I enjoyed my many meals at Davoni's- very disappointed when it was shut down- it was over priced but meatballs were good

Food quality has went downhill. Too salty. Not sure what happened but the used to have pretty good food.

My husband was asking where to go eat I brought Davoni's along with others up and he pulls up to eat I was like awesome heard great things. We both ordered the special Cajun tortellini with shrimps my husband had the Italian chicken noodle and I had the garden salad. Served with bread sticks. The sauce had the right amount of spice. The staff was attentive the restaurant was a nice relaxing setting. I brought my left overs home for our advanced 10 yr old chef to try. Experience new things we encourage.Thumbs up from him and even converted him into liking shrimp that's not breaded. Would like to see half portions as I enjoy taking my kids to try good food or a kids menu. read more

Excellent food, service and such a quaint location. Can't recommend this place enough. Drinks are pretty good, still learning full bar mixtures. Definitely planning on a revisit despite my limited time in Jamestown ND. read more

Delicious and fresh food! My boyfriend and I went to celebrate him getting his license. So tasty. We both tried each of the soups, both were amazing and very good portions! I had the flag pasta which was amazing while my boyfriend had the filet mignon pasta. I'm a vegetarian (most of the time... whoops) and I tried some of his pasta and steak and it impressed me even! We were staying in Jamestown for one night... found this Italian Restaurant. I had spaghetti and meatballs, was good but noodles could have been cooked less...side salad is extra. Hubby had fettuccine with chicken, chicken was excellent but again (sadly) noodles were overcooked, too soft. Sauce was excellent though. Staff was very efficient and friendly. I came here with two friends and we were able to be seated pretty quickly without a reservation which we appreciated. We ordered an appetizer and drinks to start and then ordered our meals and chose what type of salad we would like with the entrées. The bread they brought to the table was very good. After we got our drinks, it was pretty much all downhill. We never did get our appetizer and at least a couple of tables that were seated after us were completely done eating and leaving before we got any of our food. At that point, we canceled the appetizer. Then one of us got their meal, but the rest of us had to wait at least 10 minutes. The salads also never came and when I asked about it, the waiter said "oh, you still want that?" I ordered the filet and pasta medium well but it came out medium rare. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks. When I said that I wanted my meal taken off because it was so late and cooked wrong, the waiter made it seem like a big deal that he'd have to ask the manager. It did get taken off, but shouldn't of been such an issue. I get that places are short staffed and it was busy, but at least apologize for all of the issues which never happened and offer to take something off the bill without us having to ask. The manager should have come over to our table when he heard there was an issue. The food that we did get that was right was good, but I would not come back again. read more

Stopped here on the way through the area. My wife had red snapper and I had the Italian walleye. Both were delicious and a fair amount of food. Prices were reasonable. Potato finglets, broccoli and shrimp bisque were also delicious. read more

I endorse this restaurant 100% for their excellent food, drink, staff and ambiance. Am a regular customer and have never been disappointed. Chef D makes a filet mignon that melts in the mouth, the minestrone is delicious, every pasta dish I have had has been delicious, both the red snapper and walleye dishes are super, and the tiramisu is excellent. Bartender Lucas is clever and insightful with his choices of drink combinations. We like to go there and ask him to make us whatever he feels like mixing for us. Drinks with muddled berries are some of my favorites. His Old Fashioned cocktails are lovely. read more

This is one of the best restaurants I have ate at in the area. Authentic food amazing service. A absolute have to stop!!!

My daughters and I ate here on Saturday night. The meal, atmosphere, wait staff and bartender were exceptional. We had the fillet mignon with crab topper, ribeye with Demi glaze, fingerling potatoes, broccoli, Greek salad, Caesar salad and lemon cheesecake. All of the above was done to perfection!
