Sausage and bacon breakfast burrito. So good.
Melissa O.

The food here is pretty damn awesome. Here's what we've had: Breakfast burritos - they come with choice of meat, eggs, potatoes, cheese and we've ordered sausage and bacon, sausage, bacon, and ham, and chorizo with added beans Chorizo, egg, and cheese breakfast tacos (I could eat my weight in these) Chorizo and egg plate (chorizo, eggs, tortillas, rice, beans) Tacos - al pastor, barbacoa, chorizo Burritos - carne asada, al pastor The meats are just overall spot on and the standout is the chorizo. I don't know how they make it or where they source it, but this is some of the best I've ever had. So so delicious. I make my own at home and I love it well enough, but if I can figure out what it is in theirs that I am missing from mine, I will have struck gold. The al pastor is also pretty spectacular. I would do a whole plate of this on its own. Couple of negatives: the carne asada was dry and didn't really pack a lot of flavor. Could have been an off day, though, and I am more than willing to give it another try. Also, the rice was admittedly lackluster, but just like I don't judge a barbecue place on their sides, I don't judge a Mexican place on its rice. Maybe that's just me. But all I really care about is the meat. And this place delivers on that front. Prices are good and very fair and service is always quick and friendly. I am so happy I found this truck. I only wish I had discovered it sooner!

This is a food truck but it is good. All orders are made fresh. You get 4 tacos for $6. Breakfast burritos cost $4 and lunch burritos cost $4.50. The salsa they put on the tacos have quite a kick to them. You need to tell them to skip the sauce if you do not like it spicy. Burritos give you the best bang for your buck but tacos taste the best. The elote is nothing special in my opinion. This place is cash only! I believe they have an ATM in the store.

LEGIT TACOS!!!!!!!! I am an incredibly picky street taco girl! I need my flavors right and strong! I have a favorite taco spot but it's not conveniently located to my house. I've been searching for over a year now for some comparable tacos that are closer. FOUND THEM AT TAQUERIA ALBERTOS!!!!!!!!!! Al Pastor tacos...this is all I order. I can't resist Al Pastor. I've been disappointed so many times, waiting for a flavor burst or good moisture to the meat with other restaurants. My first bite of Taqueria Albertos tacos was FULL OF FLAVOR and moisture...NOT GREASE. The beans and rice tasted as though they were literally homemade and cooked in somebody's mom's kitchen! I'M OFFICIALLY IN LOVE WITH THEIR FOOD!!!! Not in the mood for a tacos? (Not too sure why you wouldn't be in the mood) Fine! They offer burgers as well and other types of food. They also have the glass bottle cokes and Jarritos sodas so you won't go thirsty. I definitely will be back and if I can resist the Al Pastor, I'll try a burger! Take into account, this establishment is CASH ONLY so don't go pulling out your plastic! There really isn't a place to sit and enjoy the food but a "car date" with my fiancé and those tacos was PERFECT! They're located right off of Saginaw/Main and are easy to miss if you don't look for the flag or maybe the store they are parked in front of.

Very good breakfast burritos. Just pull into the gas station and fill up on some delicious breakfast burritos and thank me later

Parked in a gas station parking lot, this yellow taco truck is totally unassuming and easily passed. I'm ashamed to say that if it had not been for rave reviews and pictures on Yelp, I probably would have never given this place a try. I'm 100% glad that I finally decided to try Taqueria Albertos. Walking up to the truck itself, there are pictures for every item to help distinguish which items you might want to try. When I walked up to the window, I was greeted by a warm smile and asked what I'd like from a cheerful and amiable man. He answered a quick question of mine, then proceeded to happily write down my and my date's menu selections. I knew already that I wanted to order their street tacos and sopes, so that's what I chose. I also spotted a handwritten "Homemade Gordita" sign. I had to give that a go! At the end of our order we were asked if we'd like red or green sauce. "Or both?" the man asked as if knowing that's exactly what I wanted. "Both!" I said in agreement. Our order consisted of a street taco plate, a gordita, and two sopes - all asada (steak). The grand total was $16.10. We waited less than 10minutes before everything was ready. The wait was long enough to know that your food is being made fresh and fast enough to appease a worker on the go or an impatient person. The food: SO GOOD! The sopes were topped with iceburg lettuce, cheese, and red sauce. Next time I'll request cabbage, avocado, and cilantro as my topping. Toppings aside, the sopes were delicious. The street taco plate did not disappoint. Onion, cilantro, and lime to squeeze were the tacos accoutrements, and (being a "plate") also included rice and beans. The homemade gordita stole the show for me. It was beyond tasty and satisfying. It was wonderful. Addictive. You should try it! As good as everything was, there's so many other items that I want to try. Their burgers look legit. I'll be trying the Ortega Chili Cheeseburger soon! Breakfast burritos, quesadillas, and tortas are all calling my name as well. Not to mention the variants each item can be customized and made depending on your choice of meat. A quick tip: This place is cash only. But FEAR NOT! There is an ATM located inside of the gas station it shares its parking lot with. Red sauce is spicy! The green sauce is milder. Both have great flavor.

Pretty good food and great services. The food is cooked right when you order, but the wait is not long at all. The rice was really tasteful. I wouldn't say the meat tasted authentic but it did taste home cooked and really good.

Hidden gem. Authentic Mexican food, tacos are on point; green salsa is fresh and is made with avocado. Hamburgers are awesome, prices are fair. Only set back is it is cash only.

This is the food truck located in the parking lot of the gas station. NOT here on the weekends!

Breakfast burritos are amazing, both the bacon and especially the Chorizo. The homemade horchata is also incredible.

Yum. Yum yum yum yum YUM YUM YUM…read more Okay, a few more details: Bite My Biscuit (BMB) made the trek to Lewisville to grace us with their presence at Witherspoon Distillery, and I'm glad they did! But boy, did they walk into a situation that really required 2 to 3 food trucks, and they were the only one... The line was long and the wait was longer, but I can't really fault them for that. Witherspoon had a bigger than expected crowd that evening, with some live music and a couple of events (including a Match.com event - that made for some fun people watching). Apparently BMB was told earlier that day that a large crowd could materialize, so they didn't really have time to buy extra food or prep much. But they kept smiling and were nice about it, and everyone went with the flow and it was fine. By the time we finally got our food (made to order for sure - took a while), we were starving. I got the burger (the brisket on a biscuit had run out) and my wife got the special (which I'm blanking on). Both were very tasty. The burger was maybe just a *tad* overdone and the patty wasn't big, but serving it on a biscuit-style bun with some yummy sauce made for a good, hefty sammich. With a side of fries that we shared - which were excellent - it was plenty of food. Value was pretty good, too, particularly for a food truck. I don't think I'd go as far as calling it gourmet like some people have, but it was good and were satisfied. I'd totally order food from the BMB truck again. Oh, and it wasn't exactly a truck - it's actually a really nice trailer. :) (See the pic someone posted.)

The explanation given that the system "couldn't handle the wind" is deeply concerning. If awnings advertised and installed for cold weather cannot be safely used in windy conditions, that is a serious operational and safety issue that should be addressed before guests are seated underneath them. Instead, customers were left exposed, freezing, and ignored. What made this worse was not the weather, but the complete lack of accountability or alternative solutions. No effort to relocate guests, no escalation to management, just repeated refusal. This reflects poor planning and even worse customer care. Management should take this seriously. I would expect someone to reach out, because this experience alone is enough to keep us and others from returning.
