If you are looking for the most overpriced coffee shop probably in the entire state this is your place. My wife's latte was just shy of $8 with no added shots etc. I had an Americano with 1 extra shot and cream for $6 and 2 breakfast sandwiches for $18. They make it using a toaster and a microwave. It was good but not $18 good. I just wanted to get on the road after the blizzard last night so I didn't cancel it. Coffee was decent but not great for the price. read more

We were driving through town and I looove coffee on road trips. So I looked up local places and it was so cute and hip. The coffee is local to North Dakota - Bismarck - and the staff were nice, happy, and made great suggestions for an order. Unfortunately, I cannot try all of them so I got a basic iced coffee. AND IT IS DELICIOUS. I highly recommend this place as a little stop. read more

Great coffee! Im always a bit hesitant when trying new coffee places, as I'm pretty picky about my coffee. I was not disappointed. Also, you MUST try the pumpkin muffins...so dense, moist and delicious! A little slow in the drive thru, which wasn't so great, hopefully that isn't a normal things. Passing through this town and saw this coffee shop. Doesn't look all that from the outside, but when you go in - it has that hipster feel in a small town. Barista was super nice and friendly. The coffee is legit + the breakfast bagels combos made fresh that it's still hot. If ever I come through again - I'm most definitely stopping here. I absolutely love it here and have always had good service. In my last 2 visits I've been feeling lack luster due to a certain employee. I believe her name is Haley, she's blonde with glasses, is super rude and makes me feel as if I'm inconveniencing her. Her tone of voice is not welcoming and not up to par with the other employees at plantation coffee bar. Maybe she should go and work at babs where rude employees are the vibe. read more

The staff in here was just so sweet. After a long ride from Michigan and an overnight at a sketchy hotel (kind of to match the town), we stopped in on our way out. So glad we did! The coffee was outstanding, the service friendly and our breakfast sandwiches huge and fresh. You'd almost miss this place as it is nestled in a strip mall with an insurance agent and a baby resale place. Don't miss it. It's worth a stop. read more

This is located a little south of downtown, but not too far away from the hotels. Compared to another more established coffee shop-not-to-be-named in town, this has a little hipper vibe, but a less attentive staff, and the food leaves something to be desired. The menu looks great, but the breakfast sandwich was just ok and definitely needed some more seasoning. The dark roast coffee was great, though. They do pour-over, too, which I was really happy to see in such a small town. That being said, I'd come back again and again, if not just for a quick pick-me-up. read more

Love their coffee but wish they would change their hours. Hours of operation are 6am-3pm. Competition has "happy hour" from 4-7 which is nice when we want a coffee on our way out of town. Plantations staff is super friendly and always smiling!! read more

As a regular customer (at least 3 times per week since they opened) I will make my first review for Plantation. It is no doubt the best in town although becoming less and less reliable for good service. What once ran smoothly is no longer the case. Special requests (which is what a coffee shop is all about) is scoffed at or made to sound like a choir or stated "that's not how we do it." Cleanliness too is dropping away as they join the "other" coffee shop standard in town. The office they use now occupies one of the tables with clutter from computer, phone, drink, and bank deposit (I do NOT understand why they leave money laying out...not important I guess, very trustful or just plain stupid). I will continue to frequent this establishment as I stated at the beginning as it is the best in town all the while hoping things will rebound soon and go back to the friendly, accommodating, clean and tidy coffee shop it began as. read more

Not bad. Not bad at all. One of the best mochas I've ever had. I'm not from Jamestown and I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. It's sort of in the center of town with easy parking. There was a drive thru window. The decor and fixtures all looked new. Will be back again tomorrow. read more

Excellent coffee! Specialty flavors are delicious and bagels with all types of cream cheese. The atmosphere is great too. Some of the baristas do lack a little knowledge and experience, but most of the baristas are knowledgable and have really good suggestions. It's my favorite place for coffee in town. read more
