention it deserved and I had to frequently ask for it to be refilled, when I would expect that your normal server/bartender would see that it was empty and either refill it or ask if it needed to be refilled instead of waiting for me to bring it to their attention Super friendly, bartender, and I have heard great things about their food, so I am thinking I may have just caught them on an off night and will give them another chance. If this place was jampacked like it normally is, I think my experience would have been much different.

I went here with a large group (10) on Sunday last weekend. We went during Happy Hour (3-6p daily)…read morewhen their margaritas/beer/wine and appetizers were all $2 off. This is a very scenic and modern upscale restaurant near the heart of downtown Georgetown. The interior is nicely appointed and understatedly elegant. The inside and outside restaurant and bar areas are expansive but easily outstrip the provided parking. There is also street parking nearby, but don't be surprised if you wind up walking from nearby public lots or garages. I can easily see this place being packed. We had a reservation and were promptly seated and offered water service. As with most Mexican restaurants, there's an expansive menu, so we ordered drinks while we perused the menu. I found the Encantada margarita to be quite tasty, but it was a bit expensive. At $11 for a single serving with house liquors, closer to what we've come to expect locally for a Mexican martini (theirs was $18 with house, $24 with call). That's a bit over-the-top IMHO. We were offered complimentary chips and salsa; I remember the chips to be excellent, and the red salsa just right for my taste, but others remarked that it was too spicy. Our waitress (Paulina) joked that the only thing less spicy was their ketchup. They also have a green salsa, which is even spicier, but that we all skipped. The food menu has a lot of chef-inspired offerings. I tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos (Grilled Chicken, Cilantro, Onion, Fresco Cheese) at $16. I had one on flour and one on corn to taste the difference in tortillas with the same ingredients, along with a side bowl of black beans. I found them flavorful but also on the small side for the price. Additional tacos are $5 each. No rice was offered. This was one of their least expensive plates. We had a great time and our drink and food service was nothing less than excellent, but I couldn't help but come away feeling that, for a check that tabbed in just under $100 (with tip) we should have had a fuller tummy. Would we come back? Maybe. We'll have to explore their other options and perhaps graze more off the appetizer menu; however, less than $5 separate most of their appetizers from their plate dinners. This is a place to go for a culinary and visual experience, not an everyday meal.

Food was 10/10 amazing! Honestly, no complaints…read more The staff was attentive and very knowledgeable about the drinks. Perfect spot for a girls/moms night out! Especially on the patio. Perfect view of the river. The only thing that was confusing was where the entrance of the actual restaurant is. I def recommend making a reservation. I just showed up and ended up waiting about 35 minutes for a table of 3 without one.
