I expected the shrimp to be heavily battered, which I remove the batter, and just eat the shrimp. They were good, not overcooked. For my second request, I ordered the ribs. These were disappointment, overcooked tough. And the chicken wings were boneless and more like chicken nugget nuggets ...so so. Overall, the dinner was three out of five. My wife ordered a salad and soup which was rather good and it was a generous portion of salad so that was a five out of five. If you're looking for a average dinner at an average price, Applebee's will suit you fine. I just don't think it'll be many years before I go back. Service was slow, food quality varied
