The coleslaw was at least 3 or 4 days old. And even worse was the response from the help. She told me well it's free with the meal there's nothing I'm going to do about it.... Yes that's what the lady that took my order told me.... What The Fuck?? At the end after I paid and even after everything was not satisfactory I still gave a 4 dollar tip and she comes back and said, she couldn't believe that was all the tip she got. And even to make things worse there was a bunch of other workers right there, no one said anything. She even told us to get out and OMG ON TOP OF EVERYTHING SHE MADE US LEAVE OUT THE BACK DOWN THOSE CRAZY STEPS. THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTELY WORSE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD TRYING A RESTAURANT OUT THAT I HAVE HEARD SO MANY GOOD THINGS ABOUT.... I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND IN NO WAY RECOMMEND GOIN TO!!!!!!

Living in Vegas, we're used to the 24-hour lifestyle where you can always find something to eat, no matter the time of day. While in Jamestown, we were looking for a late-night meal and quickly discovered that almost everything was closed. We called Tapps and learned that the bar closed at midnight, but the kitchen was scheduled to close at 11:00 PM. It was already 10:50 PM, and we didn't want to inconvenience the kitchen staff. However, Val, the bartender, encouraged us to place an order and head over. Honestly, we were surprised, but we took her up on the offer. We arrived around 11:00 PM, after the kitchen had officially closed, and were amazed when our food arrived hot and fresh at the table. The food was outstanding, and the service was even better. Our server, Pesh, was attentive, prompt, and offered excellent menu recommendations that did not disappoint. Between the exceptional customer service, great food, and willingness of the staff to go above and beyond for travelers looking for a late-night meal, Tapps made a lasting impression on us. We would highly recommend Tapps to anyone visiting Jamestown, North Dakota. Thank you, Val, Pesh, and the entire team for such a great experience!
